## What is Arena QMS?

Arena’s product-centric quality management system (QMS) simplifies compliance by connecting quality and product processes in a single, secure system. Medical device, life sciences, and other highly regulated companies can document and track closed-loop quality processes for device master records (DMRs), design history files (DHFs), training records, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in context to the entire product record and bill of materials (BOM). Good. Compared to other QMS which require downloads onto PC = crashes, this browser-based QMS resolves it and is lightweight.

Pros

It's intuitive interface and centralized control over product documentation, change management, and quality processes. It significantly improves traceability and collaboration across cross-functional teams, making compliance and audits much easier to manage.

Cons

Can do better in allowing things to be easily sorted quickly. Causes different teams to do things differently.

My overall experience with Arena QMS has been very positive. The system is simple, intuitive, and easy to navigate, which makes managing documentation and processes more efficient.

Pros

I like that it’s very simple and intuitive to use, which makes navigation and documentation easy and do my job easier everyday.

Cons

Overall, Arena QMS works well, but occasionally the system responds slowly or takes extra time to load documents. Improving speed and navigation would make the user experience even better.

enjoyable overall and vital for a large company. I like the ability to customize the homepage with bookmarks and action tracking.

Pros

the interface is intuitive and allows all important information to be readily available. The concept of a QMS is vital and Arena does it well.

Cons

Search function seems very outdated and can miss a lot of files. a "smarter" search would be great, with natural language

The Arena customer support has been great and helpful. I think the learning curve can be faster if there is a training for new users. When I started there was no QMS training in the package. I training needs to point out how the QMS world behaves different from the Items World. I needed to reconfigure some of my steps and process mapping.

Pros

Ease of use, flexibility, and implementation. I can create templates easily and share with the team. I can copy templates from one workspace to another one.

Cons

\- File management. I can update and modify attached files under affected after completion of a step or the request. This is a big deal specially when there is an approval requirement. - Group attributes behave different in the QMs world.

It's a great software, using for over an couple of years now. really helps maintaining the drawings & documents with ease without any hassle.

Pros

Ease of accessing files from previous versions/revisions. really helps for maintaining production and prototype drawings without merging them. limiting access to people based on their clearance. recent updates have made linking and adding the files easier.

Cons

Once i add the parts / assemblies in the Design change order(DCO), i would again have to add all the same parts to Drawing request(DRW). an option to directly reflect those parts in each other once its added in either of them would be helpful

From my experience, the system can feel a bit overwhelming at first. It takes some time to get used to the navigation and document approval workflows, especially for new users.

Great value for money PLM platform with good features and support to its users enables smooth work flow for complete product cycle.

Pros

Document management, workflow streamlining, accessibility to Edit and review BOM and inventory details, improved team collaboration with effective sharing of change details and accessibility to files implementing of change details made easy with effective email communication to the required stakeholders

Cons

Needs training sessions for best practices and shortcuts to improve our learning curve, should have the flexibility to add preferred columns in the search page from the DRW and DCO details
