It is essential to know where my gear is and when it will return. Cons The inflexibility of some features. Sometimes I attempt to use Flex in ways that seem common sense to me, though I find it is not a feature, or it is something that has a total roundabout way of doing. April 17, 2018 1.0 Pros Seemed to be a great product and we bought into it, having been assured that the Flex software could import our inventory and history from the HireTrack system we had used for 10 years... Whenever we think "This would be a nice feature", it takes us about 60 seconds to realize that it's already baked into Flex. It really is the only solution for any production company that does over 150 events a year. There is no other platform that comes close to the same feature set, especially for the price. Cons: Flash? Really? It's 2015! They need to get this converted to HTML 5 already. Con: Slightly front loaded time investment to learn their workflow. Cons: Like all software its garbage in, garbage out so lots of front end entry to get the results you want but well worth it. Comments: We have used 2 other systems in the last 25 years and nothing compares to Flex. Because its so user definable you can customize just about everything in the system. We would highly recommend this system. Haven't done a tablet (android or iPad) Cons Flash... and when multiple users are working on the same form. There are a lot of configuration options and they offer a free 30 day trial. The updates come out regularly and it gets better every month. The Webinars are really cool. It seems that they take the most common support requests and then do one based on that. Cons: Flash and not HTML5. But they are working on it at full speed I am told to get it converted. I like that the team will help me customize my templates. I like that I can keep all of our inventory categorized to what makes sense to us. Cons Took a little while to figure out how to use program.. lots of windows to get to a setting. Wish the layout of each item was a little cleaner. Also would like to see a simple update of overall design- looks very computer coding.
