Especially, in using the software for the ERP platform. Pros The CRM and Sales modules are easy to navigate, and the report function, which allows one to pivot, is very useful. Cons There should be 100% integration with other email software like Outlook as even some SMEs are now using M365 as their productivity suite. The domain variation, when a user is using Odoo email, is confusing with clients. We were led to believe that this investment would significantly improve our operational efficiency across all departments. However, we were shocked to discover later that this substantial amount was only for training and not the full suite of services as promised. Since January 13, 2024, we have yet to fully utilize the software, as Odoo has continuously focused on customizations. Every meeting and customization session has drained our subscription hours, and we now find ourselves with only 39 out of the original 100 hours remaining—most of which have been wasted on endless customization rather than the actual use of the software. We feel deceived and defrauded, much like many other customers who have reported similar experiences with Odoo. What we initially saw as an investment has now become a waste of hard-earned money, and we can't help but view this as a scam. November 8, 2024 2.0 I found Odoo and decided to use it for their web development product. I created a fantastic and complex website and put it online, when I came back to it to make more changes, I found that my webpage was offline, I signed back in and spoke with their chat team and they reinstated the website, no problem. I went back to using it, this time the website was complete and didn't require me to look at it again. When I went back to it, it was gone again. This time I didn't get a response and wasn't able to get it back online. Pros I was able to create a unique and engaging website without things feeling blocky and formulaic. Cons My website was lost several times and wouldn't stay online if I didn't log in every week. In the end I gave up on the software. Alternatives considered [Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/) Reason for choosing Odoo I was able to make more unique webpages and didn't need to commit to a contract. I know it's don't worth it for Odoo to do it for small markets like Hungary, but it's also bad if the local partners can't solve it neither or it's too expensive. Pros Odoo is an all in one platform. And thats a special given considering the price it holds. You get Erp, accounting and CRM in one. And thats what i like the most. You dont need three different packages anymore and connect them together. This is a winner for me. Cons Some simple things arent simple to change in the online environment. For example. If you would like to change the register form for new clients on the ecommerce side. Or add a picture link to a product. After making the payment, they completely failed to provide the promised services. Despite multiple follow-ups, I received no support or meaningful communication from their team. It feels like they took my money and disappeared! Their customer service is non-existent, and the platform itself lacks the quality and reliability they boast about. It’s been a frustrating and stressful process dealing with them, and I strongly advise against anyone using Odoo. Save yourself the trouble and look for more trustworthy alternatives. I would never recommend Odoo to anyone. Stay away! Pros At first, Odoo seemed promising with good communication and service. However, after they received the payment, everything went downhill. Their service quality dropped drastically, and I was left with little to no support. Very disappointing experience. Not recommended! Cons After paying, Odoo completely failed to deliver the promised services. No support, no follow-up, just frustration. They took my money and disappeared! I strongly recommend avoiding them. August 6, 2024 1.0 I wish I had only signed up to pay monthly, but my "account manager" convinced me that signing up for a year and adding all the users upfront would be cheaper. I started with using the platform to replace QuickBooks. I paid for a two-hour support session with my rep, and during the call, he had to look up or ask somebody else for the answers to my questions on how to do something. By the end of the call, he had not answered how to enter beginning balances. It is a basic function of accounting software, but he didn’t know and said he would get back to me. Here we are three months later, and he hasn't gotten back to me. There were other outstanding items I needed answers to, but he hasn't responded to any of my emails. I emailed him asking for a phone call, but I got ghosted. I contacted customer support to help me connect my banking account to the application, and it took them three weeks to respond, and their answer didn’t fix it. I run a business, and waiting three weeks for that is just unacceptable. Getting no response from my "Account Manager" is unacceptable. Clearly, he's got the wrong title because he manages nothing! He can't even do his job. So, now, this gets worse. I asked for a refund because the platform is unusable to me. Guess what? I won't be getting one. Why, you ask? Because the company is based in Belgium and I am in the States. Seriously, that's the reason they gave me. WHAT THE HECK? I've now switched to Zoho and can't be happier! Please consider my experience and try something else instead! Pros I like that there are many apps in one platform. Cons The applications are not user-friendly! I'm good at learning software, but this one is foreign and complicated. The customer service is HORRIBLE!
