It has all in one tools required for the business suits. Pros It is much easy to build and customise as per business requirement. Thats the thing i like most about it. Nobody could help me quickly without me paying insane amounts of money for them to just literally fix bugs in their system. I sent in an insane amount of help tickets given that I didn't really need the most advanced system in the world. If you are a small business and have only a small amount of tech experience, avoid Odoo like the plague. I cannot speak to how they might be with more advanced needs, but for me, it was genuinely the worst customer experience I have ever had. Pros They have a huge variety of apps to choose from and customize. You are able to adapt the software to your needs, however...do not expect to get adequate help or for their instructions to be up to date. Cons Almost everything. After purchasing and getting close to the opening of my business, I realized it was probably too complicated a software for me given that my needs as a one-man business are super low. However, I was fine with that - as long as things worked. And they did not. Their point of sale app repeated stopped working completely while my shop was open, and nobody could help me over the phone (even though it was urgent). I would send error codes to their tech team, and every single time, the tech team said they couldn't do anything with the error code. Their sales team was incredibly uninformed when I initially signed up, and told me that I would be able to use my own IoT box without subscribing to the odoo IoT subscription. It became very apparent that this was not the case, fine, I paid for the IoT subscription - then as soon as I did, we realized that the reason we needed could be circumvented very easily. Not to mention, we couldn't connect it to our receipt printer to begin with, and their online instructions were about 10 years out of date. We have since switched to shopify and everything has worked SO smoothly. All I needed was a simple point of sale and inventory system, and Odoo oversold and dramatically underdelivered. My sales rep was on vacation and unable to help me when I opened my business. The large majority of my stress was caused by their system literally not working. My experience with them was a disaster and despite them completely misleading me about the IoT box integration, they refuse to reimburse me. This is apparently their policy, which to me, seems incredibly unethical. Don't sell me something I don't need when the salesperson is on vacation or refuses to talk to me. I cannot scream loud enough for you to avoid this if you are a small business. It is an easy to use application, though i only used it for inventory there is a lot more you can do with it. Cons There wasnt anything i didn't like. Pros Odoo is an extremely complicated software! I was basically mislead into buying it and once I realized it wasn’t what I wanted for my business I asked for a refund since I was told I had to purchase a year and couldn’t do monthly payments. They refused. I spend hours trying to learn it and still can’t get my website up and running after several months! Cons They lied. They won’t help me at all. It’s a useless product for me and my needs and they refuse to refund me so I can switch to something else. Pros J'aime beaucoup le fait que tout soit intégré. Petit à petit, pour ma gestion d'entreprise je ne sors pratiquement plus d'Odoo. Je me demande même si je ne vais pas abandonner word. Cons J'aimerais pouvoir généré un rapport d'historisation des modifications faite sur Odoo studio, écran par écran, tâches automatisées par tâches automatisées etc.Bref pouvoir sortir dans un format compréhensible ce qui est de studio et ce qui ne l'est pas. Autre chose ça serait bien que dans le module projet on puisse voir la disponibilité mensuelle, journalière des ressources. Pros Le programme est assez simple d’utilisation pour un novice, toutefois l’aide d’experts d’Odoo est tout de même utile si on ne s’y connaît pas trop. Heureusement, il y a la journée de formation gratuite que je conseille tout de même de suivre 2x, la seconde étant pour les questions 😉. L’aide de l’assistance est également la bienvenue en cas de petits ou gros problèmes. Ils sont la porte vers la solution. Merci Cons À la base, j’ai choisi Odoo à la place de Shopify car le commercial m’avait vendu la possibilité de payer grâce aux ecocheques, chèques consommation et chèques sports et culture en ligne pour mon e-commerce. Après avoir payé pour mon 1 an d’utilisation et avoir commencé la création de mon site, j’ai appris qu’en réalité ces modes de paiements ne seraient pas possible car pas compatible avec les moyens de paiements proposés par Odoo. Qu’elle ne fut pas ma déception. C’est possible mais uniquement avec un développement personnel (ce qui signifie prendre un partenaire expert et allonger +/- 5000€. Donc infos erronées de la part du commercial. Pas correct et pas professionnel !! Le site étant presque terminé et va me coûter bien moins cher que Shopify, je vais tout de même le garder car les possibilités sont plus nombreuses et plus simple une fois le concept maîtrisé. Linked with sales and invoicing, it provided a full end-to-end vision of the clients’ interaction from the quotation stage to fulfillment and invoicing. Cons I had challenges especially with identifying the exact duration to should take for each task in the project. Time spent was not aligned with the invoices, so billing for hourly services as straightforward as expected and required corrections.
