### "Wonderful ERP for small and big businesses, great CRM"

March 7, 2026

I have been involved with this ERP for more than 5 years and use it daily in my business and with my customers.

### "Odoo!! Ohh, do? Yes, you should do."

October 11, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with is phenomenal. Everything you need from the start of your vision to your exit plan. If you have multiple businesses or different ventures, you can manage everything as the admin without it interfering with each business. It’s really flexible and lets you organize things exactly how you want. I like to think of it like making a sandwich. Maybe you want bread, maybe you want lettuce instead whatever works for you, it’s all there. That’s the beauty of Odoo: it adapts to your creative vision. On top of that, you can create your own apps, integrate your own tools, and truly make the platform work for you and or your clients. You really can’t go wrong with it. I personally use one account for everything I do, and as someone with experience building and selling businesses, managing warehouses, handling finance, and helping others scale their operations, I need a system that keeps me organized without feeling overwhelmed. Odoo delivers that, especially because of their free trial you get access to the full platform with no limitations.

Pros

What I love most about is how powerful and simple it is at the same time. It’s affordable, customizable, and gives you everything you need to run your business in one place. Finances, websites, inventory, employees, task management … seriously it’s all there and fully integrated. And here’s the real secret: it might sound like a lot, but it’s not. You can make it as simple or as advanced as you want. Three steps. Click. Click. Boom. You’re in. Odoo is built for continuous improvement. The easier the system, the faster the results. The world overcomplicates everything, but Odoo gives you clarity. One icon, one login, everything right there. And the support team is solid; they reach out and help you stay aligned so your business flows effortlessly. I use Odoo to manage multiple ventures, and it’s allowed me to help entrepreneurs, startups, and even 100 million dollar companies run with full transparency and confidence.

Cons

The only downside is that the trial eventually ends! I was like, “D#$n, I knew it was too good to be true!” Honestly, there really isn’t anything not to like about it. Side note: They will let you know ahead of time and help you get the paid version, which is the same version! of course you know they have to pay for the space and whatever else and employees and all that stuff and make it make sense. And a good thing about it is it’s not like the other platforms like when your trial period over all your stuff is locked down and you have to pay for it right then and you can’t access your stuff which causes a domino effect … they work with you and Your stuff is still there and it’s not shut down … 404

It’s too much going on. It’s not as customizable as you may want it to be and then it was just way too expensive

May 25, 2026

3.0

Overall, my experience has been a positive one, however, I find that adding customization is often difficult.

Pros

In my opinion, I find that has very clean user interface and it is relatively easy to navigate.

Cons

I find that sometimes, the bank syncing does not work that well, and adding plugins is not very easy.

### "Small and big business will love this!"

September 6, 2025

5.0

Pros

I really love how easy fits sales management in one place. It is super helpful and saves me tons of time! It also offered me an almost instant customer support when I first joined the platform, asked me if I needed anything and lending a helping hand.

Cons

I didn't like how only one element was free. I mean, I understand they need to earn money somehow, but as a new business I would've liked to try more elements for my small store.

overall its a solid product but not perfect. it has a lot of features but sometimes feels a bit messy or overwhelming.

Pros

good all in one solution, you can handle a lot of business stuff in one place which is really useful. pretty flexible with all the modules and once its set up it saves time. also scales well if your business grows

Cons

can get confusing pretty fast, especially in the beginning. setup takes quite some time and not everything is intuitive. also some features feel a bit unfinished or need manual adjustments which is annoying sometimes

### "Odoo subscription account deletion"

November 13, 2025

1.0

My experience with can be described in 1 word a nightmare. No one should be in this situation waking up to see that the fully paid subscription account with database and pos completly deleted without prior notice and althoug im the admin of the odoo shop account. But what i didnt know that the odoo partner i signed with have scamed me and created my odoo shop under there company accouny which is a clear data ownership Violation.

Pros

Online pos system. Accounting and easy to navigate. All features are available in this software it only lacks a good customer service.

Cons

My database — which I paid for and which should have been created under my company’s ownership — was created and controlled entirely under ADG’s ( odoo authorised partner) internal account. Because of this, ADG was able to delete my database and remove my access without any authorization. This situation raises several extremely serious points: 1. Data Ownership Violation: Despite paying for a full-year Odoo subscription, my database was never created under my CompanyID. It was created under the partner’s internal account, which contradicts Odoo’s customer ownership policy. Odoo support didnt show the minimum responsibility regarding this big error and considered it as an inconvenience situation and the only thing they offered is to create a new account and told me to redo the wholework myself again. Since my contract with ADG is paused due to delay in project delivery several times.

Alternatives considered

[Sage Sales Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/153130/Forcemanager/)

Reason for choosing Odoo

I thought I'd have a professional program, but it is almost a scam. I paid for a yearly subscription and invested money with an partner, and they deleted my account with a click. Odoo considers this issue an inconvenience. My subscription is on, but I have no account. Can anyone imagine this error? It is only because I live in Africa that this can happen. If I were in Europe or the USA, I would have sued Odoo and their stupid partner for this deadly error.

### "waste of money"

August 27, 2025

1.0

I'm not recommending this software. Odoo’s numerous technical issues, poor performance, lack of crucial integrations, and slow support have made it a poor choice for our business. It feels more like an unfinished product than a professional business solution.

Pros

the only good thing about is it has a lot of modules even for employees appraisal and recruitment.

Cons

the whole database is slow, laggy and most of the time will not load. email marketing clicks are not accurate and "Scheduled" campaigns does not send on time. no native integration with Wordpress or Webflow making it difficult to track website subscriptions Online support is VERY SLOW to respond

Switched from

promises a complete, all-in-one business management suite. However, my experience with the platform has been a constant struggle against its core technical flaws and a frustrating lack of support. Instead of a seamless solution, Odoo has become a source of daily headaches due to its persistent performance issues and frustrating limitations.

### "I tried Odoo so you don't have to"

September 12, 2025

1.0

Not great. I couldn't even make the free trial work. It seemed confused if it wanted to be free or wanted me to sign up and I kept going in a circle.

Pros

Seems like a great idea. Lots of modules that can help a smaller business look like an Enterprise business. I was tired of paying $65 a month to Intuit and $700 a year to DocuSign. There's got to be a better way, right?

Cons

I talked to a salesperson. I wasn't sure what his objective was other than to get me to sign up for a paid version and sign a 5 year deal. Whoa, Pilgrim! He was a jack of all trades and master of none, meaning he did not have detailed understanding of how the accounting module worked. Basic stuff like split categorization. I told him I wanted the free version to see how I liked the software and then I could move my European susidiary on if it all worked out. Once I clicked the link he gave me I could not figure out how to use the softward and I gave up.

### "Simple, good for small organisations, but has limited funtionality"

March 19, 2026

3.0

Generally it was easy to use, but often we were lacking functionality, when it was coming to structuring the data or when we wanted to have more advanced functions.

Pros

is mostly really easy to use, since most of the functions are simple and straight away. No need to long customizing, which makes it a good deal for small to medium organisations.

Cons

If you need some advanced funtionality is not the best solution. For large organisations, where you need to work with big amount of data, it makes difficult to clasfy, filter you information on a precise way.

### "Disappointing Direct Support after Payment"

September 3, 2025

1.0

My advice: get all the demos, calls, and answers to your questions BEFORE you pay for any subscription. Do not expect proper customer service after you become a paying client.

Pros

It offers many applications. If you manage to integrate all information inside the platform to run your business, can be quite useful.

Cons

My experience with has been very disappointing. Once you become a paid client, it is extremely difficult to receive direct and proper customer support. If you encounter any issues with your account, instead of solving them, they simply redirect you to their website, leaving you without real assistance. Ironically, before subscribing, Odoo will call you all the time with demos, offers, and follow-ups. But once you pay, the attention drastically changes. There is no easy way to contact someone directly to help with technical or account-related problems.

### "Not worth the look"

June 13, 2025

2.0

I found it to be extremely negative and even after I told them that this is not what I was looking for at all they continued to try to push a sale on me

Pros

I tried to give this product a real go during a free trial and it didn't suit any of my needs so unfortunately I have to say there was nothing I liked about it

Cons

It felt too clunky and not very user friendly. Even after discussing my needs with support and following their instructions it was not very good for me

### "Odoo Community Version"

November 25, 2024

4.0

The experience is very good considering it's free and Open Source. For small to medium businesses it can do what is needed right out of the box. Be prepared to pay for third-party apps and support once in a while.

Pros

The features available in the Community Edition are mostly enough for what we need to do and is standardises processes across the board. We can then sell other small business work for configuring their own since we use it too. A lot of the business functions and processes are already built in, it is just a matter of activating the module you need and then configure it. The e-commerce feature is the simplest I have used, almost anyone can create products because it was built from a layman's perspective. The community is vibrant and helps with some issues if you have them. You might have to pay a partner for support and added functionality which is mostly once off. For a fraction of the cost, there is no worry of licence renewals just hosting fees.

Cons

Some functionalities which are basic in alternatives are not available even in the cloud version. You need to test third-party apps yourself which you might not have the time for and can break current functionality. Not all issues are addressed in the forums if it is not a common issue; a lot of issues are still open from previous versions. The official documentation is sometimes shallow.

### "Odoo works till you need something complicated"

February 11, 2025

Overall it's been good for very basic things. As soon as you need something integrated or complex it gets difficult and not the best.

Pros

All system under in one platform and it's easy to switch back and forth between modules.

Cons

Features are limited and if you want them you can pay someone more money to develop it. Always a cost for everything with this.

### "Flexible and powerful, but needs some polish"

April 3, 2026

4.0

Pros

What I liked most about is that everything is in one place, like CRM, accounting, ops… so you don’t switch tools all the time. It’s pretty easy to use, scales well, and you can customize it a lot, for a fair price too.

Cons

What I liked least about is that some features can feel a bit rough or not fully polished, and you sometimes need technical skills to customize things properly. Also, performance can slow down with many modules, and support isn’t always super responsive.

### "Powerful ERP System with Endless Customization Possibilities"

July 23, 2025

5.0

We’ve been using for several years in both internal operations and client projects. Its open-source flexibility allowed us to develop industry-specific modules and connectors like WooCommerce to Odoo integration, which we offer via our Prefortune app store. Overall, Odoo gives us the control and scalability we need for small to mid-size businesses looking to automate and grow.

Pros

offers an all-in-one solution that scales beautifully with business needs. The modular approach makes it easy to implement what you need, from CRM and inventory to accounting and eCommerce. We especially benefited from the flexibility Odoo gives developers—using it, we’ve even built our own apps like the WooCommerce Connector available on the Prefortune store, which integrates perfectly for real-time sync.

Cons

The initial setup can be overwhelming for new users, especially when dealing with customizations or third-party integrations. Documentation has improved, but more examples and real-life implementation cases would be helpful.

Instead of piecing together multiple tools, integrates key business functions in one system which can simplify workflows and reduce tool sprawl.

Pros

Odoo’s biggest strength is its modular design...you can pick and choose what apps you need (CRM, inventory, accounting, project management, e-commerce, HR, etc.) and grow by adding more later.

Cons

What I like least is that while modular pricing seems flexible, costs can escalate quickly if you unlock many features or add a lot of users.

1.0

Pathetic. My original helper lead me in directions that cost a lot of time and didn't work. Trying to import products with variations is a nightmare...even when Odoo do the import themselves the final outcome is nothing but a mess of mis matched data.

Pros

Not much. Maybe the system is OK if you are starting from scratch, but migrating to from another platform is just insanely complicated and the import functionality is third rate.

Cons

Promised a lot... but trying to migrate from another platform has proven to be expensive, time consuming and a total waste of time.
