November 25, 2022 5.0 We have been a QuestionPro non-profit client for over a decade and it has been indispensable for us when surveying clients clients and stakeholders, and then using that information to make informed decisions. Pros Non-profit waiver provides access to QuestionPro amazing feature set, offering non-profits incredible value. Cons As with almost any online software, some organizations (especially government agencies) block websites such as QuestionPro. We always include a pdf and allow clients to submit back to us, for staff input. Reason for choosing QuestionPro At the time (over a decade ago) Survey Monkey did not look professional not did they provide same feature set as QuestionPro under their non-profit waiver. Because I am a 1 person company and infrequently have market research projects needing a survey, being able to rent the use of the software for a month or two, for any given project, is the only approach that I can afford. 2. I love the versatility of the product 3. I love the support I can get from their team in India, especially when we can do a live video connection. It's hard to get good support these days, especially if you are restricted to chat or email. I find when I need help, I need it now! Cons There are places where is automaticity, gets in the way. Example: on the project I just completed, I used a Choose Many type question. I needed a chart that would tell me how many people chose each option. The default chart shows how often each option was chosen among all the options chosen. Not really what I needed. I wasn't sure the software could even be forced to give me the kind of chart I needed. It took a lot of work but eventually the support person figured out what I needed and how to do it. Review Source JB Jeff B. I've also found the support and service to be very quick and responsive for my needed questions. Pros We are a small nonprofit association and QuestionPro has been the perfect fit for our organization, i.e. plenty of advance features but easy to learn and use. Cons We've had great success with QuestionPro. As we've needed some more advance features, we are trying to figure if need an upgrade or an alternative but overall we are very satisfied. I have some experience with software and certainly a lot in business software, but the software was straightforward and fairly easy to use and it the user experience exceeded my expectations. As I started to learn a little more about the product I realized their were some capabilities that were a little advance for me. I called tech support and they couldn't of been more helpful. Pros I liked the fact that the software was very easy to use and gave us a great deal of flexibility. We are a small non profit that simply was trying to survey our membership. The analytics and reporting that is created was wonderful and was useful in our result presentation to our members. Cons Frankly there were no features that I disliked. Overall, I am just impressed and would recommend QuestionPro to anyone. Pros The product is very easy to use with many great features. It just fits in well with our organization's demands. Cons I have not encountered anything that looks like drawback in my use of the software, though not saying that it might not have but it has been great for my use. Cons Sometimes the more complicated features, like skip logic, requires a little bit of reading of the resources provided by QuestionPro. Pros The software has a very good concept as a whole, it's giving you the right and important tools for your surveys and polls, it shows the data live, you can filter it and export it to excel. The surveys and polls creator is very user friendly and very professional, you can create some very beautiful polls and surveys. Cons \- You can't color the graphs as you like, if you want to do it, you need to change it with CSS, so if you don't have the CSS knowledge, you just can't change the colors. - To save the graphs you need to do a print screen, there's no way to export them to your computer. - The weighting tool is broken and not calculating well. - There were some reports during our campaign of a very slow loading times, which cause some respondents to stop respond to the poll in the middle. - The customer service is pretty horrible and not responding, unlike what they claim, nobody answers the live chat, so if you need something very urgent, you need to call them, but it's not sure that they would solve the problem. Being able to export raw data in various formats, or fully formed reporting in powerpoint, so quickly is a huge resource saver for us. They are also committed to GDPR and partner with us to ensure compliance and data governance. The team is personal and accessible and they are quick to collaborate. Pros QuestionPro has so many features when building and deploying your survey and even more when you are analyzing your results. Building our surveys is easy and flexible -- with a vast array of question templates to choose from, integrated logic, and design. Deploying is also easy and they are continuing to work on improving this feature. The analysis is top-notch and appears every day to be built and developed by data scientists that work to unlock new results from your raw survey data. Most of all, however, their customer service is paramount. They are quick, friendly and accessible and always willing to listen to new ideas. Cons Deployment currently is good but not great. You can load lists, but we still have to do manual work to maintain those lists before loading and there is currently no validation of emails or audit for duplicates (of previously sent emails). I could not ask for more. Pros The easy of creating surveys saves me time and stress. Cons The editor could have more options. Sometimes when I use the visual editor I have issues with it resizing the images to the original size instead of what I set it at in the html tag. Reason for choosing QuestionPro The price. July 7, 2022 5.0 Pros Question Pro has made it so easy to digitize all of our evaluation surveys so we can easily collect data and analyze it. We are a small nonprofit so this frees up extra time and resources. I also like the Advanced question options to streamline the look and ease of our surveys. Cons Becoming familiar with different types of questions and their functionality takes a little time, but once you work with them a bit it allows for a lot of flexibility. February 28, 2024 5.0 We have been using QuestionPro for almost 15 years, and in that time we have conducted several surveys that were shared with not only NGOs but Multilateral Organizations in different countries and languages. QuestionPro is a great tool for gathering different stakeholders' opinions when conducting an external evaluation of Assistance interventions. Very useful for evaluating performance. Pros QuestionPro is easy to use and very intuitive, we have an NGO account, and the features available for survey drafting and analysis work great, do not hesitate to request support whenever needed, because customer service is one of the best we've ever encountered. Executive Director Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Excellent for our very lengthy, involved community survey needs" June 14, 2022 5.0 We have been using QuestionPro for a very large, complex community survey that we were running for nearly two years. It took us a long time to develop the survey, and we were changing things constantly for a long time and found the software user-friendly for doing so. The purpose of our survey was actually to share as much information publicly as possible (not just for internal analysis) so being able to embed the results was a really important feature to us and we actually created an entire website using multiple blog summary pages to display all of the embedded results. We are very happy with this. Our needs in other respects at present are probably not as sophisticated as some other companies, and we were pleasantly surprised at how user-friendly QuestionPro was for us to administer. Since we started in 2018 I don't actually remember the other specific packages that we looked at but QuestionPro's interface was an important factor. For our large survey, for various reasons we did not make use of the automated tools to remind people to complete their survey, etc, and instead we opted for a more manual management route but we will definitely use those features in the future. Pros We were able to embed the results from individual questions onto websites. This is a unique feature that is extremely helpful to us. While we had some technical troubles implementing that at one point, support was very responsive so that we could get it up and running. Cons We really didn't have any particular issues or missing feature concerns. Customer service is very quick. Pros We needed a robust survey and research tool that could help us develop some longitudinal surveys. Many similar products were easy to use, but too simple for our needs. QuestionPro really offered a wealth of tools that we have found helpful. For professionals! Cons There are times when I wish we could aggragate the summary reports differently. Cons The menu for customizing which email addresses are notified when a specific survey receives responses could be easier to find.
