Pros The folks at QuestionPro seem to value non-profits. We chose to use QuestionPro because of the amount of features we could get through their non-profit pricing. Because of QuestionPro, we've been able to collect valuable information about our programs. The analytics and reports have been very helpful for our quarterly and annual grant reports. I can quickly (5 minutes or less) pull any results and get the numbers and charts, these can then be added right into our reports. Cons Moving questions around and the question logic are a little clunky. It's too easy to make question logic mistakes, which affects the questions shown on our surveys. It is a very powerful tool for conducting online surveys and collection information from our wider communities. Pros It's Non-profit version enables many pro functions. You can use it to run very complex and interactive surveys. You can also easily edit and share the at hoc result with others with visualised data outputs. Cons The Non-profit account needs renewal annually and there is no notification to remind you about that. April 29, 2022 5.0 We work with and for people who have intellectual/developmental disabilities. The tool has many wonderful features that we've been able to take advantage of to make the resources we create with it more use-friendly, especially for those who don't read, or don't read fluently. We create video voice overs of our surveys, which we host on on YouTube channel. The ability to add those to the items we create is a game-changer for us! Pros The price is definitely a plus. We first heard about QuestionPro through the non-profit resource TechSoup.org. We'd been using a different survey tool at the time, which was more expensive and didn't have nearly as many features. Cons We haven't used any of the additional features due to pricing. Allowing a 2nd staff members to access our organization's account would also be cost-prohibitive, but as a small organization, I am really the only full-time user, so we deal with it. We use it as a tool for receiving requests and outsourcing the collection of data which otherwise would have required us to hire many staff. Pros The pros: powerful, easy to use, comprehensive, and centralized Cons The cons: the nonprofit pricing does not include multiple users. Also, re-using questions and building a central db of questions is not user friendly. The functionality is there but is not intuitive for users.Lastly, we would have loved for QP to be able to read from our database or Google sheets when people use it, for example populating a dropdown on the fly -- but to my knowledge no similar software does this at the moment. There are no downsides we have experienced in 5+ years of using QuestionPro. Without collecting annual member satisfaction surveys, it is hard to tell what our organization is doing well and what still needs to be improved. It is very simply to build them. You can also copy them. So if you have a yearly survey and want to alter just a few things from year to year, you simply copy it, change the new version after renaming it, and you are ready to use it!Also, the customer service is really wonderful. Help is a chat away! January 2, 2021 5.0 Pros QuestionPro is our favorite tool for conducting online surveys. Getting started with QuestionPro is very easy and doesn't require much technical skills. QuestionPro has a very simple and easy to understand user interface in which all the tools are very well placed. It doesn't take much time to setup a basic survey with a Welcome and Thank You page. To make the surveys look more professional, we can customize every page with the features available in QuestionPro. We can add Multiple Choices to the questions in our survey. We have an option to add images that can be chosen as 'answer' to a question in our survey. We can also use various Graphical Ratings to add ratings like Thumbs Up or Down, Smiley Ratings and Star Ratings. To make the survey look even more professional, we can fill it with widgets like Maps, Date and Time etc. We can also add time limits to our survey by adding a Timer. Another best thing about QuestionPro is that we can do Survey Analysis which helps in analyzing data like survey taker's location, interest and the Time and Date when they started answering the survey. Cons QuestionPro is so far the best survey tool for us but they should do something about the pricing. Some necessary features are exclusive to its Paid version which is a little bit costlier. We have found its features in terms of question types, branching, skip logic, reporting, etc. very robust and also easy to use. They offer a wealth of question types the really open up the possibilities in terms of survey question types and also application options (i.e., submitting files). Would highly recommend. Cons QuestionPro could improve upon its dashboard options for reporting results internally. It would be nice, for example, to more easily be able to slice the data by demographic question responses (it's possible but not user friendly enough for not technical team members to use). It's flexibility allowed us to meet multiple needs within the same platform, such as deploying timed tests with one-time access keys, as well as standard survey requirements. Pros Feature rich, we are able to use QuestionPro to solve multiple problems within the same platform, including the obvious surveys, as well as branching surveys, adding interactive form elements and deploying timed online tests. The analytics are also well constructed and saved many hours that we would otherwise have spend on visualising and interrogating those exported data using spreadsheet/ statistical software. Cons The density of features requires more set-up time to deploy. Our attempts to use other survey platforms to meet our needs were unsuccessful. QuestionPro meets every one of our needs, on top of being incredibly economical! Cons The only thing I dislike is having to annually renew without being reminded to do so. If I don't log into the platform on time, then our account is temporarily closed. I would prefer to receive an email or some other proactive notification to renew. I compare it with Qualtrics that I was using for 8 years and I can definitely tell it's way below when it comes to reliability, overall efficiency and user experience. Whenever I try to work on QuestionPro, I never know if I'm able to login, if the system doesn't crash or if respondents are able to fill in the study. I submit requests to client support at least a couple of times per month. Pros Nothing - while the product has a lot of potential (I can see lots of smart solutions and ideas), the low stability, low efficiency, and countless bugs kill it all. Cons Very low efficiency, very low reliability, many bugs. I've been using QuestionPro for 9 months now and I can count many issues: not possible to login, not possible to upload databases, bugs not allowing respondents to close the study, the system does not allow to perform multiple tasks at once. This includes surveying our clients satisfaction (>55,000 people); using it to track the results of healthcare facilities that we inspect; public opinion polls; we also use it to get feedback from the physicians in our system. So far QuestionPro has allowed us to acquire/capture important data that is positively impacting the healthcare system in the country ---- which is unprecedented here. The team is excellent, and for them the sky isn't even the limit. If there is something you need the system to do that may not be a core function, they will not only show you options, work-arounds if necessary, but also customize features so that at the end of the day, the system does everything you need. If you have any manner of survey or data collection that needs to be done, and done efficiently and effectively, QuestionPro is all that you need. Pros The technical and customer support is unsurpassed. You can live chat, email, and/or call the support team and get rapid, thorough responses and assistance. They are incredible. Although the system has complex scripts and features (which means the system does ALL the work for you), the system is still extremely user-friendly. Data analytics and reporting is a breeze. QuestionPro is very versatile, and continue to progress and be innovative. The system is designed with the end-user (administrators and survey takers) in mind. Cons Sometimes I've had a challenge of creating branding to align with our organization or how to visually design/arrange the information to create a more customized/sleek appearance. However, that hasn't impacted the functionality of the surveys for our audience. I haven't figured out if/how to run more complicated data analytics or reports with the data gleaned from the surveys also.
