Our overall experience has been very good. For the types of surveys we do as local government, we have been able to meet our needs with the 'non-profit' license just fine.

Pros

We get nearly everything the software offers on our non-profit account. Support has traditionally been very responsive for us!

Cons

There are just a few limitations with the non-profit account, but they are mostly things we rarely need anyway. We recently stumbled upon a limitation that left us baffled: some complex questions aren't included in the analytics dashboard. But there isn't even a list of them to refer to ahead of time. Also, limited to just one person that can use it.

Reason for choosing QuestionPro

With very limited budget, we chose it due to its pricing tier at the time and later discovered the wonderful, non-profit license.

Pros

QuestionPro is easy to use and allows for complex questionnaires to be designed in minutes. The analysis functions are intuitive and can be used without any underlying knowledge of statistics or quantitative research methods. Despite this it is possible to carry out complex and robust surveys. The export data function is simple to use and allows for data to be exported in a number of different formats.

Cons

Sometimes when you log in the software claims that you are already logged in elsewhere and refuses you access. This is a very minor gripe but can get annoying when you are under time pressure.

Nothing - it's my favorite software we interact with... The ONLY way it could be easier is if it entered the data we use it to gather into my internal dashboard for me!

### "Question Pro: The way to more transparency"

Pros

We are a small, non-profit organization that is very interested in making the impact of its own work visible. Three years ago, we decided to implement this with software and chose Question Pro to try it out. Question Pro really impressed us. In the first few years, we only used the tool occasionally to test whether it had any added value for us. Today, we have reached a point where we use the tool much more regularly. From individual reviews of seminars to long-term studies, we try to analyze our work in the short and long term. The tool fits perfectly into our day-to-day work, creating a survey doesn't take much time and the analysis takes place as soon as we receive a response. We are very impressed and hope to continue using the program!

Cons

Creating the questionnaires is almost self-explanatory. The distribution, on the other hand, took some time. However, this is absolutely fine and did not detract from the positive impression.

I would recommend this product to any nonprofit who needs to collect data on a regular basic. But know that sometimes it has more functionality than you might need for basic surveys which can be somewhat intimidating.

Pros

We started using QuestionPro as it was a free alternative for surveying learners after educational programing. It has been relatively easy to use and as a small nonprofit, it has been nice to have a free platform with so much capability.

Cons

This program seems incredibly robust and able to handle complicated surveys and data collecting. Sometimes it is a little too smart and full of features for our needs. I wish it were a little more user friendly or had a more "basic" platform option. But can't argue with the price!

We are able to quickly gauge the opinions and reactions of our customer base. Allowing them to provide feedback to what we are doing allows us to make course corrections quickly moving forward. The survey's attractive look, ease of use and reporting options allows a good deal of feedback for us.

Pros

The software is easy to learn and use. It is extremely logical in its presentation, layout and survey implementation. The are many types of questions to select and they are easily custom modifiable. Because survey construction is so easy and quick, one can conduct trial and error tests quickly to refine surveys. The look of the various screens and attractive and pleasant to view and work with. The analytical tools are extremely comprehensive. The reports are meaningful and professional looking.

Cons

There is some learning to be done to master some of the features. Thus, there is a bit of trial and error to experience all the analyses and reporting available to the researcher. Also, the addition of new features (a good thing) may take some to time to get up to speed.

It has been great. They do make you jump through a couple hoops each year but, in the grand scheme of things, very minimal.

Pros

QuestionPro is great software for what we need. We initially got it because we wanted something that could run offline and on tablets and then be synced at a later time. We ended up not using that use case but have continued to use it for our intake form. It is great because it is very easy to customize question and add and format as necessary. It is a little bit of overkill for what we need but we'll take it. Since we're a non-profit, they offer a price that cannot be beat (FREE - with a little work). There are a lot of great software products that we could use but don't because they cost a lot and we don't have the manpower to properly utilize them. QuestionPro realizes this and provides non-profits their software for free (like Google does). Truly trying to help the charitable community!

Cons

For what we use it for, there is nothing that I really dislike. I would say it may be a little complicated for our needs. It is also a little industrial as opposed to some other solutions that are more consumer centric. But those a far outweighed by the features and value of the product.

The software has allowed us to see areas where our product can be improved which has resulted in better support of our clients. It has also allowed us to prepare reports for the accreditation authorities who approve our ongoing capacity to effectively evaluate student achievement in the (Non Profit) school's who use our certification process.

Pros

Met our requirements and the Advanced version is free for Non Profits (normally over $!000 pa). Particular features we were looking for were not available with the Basic version which is free for all users. These features include Multilingual Surveys and enhanced support. Many other features are available in the Advanced version which we anticipate making more use of in the future.

Cons

It was quite a learning curve to use for someone unused to doing surveys (previously another person had done them but using a different product). Some areas seem a bit clunky, but this may be par for the course with survey software. Everything seems to work when you get used to it.

Extremely positive. Customer service is brilliant and very responsive, and the platform itself is reliable, attractive, and extensive in terms of functionality.

Pros

We feel extremely lucky to have access to QuestionPro on a non-profit waiver, which means we have amazing functionality for no cost. For a charity, this means so much to us. It enables us to quickly and easily seek the opinions and input of a wide range of audiences - including our beneficiaries and stakeholders - customising our surveys to ensure they are relevant. We also find the analytics functionality very helpful.

Cons

The only thing we would have loved to see is the ability to compare two data sets side by side, but appreciate that's not really the point of the platform.

### "Been a Very Satisfied Customer for over 5 Years! "

We used another Survey company for a decade before our needs outgrew it. I wish I could tell you we evaluated several different companies before selecting Question Pro, but we did not. As soon as we came across Question Pro and tested it out, we knew it was right for us. We don't use Question Pro to gather external information from Customers. We use it to capture internal information from our Managers and Employees and get that information to the appropriate people at the appropriate time. Some examples of how we have leverage Question Pro: (1) to gather employee satisfaction data; (2) to gather HR information from employees who request Leave or want to communicate concerns; (3) to provide trainees the opportunity to give feedback on their onboarding & training experiences; and (4) to communicate payroll adjustments directly to the payroll team. The Customer Service Reps we have worked with have been excellent and able to help us when needed. The Live Chat function has also been valuable when we needed a quick answer.

Pros

1\. The Customer Service has been outstanding - whether directly with my rep or through the Live Chat. 2. The ease at which Survey's can be created / copied. 3. The system is user-friendly enough that we have been able to figure out how to perform many advanced functions on our own. 4. The flexibility of being able to send the survey in many different ways - i.e. via a link, to a specific email list or using a QR Code. 5. Advanced Logic and Branching allows us to link surveys based on answers and ensure the completed information gets into the hands of the right people at the right times. 6. The ability to schedule auto-run reports.

Cons

1\. Having to pay full price for each user account is a bit prohibitive and would ultimately be the only reason we would ever consider a new system. However, we were able to lock in a rate for 2 years the last time we renewed by signing up for 2 years. 2. The lack of flexibility in formatting the Excel Reports - too many columns show on the reports by default and we can't remove those columns we don't need.

Pros

We have been using QuestionPro as an agency for over 4 years now. It is an easy to use survey builder and analyzer that makes it easy to learn and create surveys for all needs and uses. However, once you dig deeper into the software there are many options to use the more powerful and complex capabilities. Making complex surveys and expanding analysis and just a few things we regularly use.

Cons

Sometimes we would like to use it to be able to schedule an appointment for one of our events through the survey.

The most helpful feature of QuestionPro is the ability to customize. We use this tool in various areas of our organization and having the ability to customize to a particular need is helpful to ensure we are getting the data we need. Customizing is easy and integrating this tool within our organization was easy. Our entire team uses QuestionPro to simply process and support multiple projects.

Cons

Integration with our existing business was not a difficult process and we have been using QuestionPro for about one year. Within that year we have used it monthly to support various projects and processes within our organization. Perhaps with more use, we could identify what we like least or identify an area for improvement.

Using QuestionPro saves us money over using more expensive event management tools. We use meeting registration surveys for our event registrations. We can then use the data responses to export attendee lists to create name tags with mailmerge in Word. We then can follow-up with post-event surveys, as well as annual planning surveys to help us plan our programs.

Pros

I like how QuestionPro allows you to customize its forms and surveys. Our volunteer-led professional organization uses it for meeting registrations and post-event surveys. It allows us to include our logo, and with the skip-logic, we can customize a registration form based on how people answer, so members can enter their member number and non-members won't see that option. We can also customize what happens when the form is complete, such as sending people to our PayPal page to pay for their meeting registration. While it's not integrated with PayPal, it may appear that way to our users so we can collect payment right after they register for an event. QuestionPro support has also been extremely helpful and responds quickly to questions on our account.

Cons

While QuestionPro is not a comprehensive solution to event management (and doesn't claim to be), the product works well for our organization. It took a little getting used to with all the functions and options available, but not much to complain about overall.

Pros

At the height of the pandemic in 2020, the ECML, in cooperation with a network of international partners (INGOs), designed a survey using QuestionPro to look at how the Covid emergency and the accompanying lockdowns and move to online/hybrid teaching formats had impacted upon education (and specifically language education) in Europe. The in-depth survey, taking approximately 30 minutes to complete, received 1,750 responses from language teachers in 40 states. We were most impressed by the user friendliness of the application and functionality it offered. The survey which used two working languages, included discrete, multiple-choice and open text items, provided a wealth of data (among others, eliciting some 4,150 detailed comments which were then analysed using critical discourse methods). The high quality of the reports generated by QuestionPro and the ease with which the data gathered could be processed proved very important to the overall success of the survey. It led to a subsequent project which extended the target group to language learners and policy makers – ultimately enabling the ECML to identify key lessons that could be drawn for the future and to develop and publish a set of policy guidelines on supporting the development of language education.

Pros

QuestionPro is easy to use yet powerful and feature-rich. The non-profit license is a huge plus for us but was not a driver in making the decision to switch to QuestionPro

Cons

It would be helpful to allow more than 1 user with the non-profit license but that is not a major drawback given the quality of the software.
