This software has streamlined all the security duties into on device with a standard line of reporting with the same attributes across the platform by enabling the forms to work amongst one another.

Pros

As we have come full circle to the new wave of technology the Silvertrac software has applications that have been of great need and use in the security field. the information that is captured has streamed lined and assisted the staff in gathering accurate information and complete reports at their fingertips.

Cons

At this point the setup is easy with the help of customer service.

The SilverTrac software provides great insight into several niche areas. If you need to monitor any and all basic functions that occur within a building or on a property this software will help you in multiple ways. As a private security provider our company truly utilizes only half of this software, but we are able to track guard rounds, notify of any issues, produce reports, and track problem areas all with the click of a few buttons. The software is so easy to use we have some guards who use English as a second language and with a few minutes of training have no issues creating reports and tracking their rounds. The customer service and support personnel are top notch. As we have moved into multiple markets with this product I have always received support in trying new things, stretching the software, and applying it in new ways. If there is ever an issue or a question it is quickly resolved. The few cons that have come up in our use of SilverTrac is the lack of real time GPS and the ability to create geofences of the properties. This software also does not allow you to create "forms" within it. If a supervisor wants to complete a guard evaluation it is not always easy or "reportable" because they have to be entered as "Issues" with some limitations on the reportable fields to be entered.

I wish some issue types can be customized for users to add fields and create custom forms.

Pros

The thing I like best about this software is my clients love it. It is also easy for our guards to use

Nothing so far. The customer service goes above and beyond. Gregg is great to us and he takes his time explaning things about the software to use.

Pros

This app is very easy to sign up for and they have good functions but they'll never let you out they will continuously charge you even after you've made multiple attempts to cancel. I do not want the service anymore Please stop taking money out of my account

Cons

I can't cancel you guys even though it says cancel anytime if I needed you in the future I will be very reluctant to sign back up knowing that I will get charged multiple months after the request has been made and confirmed.

Better accountability.

Pros

It gives our client peace of mind knowing that our staff is doing what they hired us to do. I like various features of the software and the ability to run numerous reports. The GPS feature is great, along with the ability to create issue types which are relevant to each site.

Cons

I wish it were a little more flexible. There are various points in the software that could run more smoothly if we were able make small adjustments. When I contacted customer service I was told "no we can't do that". It seemed like an easy fix and it would have really helped me out. I don't recall what the issue was at this moment though.

The problems I find that are solved by using silver track is the fact that we are easily able to determine are service deliverables and in this way able to deliver a more quality service

Easy and simple reporting and monitoring.

Pros

Easy to use and train guards on. The live updates on the website for monitoring. The customer service and improvements they are always making.

Cons

No constant GPS monitoring while the guards are on duty to ensure they are on site during the assigned shift.

Very helpful support team although I've had to use them very little because they outline the setup via helpful videos on their site so I basically got all set up on my own.

Pros

We've used other guard patrol software in the past and Silvertrac is by far the most comprehensive and easy to use system out there - from a staff and management perspective.

Cons

It is my hope that one day you'd be able to request one license at a time rather than 10 at a time. Otherwise, no complaints.

We have stopped using paper reports and were able to get rid of many file cabinets in the office freeing up space for another office for a supervisor.

Since my company adopted the Silvertrac platform we have noticed our clients happy with the automatic reports and love that they can see how the properties look to others. They also love how it digital and can be accessed virtually anytime and anywhere. However with all good there is some bad or areas to work on, in case of service failure I wish that Silvertrac provided paper copies of a generic report that each individual company could print out and put at individual sites just as a contingency plan.

Pros

Silvertrac provides ease in the ever changing security world! Providing 100% transparency to your clients , and given 24 hr access is an extra step for clients to feel satisfied and not in the dark.

Cons

The only complaint I have about the software would be the lack of updates for apple products, the android platforms seem to have all the fun!

This product is essential for many properties we patrol.

Pros

Easy to use, and the support staff is incredible. It is very user friendly everyone that can operate a smart phone can operate silvertrac.

Cons

Some small stuff need to be changed like the way that guard selects the security issue types. There also should be a way that I can write the address on the checkpoint report for the property.
