I also like the screenshots taken at intervals cause they provide evidence that may not be noted otherwise by a timer tracker. Cons I wish there is an option to monitor on chromebooks as well. During the pandemic it gave us visibility to user activity and continues to assist us daily in process improvement Pros Activtrak gives management and users the ability to see what they are viewing as well as KPI Reporting to track productivity of users so that evaluations can be made of how to improve a user or particular positions productivity. Cons Inability to import activtrack users. Upgrading to a newer version sometimes loses the continuity for a person. Pros I think the ability to control what each site and program should be classified as (productive or unproductive). Cons I don't think that I can't break up some websites like Facebook. Great product and great value. I would like to see more users for example and using local space for screenshots and reports. As a small business, we were looking for something that was feature rich, however we didn't want to spend a lot at this time. We were able to work with the software and meet all requirements we had. Looking forward to the paid service when we are ready to add more users. The features of the screenshots with the program has been great as sometimes we are not sure what the application is and have used it to share program ideas between staff. Cons I wish that some of the paid features could be used in the free service. I know its a for profit company, but it would be even better to demo for a small company and allow us extended testing as we grow. Pros They allow you to use the software for free on a few different computers to see if you want it before deciding to buy it outright. Cons Absolutely the worst customer service of my life. Forced us to pay for software that was never usable and the attitude from the account rep was snide, they offered no help nor did they offer to help find the value on the product. I would suggest looking anywhere else for a better product/support. Some were job searching while on the clock or simply engaging in personal web surfing and social media when they were supposed to be working. I was only able to confirm this activity after the employee was terminated. Two such experiences in a row convinced me that I needed to be able to monitor employee computer activity in real time so that I could identify these issues and address them before the employee cost us thousands of dollars in lost funding and missed opportunities. Since we are a small nonprofit organization, I needed an affordable solution, one that can be administered without an IT department. ActivTrak has been the perfect solution. Easy to use, simple to administer and feature rich. Pros ActivTrak is very simple to use. It is easy to install and does the job of monitoring productivity effectively. I like the screen shot feature and the ability to easily identify productive versus unproductive sites. ActivTrak also offers a plan for every pocketbook. It is well worth the money to ensure that employees are doing their jobs. Cons There is nothing not to like about ActivTrak. It does everything I need it to do.
