Cons at first, it was quite difficult to configure and get up and running as we had no formal training therefore left to it ourselves. but now we have more skills and understanding this feels like a small gripe in comparison to what the tool is delivering for us. The training goes through on all the important features, and you can learn using it. Pros You don't have to build a whole automation framework by yourself. It can record test activities, and can play it back after. With UiPath you can not only automate websites, but even desktop activities. You can run your automations on several machines, controlled by cloud. Cons For more complex frameworks it's hard to figure out, what does what on the diagram, as you cannot see the whole at once. I's a bit hard to debug issues. You have to pay more for every little feature, but it can be even cheaper, if you use less features. UIPath RPA helped bring in productivity and efficiency gains, helping teams deliver higher quality work to clients, and in case many cases overshooting client expectations. Pros We implemented UIPath (with integration with other AI/ML tools) to help automate data extraction and population of our excel based financial models. As a user, I loved how the entire process of scraping through earnings releases and reports for data and inputting it into excel (which normally would take hours at a minimum) was reduced to a matter of minutes resulting in enormous time savings especially during the quarterly results (aka busy) season helping reduce our turnaround time in producing high quality reports for our clients. Cons I felt the only shortcoming was that the inputs in models weren't a 100% correct. There would be instances when data to be picked was hidden in a paragraphs in footnotes which would make it difficult to be identified.
