Pros Process.st has allowed me to create learning modules for students in my online program, embedding files and videos where they need them. I was able to create step by step processes that are easy for them to follow. I have also used it to document my internal processes, which simplifies repetitive tasks and onboarding of new employees. I highly recommend it! Cons Users need to save their link to return to their work, and I've had to teach people how to do that/where to keep those links. Set up separate process for separate matters and then your staff can do what needs to be done in the manner and style you need. Process Street makes it dead simple to upload videos and you get them transcoded right away. The UI makes is awesome for us to use it and consume content quickly. Pros \- Easy to use: Very simple interface. Easy to get started adding files and organizing content. - Free (unlimited) video uploads: Not really sure the setup on this, but my free account seems to have video storage+usage for free, for an unlimited number. - Great for courses: The interface is wonderful for creating a database of internal/public courses. Cons \- Basic uploading options: Drag and drop is fine, but I would've loved to see something more advanced, like automatic upload scheduling. - (Too) simple organization systems: I haven't seen any tagging options. Users were not always diligent about marking their tasks off as complete, so dependent tasks could be problematic. Other than that, straightforward, quick implementation. Pros Easy to create lists and has nice features for customizing processes within each list. Drag and drop functionality is helpful. Cons Assigning individual steps to a person then editing that when there is staff turnover is very cumbersome, especially when you have a lot of lists. There should be a transfer tasks feature where you enter a person's name and it pulls up all assigned tasks in templates, then have ability to either transfer all task to another user or deselect some so that just remaining are transferred to a different user automatically. Pros Sometimes, keeping things ultra simple makes for the most effective processes. This is what we wanted and could easily describe our processes in Process Street in a way that any user without any special training could pick up quickly. Everyone understands checklists. Cons The UI for setting up processes and editing steps can be a bit quirky/unintuitive - but once you figure it out once - you can get past it. Last time I checked, there is no mobile app - though it does have a mobile friendly website (at time of writing this review). June 22, 2016 5.0 My role & organization is nothing if not process-driven. Before Process Street, all of our processes were written out in Google Docs. This approach can work for very small businesses, but for growth-stage startups, it's just not extensible enough. The other end of the spectrum is sophisticated BPM tools which are absolutely overkill. Process Street fits perfectly in the middle, allowing me to rapidly draft new processes, perfect them through easy and flexible editing, and share them out to my team as needed. I keep myself on track with regularly scheduled recurring checklists. I couldn't do it without Process Street! I'd highly recommend it when managing remote staff to ensure things are done properly. Cons It's not the most intuitive (why can't I drag and drop my processes/folders?) software and I wish it was more flexible with certain things (like being able to copy individuals steps to other processes), but overall it's the best tool for process management we've found. Pros It is possible to create different templates. Also, it has some already prepared templates such as ''employee on-boarding'' and etc. It is possible to invite other users and ''guests'' to work with the template as well. It has some very great integrations. Cons The content looks messy. For us, it is difficult to find the prepared templates. The second big thing is the notification e-mails. While it is possible to turn the notifications via e-mail off, we need to keep it to see how everything is going. It would be useful for them to improve the notification section. Mind Maps with Gnant Charts are fine if you need to get all that complicated, but it you want an easy way to take your people through a process, Process Street is the perfect choice. Pros Being able to build a task list complete with built in tutorials takes all the excuses for not doing the job right, every time, out of the equation. I never thought I would find a system built by people that think about organizing task the same way I do. Cons The only feature Process Street doesn't have that would put it over the top for me is the ability to export Task Lists (Which for all intent and purposes are Process Maps), so other Process Street users could import them. Pros Allows us to build processes, adapt them quickly and delegate them to different team members. Crucially by building written processes we are building a contingency plan, that means we are able to adapt should a specific person who manages a process, go mia for any reason.
