The program is straightforward and easy to use. After getting everything set up and spending some time becoming familiar with the system, it has become a seamless part of our operations. We have been using it for nearly a year now, and it has proven to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for managing our processes. Pros We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits. We manage a large inventory, and MRPeasy has been a great tool for tracking inventory, generating purchase orders and invoices for both suppliers and customers, and managing the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished kits. We also use QuickBooks for our bookkeeping, and all invoice information transfers automatically from MRPeasy into QuickBooks. In addition, as we were setting up, customer support was readily available to answer questions. Cons For cons, this is less about MRPeasy and more about QuickBooks. When we receive payment and close out an invoice in MRPeasy, it automatically transfers to QuickBooks, which works well. However, if the payment is deposited in our bank first and we close out the invoice in MRPeasy a day later, QuickBooks has often already generated an invoice to match the deposit. This can result in duplicate invoices in QuickBooks and requires some cleanup. It is a bit frustrating, but to be clear, this is not an issue with MRPeasy. And the price is good - we moved from something that looked a little nicer, but essentially did the same thing. Happy customers. Cons It uses a system where, to access further parts of an order details - say adding a payment - you need to create an invoice. In doing so, the page refreshes and extra parts appear. This seems logical but modern gui's dont usually work this way. Once we understood that, it was plain sailing. However, MRPeasy comes close and does a very commendable job in making our company better in terms of inventory, production and so forth. We have found that it ticks all our boxes and is fabulous value for money. Pros For a small company, having a tool that is not only great value for money, but also simple to use, easy to understand, learn and implement has been a huge plus. With only a few employees, we have to make sure that the inventory management systems we use can be implemented quickly and efficiently and MRPeasy ticks all those boxes. Cons We sub-contract our hot works to a third party who works within our building, and so trying to integrate this to the system is a little challenging at first, but we have found a work around. I have already recommended this to many small business. Great visibility to cost structure, efficiency in production. Nothing but good things. I have used SAP Business 1 Manufacturing module and Netsuite, I love MRPEasy way better. Cons Lack of controls, not a big issue for small business. Template design flexibility. Returns and Credit management is bit tricky. You have to integrate with QB or an accounting software. I use this only for manufacturing and traceability.
