From a user perspective it seems the program works very well, from invoicing and the app. No complaints just many other parents telling us they wish their school had the same!

Pros

I was absolutely delighted to discover the HiMama app when my eldest started nursery. We now use it for both of our daughters. We love following their days and getting updates from her teachers. It’s been so reassuring as a parent. We added her grandparents who live across the globe and they love feeling like they are there with them.

Cons

There have been some errors in past invoices but as we are just on the receiving end it’s hard for us to know if this is a software glitch or human error. That said they were very quickly resolved!

Overall really enjoy the app and the way it lets me feel connected to my little one while I’m working.

Pros

Great way to stay connected to my child while I’m working. Easy to communicate quickly with teachers.

Cons

The name is gendered. When viewing a picture if you click it to zoom in and try to slide to a different part of the picture it scrolls to the next photo or freezes.

Essentially a great tool for a day to day work, with many great options. Tremendous help with customer relations.

Pros

Very easy to use, has relevant information and well - regarded by our clients. Initial scepticism was over done features presenting info in a simplified form, but it turned out to be a great idea-to simplify presentation of data.

Cons

Took some time to learn the product, but once gotten used to- great to have software. Other than learning curve we didn't see many points that would be detrimental in value.

As a mom of two little girls in daycare, I like many mothers struggled with separation anxiety when it came time to leaving my daughters to go back to work. For my first daughter, I dropped her off and immediately became emotional knowing I wouldn’t see her face all day, until our provider explained to us himama. The app is absolutely amazing, the inventor and investors are amazing; thank you for creating and marketing such a phenomenal app. I love so many things about this app, being able communicate with our center during the day, seeing their smiling faces as they play and learn makes me feel like I am not missing the whole day with them. I love that I can see progress of their daily routine; foods they eat throughout the day, or potty training and diaper changes. I like knowing every detail of my girls day when I cannot be with them. Thank you HiMama for giving me piece of mind during my work day it makes it go by a little faster!

Pros

The interaction I can have with the daycare.

Cons

I don’t think I have found anything that I don’t like about this product.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using HiMama through my daughters school. Staff update the app frequently and allow me to know how my child’s day is going while I am at work.

Pros

HiMama is extremely easy to use and allows parents to get insight on their child’s day to day activities while they’re at school or daycare. I enjoy staying informed about meal and nap times, as well as the adorable picture updates throughout my workday!

Cons

The check in process does involve quite a few clicks. This is the only real “complaint” I have about the app.

Having an effective childcare management system to keep records, record payments, capture the lives of children & teachers have been a blessing and especially beneficial to anyone involved in childcare centers. This is the best thing since sliced bread.

Pros

This software makes life in childcare centers so much easier and efficient. This software makes the lives of teachers and administrative staff EASY while trying to capture day to day activities that children are involved in. What I like most about the software is that the activities are instantly recorded for parents to share in the experience of their little ones.

Cons

The software is kind of expensive and took a while to really perfect use of it. If you're really going to get more bang for your buck, you have got to do a good job at keeping really good records. If you don't put your data into the system, you're subject to miss something.

Pros

It allows you to keep track of your child's daily activities and keep track of there allergies, when shots are do.

Cons

The price could be cheaper. Other then that maybe better instructions on registration.

It’s a very efficient App for any parent on the go. The ease of being able to communicate with the child’s caregiver is very helpful.

Pros

I love the functionality to be able to communicate with the caregiver directly through the App. It’s efficient in that I don’t have to exit out of the App to write a note or email. I love the fact that the pictures can be downloaded as well which is a nice option to have.

Cons

I would like the functionality of being able to download the video content! Another functionality would be if the parents contact info could be provided through the app to schedule play dates etc. last functionality would be to be able to forward a cute video or picture to a fellow parent in the class.

It has been a very easy switch to HiMama. Staff was extremely helpful in the transition from the very first conversation and we couldn't be happier with the switch!

Pros

I love how user friendly the software is. We are able to input children's information with an easy click of a button and not have to spend lots of time updating each child. The quality and look of the daily reports are fantastic and parent's love the real time updates on their children during the day.

Cons

I would love to have a notification of parent messages when on the computer, right now i don't see those as easily unless I am on the dashboard. I would also like to see a function where administrators can approve pictures and videos before they are sent to the parents.

Pros

I really Like that i can view daily report for Neel and get to know what all actives he has done today and also can see what he had for breakfast and lunch today. So i can Plan his dinner accordingly. I like seeing \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] Picture from class everyday.

Pros

The tabs at the bottom are convenient. I like that the feed has all my kids on it.

Cons

It is a little tedious to scroll through just for pictures/videos of kids. Also the app seems to take a while to load and to load more past posts when you click “more” at the bottom. Signing kids in and out also takes a lot of clicking. I have thee kids and it would be easier if I could sign for all of them on one screen.

Their were issues of not finding all the domains pertaining to school age children

Pros

Able to communicate, upload and share images with families. Makes observations simple and quick to complete, especially when it’s the same comments for multiple children. Administration can easily access and monitor all rooms and all communication Easily and efficiently.

Cons

Using it for staffing hours was a challenge since it records real time and it was dependent on the administrator to edit changes only and I found I had to verify staffing hours daily. Children’s attendance- ministry still wants to see hard copy and printing the attendance from HiMama would be too many pages since record shows all the check in and out times daily.

Reason for choosing Lillio

HiMama has been around longer and other centers at the presentation had positive comments on the program.

Pros

You can use this app like a administraton or student (boys or girls). This app is like other similar app for take online lessons but this app is enfocated in the childrens and I love it. My cousin use this app and he told me that is funny and easy of use.

Cons

The app sometimes is a little slowly but I thing is that the app doesn't have all the support of the people. Personally I thing this app only need more users.

I wish the meals option had an autocorrect and that it forced you to submit each update as you type it. Parents enjoy seeing their children’s activity in real time and if some teachers do not have to submit the report right away it can upset parents. I also wish that the app were more complete, allowing parents and teachers to use it to check in the child, make payments, see history of drop offs and pick ups, announce closures

I like that I can communicate with their caregivers whenever I may need to and the quick response time I have received upon doing so. In a world where safety and health are top priorities these days, HiMama allows you to have that peace of mind necessary.

Pros

HiMama keeps first-time or worried parents updated on the status of their child while they are in daycare. You can see what they are doing, eating, how long they slept, and even get pictures to brighten up your day. I love being able to track what my child is doing while I am working, without having to worry about whether or not he is happy or being taken care of properly.

Cons

Sometimes I would like to save the pictures that have been sent to me of my child but that is not possible through the App and I have had to request by email a copy of that photograph. Maybe you guys could update this feature in the future?

Without HiMama, I feel like I would be worrying or wondering about my kids at school, and with HiMama I don't have to! The teachers use it really well and it keeps everyone informed.

Pros

I like that it's fairly easy to navigate and you get updates of needs for your children, closings, daily feedback, etc. As a parent, it keeps your mind at ease knowing everything is readily communicated to you while you're away from your child!

Cons

I don't see many cons with this software. I would maybe make things a little more aesthetically pleasing to the eye as far as design goes in utilizing the app.
