Pros The application features were easy for my staff to comprehend and use throughout the day. This was something the felt comfortable with. Cons The customer service and billing was terrible. My business didn’t feel valued when they made mistakes. It took a months to fix including receiving money that was owed to me. It has dedicated sections for daily photos, nap time, and meal updates. From what I’ve heard, it’s also user-friendly for educators. Pros It is a user friendly app designed with keeping educators and parents in mind. Real-time updates, photos, and messaging help parents stay connected with their child’s day. It was a good first experience, but as we began to grow, we wanted a tool that was a bit more buttoned up as we sought certification for the Academy. Pros Lillio made it easy for our staff to log activities for each child, helping our moms know what their children were doing and how they were growing each day. Cons Lillio's UI was ok, but not the best. It was certainly better than some of the other tools we looked at, but we wanted the most intuitive interface for our staff who in this role are a bit technically novice and for our moms, many of whom grapple with technology as well. We also navigated issues with keeping our contacts up to date. We live primarily in Salesforce and got to a point where we needed to do weekly imports and updates and it was not particularly easy with HiMama. It makes it easy to communicate and receive notifications from our dayhome, and also gives me peace of mind that my children are being taken care of. Pros I like that I quickly receive information about my child at daycare, and have a simple way to communicate with the caregiver. Cons The app is quite slow to load, especially when viewing video files that have been posted. Having multiple children at a location is also more difficult to manage than it needs to be. The messaging section to interact with the teacher for status and interactions is a cool thing. The application is easy to use and self explanatory and very intuitive. Cons The message notifications sync is delayed at times and will receive the messages off late. Any issues raised by the caregivers can reach me in a short span of time and thus solutions are found instantly. Pros The app is quite helpful to both parents and school caregivers as we are able to constantly monitor our children's milestones. With the app as a parent i'm notified of any absurd this with my toddler in a timely manner. The app has also made activity scheduling in the daycare quite easy and manageable. The real time photo sharing features keeps me updated on my child's progress the entire day at school thus cutting down on anxiety. Cons The messaging feature is a bit unreliable could be I'm the only one experiencing this since I do not get notification as to whether the care giver has received my message. Pros For me the ease of application & quick access are the most attractive features in Hi Mama. Without having to spend a lot of time up dating each child , we can easily submit or receive their information by clicking a button. The daily reports are excellent in quality and presentation. This wonderful app provide the ease of access and real time up dates of their kids with pictures and lesson through out the day. Parent Portal stood out standing for its exceptional conduct by offering the ease and efficiency together for its consumers. Cons Hi Mama charges a flat $50 per month per class room and the cost increases with the number of class room, if can offer some flex rates or promotion offers, for the price, i think it will be good for the boost of Hi Mama business and clients. It honestly feels like you're watching over your child like a guardian but from work.
