After a few attempts to clearly explain my concerns in the past, communicated needs were met without disappointment. Pros Whether we have two or ten employees, Buddy Bunch's Time Tracking, Vacation/ Leave Tracking, and Analytics features are most helpful with bi-weekly payroll. Buddy Punch has never failed to assist me with those annoying payroll problems that interrupt workflow. Cons There are no features that are missing to date. I feel that Buddy Punch integrated well with our current payroll processes; therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Event Specialist Consumer Goods Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great time keeping app" January 23, 2019 5.0 Great app, check in and out with accuracy, keep in contact with supervisors and can submit photos for proof of visit if not using GPS. Pros I am an Event Specialist with Deluvia Inc, they upgraded from emailing and faxing my time sheets in to this system. They are out of state so this is a great way for them to keep up with my time while doing "Road Shows". I arrive at my location, open the app and sign in, my employers do require me to attach photos so I snap a photo of the store front before entering. While there, I setup my samples and take a few photos of my presentation to attach when I clock out. I like that I can see my schedule, even though I already know my Road Shows are 11 days back to back for each demo. It takes out 39 minutes for my lunch and keeps up with my total hours so I can accurately calculate my check. They can leave messages after each shift end set of photos. I have seen a few where they wanted to see different angles or my face more throughout my presentations. I've also been told my samples looked yummy, I left messages and asked questions that were answered. This is a good app to have when your employer is out of your area. Cons The only thing I found odd was I could log in anytime during my employment, but couldn't do so between Road Shows. I wanted to look at my schedules and could gain access to the app. Other than this hiccup, the app works fine. Deluvia gets my time and there are no shortages on my check. As I mentioned before their help is invaluable. Some companies have no chat, or phone number and you wait days to hear back from an email. Their immediate response is something they should never get rid of, no matter how big they become. Pros I love how easy it is to access help on any aspect of using the software. You can do their chat and they respond almost immediately. They will even help fix anything from their end if you need the help. I love the facial recognition feature and other features that are offered to ensure that your staff is on the job site in order to sign in. I like how easy the PTO requesting is for the staff and for admin to approve. It's a little bit of work trying to get all of the PTO hours in for all employees, especially if they work different hours and have different PTO hours, but the team at Buddy Punch are always available to help with questions. That is one of the things I think are most important- the great customer serivce. The accessibility to actual people can help is valuable. Cons I would like to see more options for PTO reporting. I feel that the report for overall PTO has too much info. I would like to see it have an option where you can check off which items you need in the report and then produce the report from what you actually need. It is hard to manage what they offer. This causes me to need to go into each staff account separately to report one by one. Reason for choosing Buddy Punch I don't remember names of others I looked at, but overall Buddy Punch offered something that seemed more simple to use and had the features we needed. The cost was manageable for our company, which is not very big and is a non profit. It's really accessible and it provides helpful information with no stress or strife. Pros I enjoy using Buddy Punch; it's accessible to me as a student and gives me all of my information right up front. I work at the IT Department for my university, and it is only my second or third time filling out a timesheet, and Buddy Punch has all of that information right up front, which is super friendly and helpful. Additionally, they have a very easily accessible BuddyPunch app, which has made it so much easier for me to clock in and clock out, especially when I'm running late to my shift, or I have to leave and run off to a class or another activity right after I clock out. We can use a geofence if employee not punching in at the yard. Can see where they are when they punch in. Has prevented "stealing time". Perfect for our weekly payroll information. Employees clock in early am and late pm and can leave notes when no one in the office. Pros So easy to use. Easy for me as Administrator and employees have no problems, can leave notes and check their own time each week. Cons MINOR - as more information was added to Employee Detail report, sometimes a second sheet prints with a few words. The second sheet is wasted. I was able to learn this system by myself with no training because the system is easy to use and explains itself perfectly. Our district will continue to use this system next year. Pros I love using Buddy Punch because of how simple the system works. You can choose between a quick log on screen or a quick pin code screen. Pros I like how easy it is to use and i can memo when i clock in and out. this allows me to let management know why i am clocking in or out outside of office hours. Cons When you missed clocking in and have to edit your time it does not calculate that adjusted time. it sends a submittal for approval and you have to manually calculate the hours worked until its approved. I honestly like being able to login this way, see my entire week laid out in front of me- I just really like the ease of tracking my hours on Buddy Punch. You can easily see a running total of hours for the week and your daily totals right there from the clock in/out screen! Cons Occasionally some users will not show up on the time off calendar for all users who need access to the calendar. We have not been able to find the setting to change this. When I've encountered any issues or corrections to be made, it is usually handled in a few minutes not days or weeks, and the help features are detailed yet easy to follow, Pros We spent three months trying to get a time clock system launched with a system from a really big company. The customer service was terrible, responses took days, and in the end they could not handle our somewhat complex PTO requirements. We switched to Buddy Punch and were up and running almost immediately. Buddy Punch gives you all the control and flexibility you could ever want. Cons I would still like a phone number to call in a pinch. Reason for choosing Buddy Punch Flexibility, Admin control, and price were the biggest factors. Many products are either tailored to specific market needs like food service or construction, or they are from big companies for which time clocks/time management are a sideshow.
