Overall, my experience with was positive and beneficial for managing staff attendance and time tracking. The platform provided structure and consistency, which helped reduce timekeeping errors and improved accountability across the team. It was especially useful in environments with multiple staff schedules, such as residence life operations, where shifts can vary and coverage is essential. While there were some technical hiccups and a learning curve for new users, the advantages outweighed the drawbacks.

Pros

What I appreciated most about was its user-friendly interface and overall reliability in tracking staff time and attendance. The system made it easy for employees to clock in and out using mobile devices or desktops, which was especially helpful for staff who worked across multiple buildings or shifts. The GPS and location verification features added an extra layer of accountability, ensuring staff were clocking in from approved locations. I also liked the reporting tools, which allowed supervisors to quickly review hours worked, overtime, and patterns of attendance. This streamlined payroll preparation and reduced the need for manual corrections. Overall, Buddy Punch improved organization, accuracy, and transparency within scheduling and time management processes.

Cons

One of the main drawbacks of was occasional technical issues, such as slow loading times or difficulty clocking in during periods of poor internet connectivity. This sometimes caused frustration for staff who needed to clock in quickly, particularly during shift changes or emergency situations. ### "BuddyPunch"

At times, can be very frustrating, with the lack of communication- unless I initiate first. Such as random deposits/deductions from our bank account with no explanation as to what it was for. Missing tax accounts and never figured out or notified us for months- that payments were being withheld- but we had no account set up for withholding- to deposit tax payments in. BuddyPunch was withholding city taxes for months- when I told them we were not responsible to pay into said city from the beginning. I felt like I had to alot of the set up work for BuddyPunch- when we were paying for them to handle payroll- which includes the taxes involved. Now we are stuck with reimbursing employees for taxes that we told BuddyPunch were not supposed to be taken from our employees. I, literally, had to reach out to 2 different local tax agencies to prove that we were not to be paying taxes into Holmesville Ohio.

Pros

live chat option. In the beginning the live chat option was very helpful and I felt like there was always someone there to help me.

Cons

Seems like rep does not fully read question and only responds to half of what my questions are. I have to follow up with another question- because only half of what I asked was answered the first time.

### "Intuitive design, easy to use"

Pros

is intuitively designed. It is not difficult to find what I need. It does everything our small business needs - easy scheduling, tracks earned time off, and clocking in and out is easy for our employees to use.

Cons

My only issue with is that it does not communicate hours with Quickbooks Online very well. I have to manually make edits to overtime because they don't communicate well. We already used Quickbooks online, and I didn't want to change our payroll system to Buddy Punch since this was already established.

High cost...because the cost of increased through the years, we eliminated the scheduling feature and reduced our number of employees to keep the cost more affordable.

### "Useful and easy scheduler. "

Overall, great product, very useful and easy to use. Ease of not having to hand write. Time tracking is helpful for payroll.

Pros

Easy to use from scheduling, time tracking and app usage. Enjoy up to the sec updating once schedule is posted.

Cons

Drag and drop features are a little slow, a larger area for the calander would be helpful and having a way to create templates would be nice.

### "Excellent digital punch system"

I would highly recommend for any manager or business owner looking to simplify scheduling, running payroll and keeping track of employees. I have never had an issue getting my problems resolved with their customer support.

Pros

I found the interface simple and easy to understand. The customer service always was available to help answer my questions. It allows me to have a more accurate payroll with time breaks and exact punch-int/punch out times. I especially enjoy the digital schedule as is it easily accessible via computer or mobile app.

Cons

I find that the mobile app lacks a lot of the feature only available on PC. I hope to see more of those features available on mobile in the future.

I would rate my experience at 9/10 overall. Customer support has been excelent. I believe I'm getting great value for money.

Pros

is feature rich and helps us manage our workforce in a procedural way. I love the scheduling feature, availability feature and how easy it is to manage time tracking.

Cons

There are a few features for localisation I would like to work smoother. For example it's tough to plan in bank holiday's with right payment assessment.

### "A great program for scheduling! "

For the most part it has done what I have needed it to do. It is very self-explanatory. I have been able to figure out most things for myself.

The scheduling and payroll is easy to use. Employee management is nice so I can see the hours staff are putting in.

Cons

Sometimes when people log in and out it doesn't register. We then need to go back in and take the time to fix their hours.

For me, I think it’s easy to use, very accessible, user friendly. Theres not a ton of different screens to go to clock in or out. You just log in and clock in. Simple!!

Pros

I like how accessible it is. I am able to clock in from an app on my phone or at a desktop. So, I don’t have to wait for an open computer; I can clock in on my phone.

Cons

I have used this time clock for a little over two years now and have had no issues. Except, I would like to be able to see my actual paystub instead of my clock in and out times.

My overall experience with was very positive. I felt it was easy to access through my computer or phone (using the app), and it made punching in and punching out convenient. It was a no-hassle process...as long as I remembered to punch in and punch out at the correct times.

Pros

made tracking time this summer through punching in and out daily super easy — I was able to easily clock in from anywhere (my PC or my phone \[through the app\]. It was user-friendly and was easy to access...making it less of a hassle or cause of unnecessary headaches to punch in and punch out each day.

Cons

The only issue that I came across this summer school session with punching in or punching out is that did not provide a way to request a change of time if a punch-in or punch-out was missed. I know that I would not have access to making changes since that was up to my administrator or designee, but to at least request a change would have been more convenient than having to email my administrator/designee separately.

It has been very good. I had a few incidents in which it appeared that I would be unable to correct information that was entered. However, I began the process again and ended up seeing only the second attempt. I'm not sure what happened with the first entry (I did not submit it).

\- Ease of entering data - Time element required to enter data - Smaller boxes that expand with more typing if needed

Cons

\- I believe this was good for me in that I do not have the same "try everything" mentality as many users do. Therefore, the small bumps I ran into were easily fixed with little "try everything" effort.

Nothing, everything is perfect and working accordingly, there are no such tools that this working so great.

I can use the mobile and the web. It's easy to track my time in and out of the office. I can clock in from anywhere.

### "Buddy Punch is the Bomb"

It has been a pleasure using the software. It has decreased by time in processing payroll dramatically.

Pros

is very easy to use and employee friendly for punching in and out. The seemless integration with Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise Edition is best part of all.

Cons

It says this field is required and must have a minimum of 100 characters. I honestly can find nothing that I do not like about

### "Surprisingly easy"

It is a very compact and intuitive app to use. Everything is pretty obvious as to what you need to do and input.

Pros

I have used other scheduling apps and this is by far the most easiest to use. It makes seeing your schedule and putting in vacation requests so very quick.

Cons

I just wish that the app was a bit more similar to the website. The schedule is a bit harder to follow on the app.

i really like using , it's the first platform i use not gonna lie and i like the experience so far.

Pros

What i like the most about is the usage simplicity it's so user friendly other than that it's well organized and helps keeping track of time

Cons

well i don't really see any cons with maybe it could use a customized theme. Like each use could customize there's dashboard manually.

We are very satisfied with and I can unequivocally endorse Buddy Punch for accuracy, ease of use, and helpful people.

Pros

I have been working with payroll time keeping systems for over 35 years. is intuitive for users and it produces usable reports. At my present company, we've found the paid time off feature to be especially helpful. And, biggest plus for me is that the Buddy Punch team has been very easy to work with and most accommodating.

Cons

I have yet to encounter an issue that doesn't have an easy resolution. If there was one thing I'd change it would be to provide a custom report writer.
