Integration was strong and easy. I like the program. Learning was not difficult and the program serves my pickleball community well.

Pros

Client Support is strong, Learning curve is medium. Every time I’ve sent an email to the support staff my return reply comes promptly.

Cons

Punchpass does not allow me to have a membership as an initial gate to my events. I would prefer being able to require a membership in order to get to my events that require an additional payment

Just frustrated with the level of support punchpass offers. Have since looked to moving to MindBody with improved customer service.

Pros

Cheaper than the competitors in the booking market.

Cons

Customer service was very poor. Was blamed for not understanding the software when there were glitches with online payment occuring additional fees. Not a good look blaming customers.

Pros

I like that it's an affordable and user friendly system for my business needs. If I have a question, they have many informational pages for me to explore, and they also get back quickly with questions. I'm glad I found Punchpass.

Cons

There are a lot of steps for some functions. And I wish they interfaced with one of my other partners.

I feel that Punchpass speaks in a language I understand as a yoga and meditation teacher. Any time I use the Help feature I type what I'm thinking and the help appears! It's very intuitive, or it reads my mind. The staff is always helpful, and never judge even when the answer might have been obvious. Punchpass is a kind system, both online and when talking with staff.

Pros

I love that Punchpass integrates easily with Stripe, Zoom, Mailchimp and more! I do not have time to become a tech professional while also teaching meditation and running a small business, so I appreciate that Punchpass handles most daily tasks. I can list every service I offer in one place on Punchpass. The monthly fee is very reasonable given how much time it frees up for me to focus on my content creation and service to the world.

Cons

My clients would like Punchpass to allow booking multiple class reservations all at once, and multiple purchases. Clients should be able to create a shopping cart of sorts for all their purchases.

Reason for choosing Punchpass

I looked at 13 scheduling systems and chose Punchpass in 2020. I was working for a yoga business that used MindBody so I knew I wanted something smaller, more manageable and less expense. Acuity/Squarespace was the 2nd runner up but it was not intuitive for me in my free trial. I considered others but only these 3 stood out as offering online booking, payment integration, Zoom integration and integrating with my Wix website. I really chose Punchpass because you are friendly, fun, kind, and make sense to small business people like me!

I have used Punchpass for over 6 years now! And, my experience has been great. They always put the customer first, answer all of my questions when I can not find them on my own. They literally saved our small yoga studio's business model during Covid by integrating Zoom into the platform for online classes -- before we were locked down. So I got a head start on this critical and invaluable feature. (Including a content library that is an invaluable feature) They are constantly adding new features to make it even better. And, offer excellent workshops to support our use of the platform.I often feel that Punchpass is growing with me, and together our businesses are getting stronger. And, I really do love their customer service! I always feel supported.

Pros

I love the ease of use, the design format and clarity that Punchpass provides to both myself and my customers. But what I really love the most is the customer service which is outstanding!

Cons

Some of the features on Punchpass can be limiting as they are not as flexible as I would like. Such as when you want to supply a discount code, it can't be specified for one pass or another, but applies to all. Same for the membership credits you can not personalize how many, so it is not a feature I can use at this this time. But these are very easy to work around.

I love that Punchpass is a smaller company that can give me the individual attention and care I desire. It was also more affordable, and that was important. I also liked how it looks. As a graphic designer, the interface is important to me -- not only how it looks, but how easy it is to use on my end and for the customer. It has all of the features that I need too!

I have been using PunchPass since I started in 2020 and I can't wait to see where PunchPass is in another 5 years.

Pros

PunchPass has been super user friendly from day one. My favorite things about the program are that you all are constantly updating the features and listening to your customers and our needs. The customer service is fantastic and I genuinely feel valued and heard.

Cons

Back in 2020 when I started using the platform it was limited, but you have since updated the things that fell short and have really grown with my fitness business. I would like more report options when it comes to sales, as well as someday have the option for our customers to add their photo. I have also asked about "day passes" where my client could attend unlimited classes 3 days per week, rather than an overall monthly membership.

Initially there was a bit of a learning curve getting my classes set up on Punchpass and linked to my website, but now I find it easy to update each time I change my schedule. My clients love the Content Library option and the ease with which they can sign up for classes online and have the Zoom links delivered to their inbox before every class.

Pros

Clean, uncluttered interface for me and my clients. Customer support is excellent - very knowledgable, responsive, friendly, and willing to troubleshoot. I love that it is a small company with dedicated employees. They are constantly improving the software based on customer input.

Cons

Cost: I have a very small business, I'm a sole proprietor, and I wish the monthly cost was a bit lower. That said, the company has not raised their rates and I've been with them since 2021!

I've had an amazing experience using Punchpass. I've been with them since I started my yoga business in 2016, and even though I've tried other booking systems over the years, I always come back. The system is reliable, easy to use, and honestly, the most important part of my business, so it's a huge relief knowing I never have to worry about it. Their support team is thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever I need anything. In all these years, I've never had a single issue. Highly recommend!

Pros

Extremely reliable: I've never had a single issue with the system in all the years I’ve used it. Amazing customer support: The team is thoughtful, quick to respond, and always helpful. Great for small businesses: It’s especially supportive for independent instructors and small studios. Consistently improving: Even after all these years, Punchpass continues to evolve in a way that supports my business.

Tried other systems out of curiosity: But honestly, none of them matched Punchpass’s ease and customer service, so I always came back.

Overall, good. The quality of the support is excellent. Very prompt responses with really helpful instructions and examples. A very nice change from 'bot' orientated responses (please don't go down the bot path)

Pros

It does mostly want we want (I don't know of a perfect system out there)

Cons

The order of usage of passes, no support for multiple zoom channels, inability to consolidate Live and Online (Hybrid) classes into one instance on the schedule

Using Punchpass has been one of the best business decisions I have ever made. The platform is visually attractive, intuitive, and has all the features that I need to support my yoga business. Working on the administrative back end is easy and fun. I can update the schedule, create a new class, send an email, check a student's class history, and much more. Customer service has been excellent. The support articles are clear and helpful, and the support chat usually answers any questions promptly. Whether during the initial set up period, or later when I had questions or issues, I was able set up a support phone call to get the one-on-one help that I needed. But I have rarely needed a phone call, because the support articles and the chat help have been so good. On the user end, I have had very few problems. The students have been able to use the site successfully with very little input from me. My overall experience is that Punchpass is a great company with a great product and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Pros

Punchpass provides an excellent online platform for my yoga business. On my customized Punchpass site, I can view and organize student data, payment records, history of classes taken, and waiver forms, and more. Punchpass also provides email templates and automation features that have improved my communication with my students. From the user end, Punchpass provides an easy-to-use, intuitive and attractive interface for my students to purchase a pass, register for classes, see upcoming events, and check their own class history. I recommend Punchpass highly.

Cons

As the email templates are a newer feature, I have had some trouble with those working the way they should, as the team was working out the bugs. When I reached out for support, the customer service was excellent, and the issues were solved. In the Notices feature in the Schedule, I wish that Notices were editable. If I see a mistake once a Notice is posted, I have to delete the notice and do it again.

Our experience with Punchpass has been very positive. We love the PWA instead of a traditional app (which would ultimately take more money from each sale!).

Pros

Punchpass customer service is top notch. I get everything I need with the software without being nickeled and dimed to death like other softwares. It’s easy to use and intuitive for our teachers and clients. Online classes are a breeze with the Zoom integration.

Cons

I would love to see more automations! And for customers to be able to buy more than one pass at a time. Gift cards have been a challenge, as well. I’d love the option to pass credit card fees to the customer.

The transition from Mindbody to Punchpass was worth the work it took, which wasn't that tough. I'm so happy with Punchpass and the staff who work there. The customer service is excellent and every question I've ever had has been answered promptly.

Pros

Punchpass is such a user friendly platform for both studio staff and clients! Everything is straight forward and the monthly webinars for upcoming add ons or updates are informative and very useful. When I have questions I can easily get them answers through the support portal and can reach a support member quickly if I still need it. The price to use the platform is affordable and accessible and I really appreciate that!

Cons

I don't really have any complaints, but if I were to ask for an improvement it would be on the "emailing customers" page. When I write an email or want to do a newsletter I can only see about an inch of screen where I am typing, as opposed to the whole page, which has me switching to and from preview a lot. Sometimes the send button does not show up depending what device I am using. I'm used to it now, but would love a full screen experience!

The support team at PunchPass is great. They respond to issues quickly. They continue to upgrade without making the platform too complex. They make it easy to run your business and keep track of your metrics with plenty of reports and trackers. They've boosted their automated emails which has also been a great perk. I'm very satisfied with PunchPass and would never go back to the big complex CMP I was using before.

Pros

It's easy to get setup and learn. It's easy for the customers and clients to use as well. My members have very little problems with PunchPass. And if they do, they are easily managed and corrected.

Cons

I've struggled trying to use one of the big client management programs (CMP) and I honestly don't have any problems with PunchPass.

Love it! I am so happy with the general pass set up and the ease of use. They are always so helpful and responsive! Wouldn’t use anything else but PP!

Pros

PunchPass made it super easy to get my dance program up and running. The tools are intuitive and their Q&As are easy to find and follow if you don’t know how to do something. I’ve gotten so many calls on switching programs but I’ve been so happy with PP I wouldn’t consider anything else! They are always improving the site and offerings (even when you can’t think of more they can but but they always find a way!)

Cons

Not sure I really have anything… maybe a way to convert people with cards on file from a pass to a membership.

I can't seem to get it to where my students are able to sign themselves in. I also wish the notification that is emailed about expiring and full passes/punches would have the option to send as a TEXT.

I use punchpass since 2014. in this time i tried many other similar tools but nothing is as good as punchpass. So I continue using it.

Pros

Punchpass has all the features you need to run a yoga studio. If you need a new feature you can ask the developers of punchpass to create it. Punchpass is very flexibel, intuitive and easy to use, both for the teachers and for students. You can reach your customers sorted to different clusters. You can create video courses and sell them. The reporting is very differential. It has different integrations. No hidden costs!

Cons

I love punchpass - it is really the best tool. Only one thing there is for users from Germany that has an issue - according to the German data privacy law punchpass is not suitable because the server is not in Germany or EU. But I use punchpass anyway and had no problems with the law till now.
