### "Paycor - Simplified System A Must Have"

January 9, 2025

5.0

has more than enough to offer. One App. that can make life so much easier with these features: \* Payroll \* Benefits \* Expense Management \* Scheduling \* Background Screening \* Talent / Work Management \* Point of Sales \* And so much more. . An ability to have all the above qualities, if not most or all companies require - this overall experience is a blessing. Thank you Paycor for simplifying HR responsibilities. Well Done...🤗

Pros

It's compacted so much into one system. Not login in several apps to get everything done. Time saver for sure!

Cons

### "Accountant"

December 5, 2025

5.0

Overall, has solved many issues we have had in the past and now we are working with our team to ensure full use of the all the tools has available to assist them in making Payroll, Scheduling, Recruiting and Employee Management easier on the day to day.

Pros

It has made corrected many of the time clock and scheduling issues we have had in the past that negatively effected our payroll thus saving time and money. The customer support team and tools available have been awesome and the app is easy for our employees to use for requesting time off, availability, direct deposit and seeing their employee file and work related documents.

Cons

Limitation on reporting and some industry specific scheduling parameters are an issue as well as the current disconnect between the recruiting platform and the actual software, but the teams have informed us updates are coming and some of the things we need are on those updates.

is a reliable solution for organizations looking to simplify their HR processes and improve efficiency.

### "Worst System Ever"

February 3, 2026

1.0

Overall, my experience with has been extremely negative. What was marketed as a comprehensive, supportive payroll and HR solution has instead been a constant source of stress and inefficiency. Critical payroll issues take far too long to resolve, support is difficult to reach and often unhelpful, and there is little accountability once contracts are signed. Rather than streamlining HR and payroll processes, Paycor has required excessive time and effort to manage issues that should be simple. I would not choose this platform again.

Pros

Mostly easy to navigate. It's difficult to find positive things as this software has been nothing but a nightmare.

Cons

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with . Urgent payroll issues routinely take weeks to resolve, which is unacceptable when employees’ pay is on the line. Customer service is consistently poor, with long wait times just to speak to someone, and there are no dedicated account representatives to provide continuity or accountability. The onboarding process was inadequate, and the system was not set up correctly from the start. Once contracts are signed, support drops off significantly, leaving you to troubleshoot complex payroll and HR issues on your own. The platform is also not as robust as advertised. We were repeatedly told certain functions were possible, only to find out later that the system cannot actually support them. What is most frustrating is that when contacting support, it often feels like I understand the system better than the representatives assisting me. Any request, even basic ones, requires hours of follow ups, explanations, and escalations, and many issues still remain unresolved. If you choose Paycor, be prepared to spend at least five hours trying to fix problems that should be straightforward, with no guarantee they will be resolved. I would not recommend Paycor to any organization that values reliability, responsiveness, or accurate payroll processing.

### "Improving but still needs a lot of work. "

December 4, 2025

4.0

It has been okay but there is still a long ways to go. Some of the simplest things are not available still like password requirements or document signings and it is such a roundabout way to get something done.

Pros

I like the ease of use and how everything is centralized and together in one place. I think for the cost, we are also getting a lot more than the other provider we were with.

Cons

The customer service isn't the best and it is incredibly frustrating working with some of the success managers. They are not there to help, they are just there to "buy" more time, or they just completely ghost us.

### "Affordable, but Falling Behind"

July 11, 2025

3.0

Overall, our experience with has been mixed. While it meets basic HR needs at a lower price point, it lacks the strategic tools, reporting depth, and innovation necessary to support a growing or forward-thinking organization.

Pros

offers a fairly affordable HRIS option for small to mid-sized companies. You get a decent amount of features for the cost, including payroll, onboarding, and basic analytics, making it a budget-friendly system.

Cons

The platform lacks innovation and feels outdated compared to competitors. Support response times can be inconsistent, and product updates often lag behind industry standards. You often get the sense they are playing catch-up.

### "Streamlined, Reliable, and Easy to Use – Paycor Delivers!"

July 1, 2025

5.0

Overall, our experience with has been very positive. The platform is easy to navigate, and it has significantly streamlined our HR and payroll processes. Implementation was well-supported, and the ongoing customer service is responsive and helpful. While there are areas for improvement—particularly in reporting flexibility—the system continues to evolve and meet the needs of our growing team.

Pros

’s platform is intuitive and user-friendly, which makes managing payroll, benefits, and performance reviews much more efficient. I especially appreciate how seamlessly the different modules integrate, reducing manual work and improving accuracy across the board.

Cons

Some areas of the platform, like reporting and analytics, could be more customizable and easier to navigate. Occasionally, system updates or changes aren’t well-communicated in advance, which can lead to confusion or extra troubleshooting.

Reason for choosing Paycor

We chose because it offered the best balance of functionality, user experience, and customer support. Compared to other providers, Paycor’s platform felt more intuitive, especially for managing payroll, benefits, and performance in one place. The ability to scale with us as we grow and the personalized implementation support were also key deciding factors.

We switched from Paychex to to gain a more modern, user-friendly HR platform that could better support our growing team’s needs. Paycor offered a more intuitive interface, stronger self-service tools for employees and managers, and better integration across payroll, benefits, and performance. The ability to customize workflows and access more actionable insights also played a big role in our decision.

Overall, we were mostly pleased with , however, when there was no accountability after several errors, we decided to move to a new payroll vendor.

Pros

Cons

### "Disappointing Experience with Paycor "

April 30, 2025

1.0

My overall experience with has been very negative. The system is clunky, unintuitive, and not user-friendly, requiring significant workarounds for even basic HR functions. Customer support has been one of the worst aspects—delayed responses, limited expertise, and little accountability when issues arise. Reporting is especially poor, with limited customization, outdated formats, and a lack of real-time insights, making it difficult to extract meaningful data without heavy manual effort. Overall, the platform fell far short of what’s needed to support a growing and dynamic organization.

Pros

I can't really think of anything. I guess the payroll is pretty easy to process.

Cons

Terrible customer service, terrible implementation process, system is not as robust as they make it seem. Onboarding is the worst.

Switched from

I made the switch from Heartland to because, on paper, it looked like a more robust and scalable solution. We were looking to consolidate systems, streamline performance management, and improve the overall employee experience. Paycor promised more customization, stronger reporting, and an all-in-one platform that could grow with us. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the sales pitch. The system is clunky and unintuitive, and the reporting capabilities are awful—limited, outdated, and difficult to work with. Customer support has been consistently unhelpful and slow to respond. Overall, the platform created more work than it solved, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

### "Find something else"

July 1, 2025

1.0

Horrible. Worst HRIS or ATS I've ever used. Buggy, nothing works like it's supposed to. Also, fairly outdated, I used it 5 years ago and it was a much better tool then.

Pros

I cannot think of a single good thing about . I cannot think of a single good thing about Paycor.

Cons

The worst customer service of any software I've ever used. I really can't stress how bad it is. From call centers where people can't hear you and you can't hear them, to a sales rep named \[sensitive content hidden\] who refused to return calls and emails, basic issues takes weeks to resolve.

Pros

Cons

System overall works fine but if we do run into an issue, customer service us not easy to work with and has limited knowledge of their own product.

Pros

I would say the pros of include the value for money and also the ease of use. Compared to other systems, cost was reasonable for product provided.

Cons

### "Not the worst I've used, but certainly not the best."

January 13, 2026

3.0

As the kids say these days... my experience using at my company was quite "mid". Not the worst I've used, but certainly not the best. I know others in my organization had an even worse time with it. Internally, is was typically referred to as "Paincor".

Pros

As far as HR softwares go, it technically accomplishes most of what it sets out to do. It has an app where you can view your pay stubs and pay history and sign documents.

Cons

"Finicky" would be the word that comes to mind when I think about the couple of years my company used . Again, it mostly got the job done on the main things, but I remember the login experience being especially awful. If you backgrounded the app for more than a few seconds, your session would expire and you'd have to re-authenticate. Very frustrating when you're trying to quickly swap between another app like the calculator to figure up something. The login relentlessly needed the full 2-factor authentication as well, even if you selected "Remember this device".
