It’s one of the most structured and user-friendly recruiting platforms I’ve used. The system helps streamline the entire hiring process from posting jobs and tracking applicants to scheduling interviews and managing feedback. The integrations with other HR and communication tools (like Outlook, Slack, and Zoom) save a lot of manual work. I also appreciate how Greenhouse supports structured hiring and DEI initiatives through scorecards and unbiased evaluation tools.

Pros

The user interface is intuitive and well-organized, making it easier for our hiring team Excellent integrations with calendars (Google, Outlook) and many other HR tools, which streamlined interview scheduling and reduced administrative overhead

Cons

The pricing is on the higher side, especially for smaller companies or teams with limited budgets. Some users found the reporting and data-export features to be less flexible or user-friendly than expected.

I am really enjoying using Greenhouse. It has helped with our recruiting efforts so much. The customer support we have is also very useful and timely.

Pros

The accessibility and how much use we get out of it. We have an amazing customer support person named \[sensitive content hidden\] who is very attentive and helps with all issues that arise.

Cons

The inability to add basic application questions as needed. We have a lot of use with specific questions from candiates and it would be easiest to add them ourselves versus having to do a workaround.

Overall, my experience with Greenhouse has been okay. There are opportunities to improve performance to better meet our expectations in terms of personalization and reporting capability.

Pros

Greenhouse is relatively quick to respond when I need a quick question answered in their support chat. They are super friendly, and even if I don't get the answer I'm hoping for, I'm able to solve for that quickly and move on to a different solution.

Cons

Greenhouse seems to be slightly stuck in the past. I think they offer too much-- more than they are capable of supporting well. So, they try to be innovative and forward-thinking, but most of their basic functions, like reporting, are unintuitive and ancient.

Pros

Ease of use - very user friendly. Staff seem to be able to pick up & learn easily. Customer Support - alsway a quick response time

Cons

Applicant Tracking - making candidates easier to flag to move forward in the intervew process I think that is not as user friendly and take a while to learn

As an end user, it is the simplest and easiest to use applicant tracking system in the market. Makes applying to jobs a delightful experience

Pros

Extremely easy to use compared to other cloud based applicant tracking system. No unnecessary creation os accounts and credentials for tracking. automated emails and workflows are an added advantage

Cons

Difficult to integrate with other hcm systems. the information captured is minimal and may not suffice the mandatory requirements for the backend HRIS system

So much better than my previous ATS Paycom. Makes my job easier and faster, able to review candidates and get them through the process quickly. Easy for hiring managers to use as well

Pros

Easy to use, their customer service is amazing and available in real time. Love that I can email candidates and get feedback directly in the system and that it integrates easily with Outlook, Slack, Teams etc.

Cons

Cannot text from the system this would help me be able to connect with candidates faster and easier.

It's been great! I do wish it had a few more integrations, however overall l like it. I have recommended it to many people.

Pros

Ease of learning and functionality. Getting onboarded was relatively easy. The customer support is top notch!

Cons

I feel the reports are not the easiest to use and could certainly be much more intuitive and detailed.

Overall Greenhouse has been a good ATS, but I do believe there is room for improvement on the reporting of coordination and scheduling ease.

Pros

What I like most is that there is customer support willing to help me with non complex issues that accommodates multiple time zones

Cons

What I like least is probably the amount of data that im able to pull for scheduling. I would also like to see AI incorporated more into scheduling

Overall, I'd rank Greenhouse as the best ATS I've used throughout my 20 year career in TA. The features, reporting, end-to-end candidate tracking, and ability to collaborate with your hiring managers make Greenhouse standout above all others for me!

Pros

There is a lot to like about Greenhouse, but the most impactful aspect in my opinion is the reporting. I've used several ATS systems throughout my career and Greenhouse is far and away the best with respect to the data and analytics available. Whether you're in Talent Acquisition, HR or a Hiring Manager, the source data and ability to build custom reports allows you to formulate actionable insights and trends throughout your recruiting and hiring funnel.

Cons

The time to acclimate new users. The learning curve in order to train new employees is long as a result of the various customizations and robust information available.

Overall it is good. It has taken a while to get to used to the new UI though

Pros

I like the workflows that are built in. It is easy to see scorecards in a way that makes hiring decisions easy.

Cons

I don't like that I can't see when a candidate responds to an email or that I can't "reply" to an email. There lacks an ability of a single email thread with a candidate. I would also like to know if a candidate "accepts" calendar invites.

It offers solutions for most recruitment activities, and detailed reports. Although it sometimes has deficiencies in terms of aesthetics, for the company's needs it is more than ok. In order for this to work correctly, the Recruitment team needs constant training.

Pros

is a very complex ATS, with many options and integration possibilities

Cons

The most disappointing thing was their way of negotiating contracts. After a 2-year contract, instead of building our loyalty, they bombarded us with an astronomical price offer. In the end, we managed to reach a conclusion, but the people we were in contact with seemed to have no interest in keeping us at the beginning.

Pros

Love how easy it is to set up, as well as mange and direct multiple recruiting processes at once.

Cons

The integration with Outlook is rough. We've recently switched to Google, which has been much easier. We had challenges with the Checkr integration as well, because we were ordering complex background checks. Ideally those features could be improved in the future.

Amazing experience with Greenhouse - this is by far the best ATS I've used in my career so far.

Pros

I particularly like the fact that Greenhouse is user friendly. It's easy to use and besides being easy to use, it's really helping me in my day to day life as recruiter because everything is centralized here. Note make it very easy to collaborate with people!

Cons

The way we pull reports could maybe be optimized - it takes too long to create reports and that's the only thing I could reproach here.

Overall very good. And more recently I feel they have listened to the customer and made some good product updates such as Talent Rediscovery.

Pros

Great support and chat bot when you need to update something from the admin side. To be honest the person on the team that was more our Greenhouse expert has left and I am now in the tool alot more and overall I find it not as difficult as I expected.

Cons

Its not super intuitive at times in regards to the configure settings. Its not a problem though because the chat bot and support has always been extremely helpful.

I would like to have the option of customize statistics to the reports, not only create charts and generic statistics.

I've been on the field for many years, and GH is still the best option for our needs. We tried different ATSs, but none were as adaptable as GH.

Pros

Design your ideal recruitment process with full flexibility: customize stages, interviewers, permissions, and candidate communications to suit your needs. Enjoy seamless access to candidate funnel information, clear and organized scorecards, easy-to-use referral links with progress tracking, and smooth integration with your HRIS (like HiBob, in our case).

Cons

Automation Features: Expand automation options for repetitive tasks, such as interview scheduling and follow-up communications, to save time and boost efficiency. The feature exist for long time but I feel it can be even better introducing maybe some AI components.

Good product to track the onboarding process and refer to candidate interview status. To know interviewer details , documentation timeline and process we use this product.

Pros

1\. The layout is straightforward to use. 2. Marking and managing leaves, correction, data collaboration, and digital signature is simple. 3. Timely reminders of company events and tracking of new opportunities and interview process going on for referred candidates.

Cons

No Cons are to be shared as such. All things worked fine and smoothly.
