My overall experience with greenhouse is 100% positive. No complaints from my use. I have only been using it a little while but love everything so far..

Pros

Greenhouse offers one of the most intuitive platforms for applicant tracking and referrals to hire top talent.

Cons

Greenhouse is so easy to use and so easy for employees to refer their friends and colleges. Out of all the platforms I’ve used this is the easiest.

Overall, it's easy to use and a good tool. It is definitely a good tool for larger organizations that need all the features.

Pros

I use Greenhouse for candidate screening. It's very easy to use and has robust featured, especially for search. I don't have my own Greenhouse account, so I use with my clients who use Greenhouse for their candidate CRM.

Cons

From what I've seen, it's a bit pricey. I'm a 1-person shop and don't need most of the features. I don't use it for interviewing.

This is still our go to rep product for recruiting, it allows a lot of people to easily engage in parts of the process where they are needed and makes a clean archive of candidates. Great functionality for transferring candidates between roles.

Pros

I like how it’s an archive of all of our candidates and how it flagged duplicate candidates and how people can leave notes and tag each other in it

Cons

There’s so many features that it can take a while to get familiar and set up. I don’t like a few of the views for screening questions.

\- Intuitive pipeline view that makes tracking straightforward - Strong integration options with sourcing tools - Robust interview scheduling and feedback features that streamline coordination across hiring teams

Cons

\- Reporting and analytics can feel overly complex and not always intuitive to set up - Customisation of workflows and scorecards is limited without admin access or extra support - The interface, while functional, can feel a bit dated and cluttered for larger hiring pipelines

I am a daily user of GH and use it to hire and source all of our candidates and now employees. I have used LinkedIn recruiting before and it blows LI out of the water. This makes hiring and keeping track of all stages, responses and resumes in one place. You also have the ability to tag other hiring managers and ask for their opinions instead of having to email them separately. Everything is in one plane.

Pros

super easy to use, has a step and stage for everything you could think of. easily categorizes, rejects, moves stages, and keeps track of all candidate information.

Cons

I like everything about Greenhouse. I will not be using any other applicant tracking system going forward.

It’s one of the most structured and user-friendly recruiting platforms I’ve used. The system helps streamline the entire hiring process from posting jobs and tracking applicants to scheduling interviews and managing feedback. The integrations with other HR and communication tools (like Outlook, Slack, and Zoom) save a lot of manual work. I also appreciate how Greenhouse supports structured hiring and DEI initiatives through scorecards and unbiased evaluation tools.

Pros

The user interface is intuitive and well-organized, making it easier for our hiring team Excellent integrations with calendars (Google, Outlook) and many other HR tools, which streamlined interview scheduling and reduced administrative overhead

Cons

The pricing is on the higher side, especially for smaller companies or teams with limited budgets. Some users found the reporting and data-export features to be less flexible or user-friendly than expected.

Pros

I like that you can add notes and track the candidate's process. I like that you can integrate DocuSign for the offer letters and that you can do lots of customizations. I also like the direct feed into LinkedIn.

Cons

The changes to do everything isn't very intuitive. I have to search a lot to figure out how to change, update or use a feature.

As an end user, it is the simplest and easiest to use applicant tracking system in the market. Makes applying to jobs a delightful experience

Pros

Extremely easy to use compared to other cloud based applicant tracking system. No unnecessary creation os accounts and credentials for tracking. automated emails and workflows are an added advantage

Cons

Difficult to integrate with other hcm systems. the information captured is minimal and may not suffice the mandatory requirements for the backend HRIS system
