People would drop off a check and "conveniently forget" the late fees. They can't argue with the time stamp on their payments- late fees collected has increased. Pros It has greatly streamline my processes and improved interaction with tenants. Cons Deposit email only lists the tenant NAME and not what building/unit they are in. Have sent request to tech staff and they said it was a good idea and they would work on it. Has only been a few weeks. It's a user-friendly interface for my tenants, allowing them to access both via a web browser or a mobile app, and they offer an excellent level of support for all customers. Pros TenantCloud offers a great entry-level property management software for my small real estate portfolio. I appreciate that I can pay an affordable price for the features I need now with the option to add on to the software as I grow. I love that their customer support gets back to me and my tenants within 24 hours. Cons There isn't much that I don't like about TenantCloud. The only issue I've run into is that the number of equipment records allowed at the lower subscription levels is too low for the number of properties allowed at those same levels. Switched from [Tellus](https://www.capterra.com/p/182525/Tellus/) My prior property management app, Tellus, had a variety of payment processing issues, including failure to remit payments on time, failure to catch payment errors, and double withdrawals without permission. These were highly concerning - both a financial and legal risk for my business. Tellus' customer support was also slow and unhelpful. TenantCloud offers much better payments functionality and performs their duties as expected. TenantCloud's customer support is great for both my tenants and me. Review Source RH Rickie H. Cons If you manage more than one companies properties through your account then payments and questions from all companies go to users that shouldn't see the information. I was looking for a software that would make being a landlord simple, and TenantCloud checked that box. Pros I love how easy TenantCloud is to use for me and my tenants. I am a new landlord and TenantCloud made it simple to figure out alongside my tenants. I only have to make adjustments as needed, but besides that I leave it alone and it runs the operations for me. The customer support is also great and responsive. Cons Some adjustments, like editing rental or contract details take a lot of steps to find, when it seems like it should be a quick and easy adjustment when needed. September 23, 2025 5.0 Very Positive. I've had some issues but they got resolved quickly. I love the tracking but probably need to learn more about all the tools. Pros Ease of use and customer support. Clients also seem to like how streamlined the system is and lets them track expenses. Loading my properties, assigning my admin, tenant screening, it's all great! Pros Tenant Cloud is extremely user friendly, secure, and a great value for the money. Customer support is great and it accounting effortlessly tracks all expenses, incoming transactions, and costs making them easy to understand. The website is accessed so easily and the app makes it even easier! Cons So far, there isn't a con. I do wish there were training modules to watch at pace. The program works great. Accounting was consistently wrong, the system went down a lot, I had trouble with the tenant portal and the cost was incredibly high and not what they sold me. Review Source eN eric N. They were very good about uploading all my tenant information. Pros Great program to organize your properties. Easy to learn and they have a great onboarding program. They have a great program to get you up and running Cons I wish it had a way to add my leases to the lease section, I just add them as an attachement now. It's a workaround right now. I've had a couple tenants not have success with their renewals leading to late rent payments. I've also not been able to require the insurance that I want using Tenant Cloud. This is an issue that will make me look elsewhere sometime soon. Pros It seems affordable compared to other services, and easy to use for my renters. I think they are very innovative and taking the responsibility seriously to offer the best product in the market for me. Pros Software was very easy to set up. Customer Service is very responsive and I like the ability to talk to someone live when needed vs all electronic communications. My tenants also have been able to correspond directly with TenantCloud on payment issues. Cons I don't currently have the ability to do bank reconcilations via TenantCloud, so I still need to use a bookkeeping software package to track financial information. TenantCloud is actively working on the rollout of the bank reconcilation process which will make the package a fully integrated product for my needs. Alternatives considered [Buildium](https://www.capterra.com/p/47428/Buildium-Property-Management-Software/) Reason for choosing TenantCloud TenantCloud was the best fit for my price range and my needs. Switched from [PayPal](https://www.capterra.com/p/207944/PayPal/) The transaction fees became too expensive with this service and it wasn't customized to tenant management. I have used other service that transfers in 2 days instead of 6. My rating would be a 5-Star if this could get adjusted. Usually customer service is helpful. I'm glad there is a phone number I can call with a short wait time to reach someone. I've had one issue where they were wrong but insisted they were corrected. It ended up being that my tenant cloud account wasn't operating correctly but it was fixed. Pros I chose tenant cloud originally because the homeowner also wanted something that would give them access to their property. Tenant Cloud offers an owner portal so that's why I chose Tenant Cloud.
