We run abou 4 - 8 polls every month, and we haven't had any issues at all so far. The polls function well even when there's lots of people submitting them at the same time. And the templates, native integrations, and the automated reports are also great additions. If I had to choose again, I'd 100% go for Pollfish. Pros Pollfish is probably the single easiest software I've ever used. The drag and drop builder is great itself, but the template library also has anything we every need, so you rarely have to design anything from scratch. The templates are also designed very well, we usually pick one, do a couple edits, and deploy. The whole thing takes less than 10 minutes. Pros I used Pollfish back in 2017, and I'm impressed with its evolution since then. It's straightforward to use, and you can set up proper screening questions and create logics where you want to show different questions to different audiences based on their previous answers. The dashboard is also very easy to use, even though you can export the data in various formats for further analysis. Cons Although it's not a deal-breaker as it was within our expectation (I have an actuarial background), we realized that some of the answers/respondents are not of high-quality, meaning that in some instances, we realized that the same person answered with a different user ID's or some users provided "troll" answers to the some of the open-ended questions. I am sure they have their internal fraud and data quality checks, but some improvement is needed on that end. Also, the ability to recruit in most countries was a key reason for our selection of Pollfish Cons I used the pay per use feature so did not have access to the advanced analytics tool. One needs to be a subscriber to use advanced analytics, which did not make sense as one is already paying for use. Pros I appreciate that Pollfish was intuitive both in creating a poll and also for the user who takes the poll. Cons I would like a little bit more assistance in how to effectively use Pollfish. I don't have a strong background in technology so "pro tips" would be helpful. Data quality and survey question options are my biggest flag. Pros Pollfish is easy to use, fast to field, and the customer service has been responsive and helpful. Cons Two main points of feedback would be around 1) data quality: sometimes the responses feel like a person is just quickly clicking through on their phone, and open ended questions often have poor results. While I know those are less than idea to survey providers, we find them useful. And 2) survey question options - they are still a bit limited in terms of options and structure. The respondent and answer percentages give very quick data on rankings of preferences and issues. By using a variety of survey type questions on various social media platforms and with email, we have been able to refine our product and boost sales with the changes. Pros You have the ability to hone in on precise demographics in terms of age, gender and so forth when defining the target audience for the survey...very helpful for precise data. Cons I felt overwhelmed but the number of features with a lack of proper education on how to use them. I have used other companies such as Survey Monkey that have modal pop ups when you hover over a feature to explain what it is and use. Trial and error with great patience is best on Pollfish. Cons I never take the time to write reviews about the software I use, but my experience with Pollfish was so utterly time consuming, stressful, and detrimental in any capacity that I literally feel the duty to warn others of not wasting your money on this terrible service. First and foremost, their core product literally does not work (especially if your survey is not run using their platform). I used a Qualtrics survey and virtually every answer I got was straight-lined and very clearly unthoughtful (it was more common than not to see people answer questions in ways that contradicted previous answers than not). After observing this embarrassingly low level of responses as they were coming in, I immediately asked for a refund and said I didn't want to proceed with the survey. At this point I had only gotten 60 or so responses of the 400 that I purchased, and they're telling me it's going to take them over a month to refund what I deposited. Terrible service, would not recommend to anyone.
