It saves me a lot of time and gives freedom and autonomy to the users of my office spaces. Also frees me from the manual work of making the monthly user time and cost lists. Gives more air of professionalism to my little business of renting out spaces for fellow therapists and coaches. What I also like very much is that I can easily check what is happening with the bookings in differnet views, by spaces or by users. I don't have good technical skills but this quite sofisticated software fits me perfectly.

Pros

Ease of use, good structure, fool-proof, prompt and great client support. It feels that you are looked after and supported fully by a very knowledgeable stuff which means so much if you don't want to spend ages learning a system. Good visual design and the users started booking without asking questions all the time so I guess they like it too. Love the possibility of making lists, this also helps a lot. I can whole-heartedly recommend Skedda for smaller businesses as well!

Cons

If there is something that would be: I would like to use in an application format making it maybe easier to use on a mobile phone. But I guess it is soon to come :-))

### "Easy scheduling for library meeting rooms"

We worked with the free version for a while (only entering half of our rooms) to test the functionality. I was very impressed with the support we received as I tried to figure out how to apply their system to our setting. The ease of use, price point, and great support made this a wonderful option for us.

Pros

Skedda provides an easy to use interface for our staff to schedule meeting rooms and for the public to be able to see events and availability. The cloud hosted option removes a lot of the headaches we had with our previous software. And the support has been great for helping us find ways to make the product work for our needs.

Cons

Public libraries are different than business settings in that everything we offer is essentially free and we have to track a lot of different statistics (monthly room usage broken down by type of meeting). There are features related to charging for room use that it would be nice to be able to disable. And the reporting isn't as robust as would be ideal. But it's easy to ignore the fee sections and the ability to export the stats to Excel gives us all the info we need with just a little manipulation.

Reason for choosing Skedda

Price. We are not big enough to need a lot of bells and whistles, but you still have to pay for all of that whether you use them or not with systems like EMS. Skedda gives us the essential functionality we need for an excellent price.

They provided no customer service when I had trouble with the system. Automatic reply said that they will come back after 1 hour, but they didn't. So I ask the status. Message was seen but no reply.

Pros

Great system which can use for fee with some limitation.

Cons

They change the system without notification.

It is very easy to use both for users and admins, it does it's job very well and has all the needed features to have a smooth room booking process.

Cons

If there was a possibility for two way integrtion with other apps it would be great. I mean if other apps could make changes to bookings or make bookings all together.

OfficeRnD had a lot of features and was very easy to use, however, with time it turned out that our clients were not interested in the extended features and just needed a very simple and easy way to book rooms. So we switched to Skedda which does that perfectly and offers a more reasonable price for only these features.

I have tried about 15 different scheduling apps, but I kept coming back to Skedda. It just works for my needs PERFECTLY!! Other app were missing this feature or that feature but Skedda had them all. End of story!

Pros

There are so many interesting and versatile features embedded within this software. The most impactful features that excites me the most in selecting this software is the ability for the customer to book their band for a specific studio package all within a comfortable and easy interface. Skedda is so VERY versatile to work exactly as I plan it to. I chose to automatically block off booked times slots so that no double bookings are possible. I chose to automatically add up the total rate for multiple hourly block sessions. I also chose to not allow the customer to book multiples of various packages withing the booking. For example: If the customer chooses 4 hours of 'STUDIO + PA SYSTEM PACKAGE' @ $25/ hr., he or she cannot book 'STUDIO + DRUMKIT' @ $22/hr. within that same time slot. Avoiding any chance of a confusing situation. I LOVE this!!

Cons

It costs a bit more that other apps, but for the additional options and features, that is to be expected. There is a learning curve that is involved with figuring out the 'Space Sharing' aspect of skedda, but the customer support was the best!! With an app this versatile, it is expected to be difficult to figure some aspects out but they instantly replied to my chat requests with a friendly response to all my questions and walked me through my struggles in an easy to understand step by step explanation. I had it all figured out within minutes thanks to their experienced and knowledgeable staff. Thank you guys!! After I got skedda set up exactly the way I needed, the integration into my Wordpress website was easy and works flawless!

Brilliant. Wonderful customer service. Great knowledge. Proactive. Exceptionally communicative (I even received a personally recorded video to outline the different options I could use with a fiddly setup wishlist).

Pros

I liked the sense of it - simple on / off type functioning. Our pricing structure is complex and I investigated over 30 products. This was by far the best. The support is exceptional. We've had to pivot in a Covid-19 world and they have been amazing (and charming) - even though we are in New Zealand - literally the other side of the world and time-zone inconvenient.

Cons

We'd love to see a last minute option where if people book within 24hours, they get an additional discount - but hey, it's still the best!

For a small meeting room booking system inhouse, this has been really helpful and seamless. Nice professional and reliable and great features. We definitely will look to upgrade down the line as our business expands. Really great software and customer support via chat or email has been pretty good.

Pros

The interface is clean, simple, user friendly but looks really professional. It was fairly easy to learn how to set things up and we find it works really well.

Cons

There's a big jump between free version to the cost of the Pro Pack. The free version is obviously fantastic for what you get to use at no cost but there's a couple of little features that would be nice to add at a smaller cost without jumping straight into the full Pro Pack pricing. Perhaps small add-on pricing for some of individual features would be a nice option for low user.

Right out of the box, I was impressed by how easy the platform is to use and the sleek design makes it a breeze to navigate and book. The organization of the resources and the filtering options allow me to quickly find what I need and reserve it without complications.

Pros

I love it with just a few clicks, you can reserve and manage my desks, meeting rooms and other resources, without the hassle and confusion.

Cons

Sometimes I have experienced a small delay in loading the platform, especially when I have a large amount of reservations or resources. While this doesn't affect my overall experience significantly, a higher charging speed would be desirable for even smoother usage.

We have a very simple way in our office now to manage spaces such as training room and meeting rooms.

Pros

I have been using it in my office building to manage spaces, and it has been a great solution to bring order to all teams, it is very easy to use for the users to make reservations, and it also is very easy for admins. It even manage payments from customers who want to rent your spaces from 30 minutes up to several hours or days.

Cons

There is not much to say about cons because i really like this app, you can even integrate it with Google calendars if you use the paid version.

Our use of Skedda has been amazing. We've been able to set the system up, create our spaces, add our admins, and set it up (through Zapier) to where only certain events are published to our digital signage system, and posted on our website. Unfortunately, the time granularity is a real problem for us.

Pros

Skedda is amazing, it's interface, ease of use, and customizability for the price-point it comes in at are amazing. The integration with Zapier has been a game-changer for us when it comes to using the software.

Cons

:-( The time granularity. I hate to have to write this part, because this is such a sore spot for us, but I also wanted to echo the other reviewer I saw who talked about this issue. The time granularity really constrains this system for us. We have to over/under schedule a lot of things, just to make the system work for us. I think what makes me a little sore when it comes to this, is that I can't see why it isn't an easy fix. Being able to natively set a type of event would also be great. We are able to create a custom field (and that's what we've done), but I haven't seen that we are able to filter on that custom field in Zapier.

### "Skedda is a life-saver!"

We use Skedda to manage reservations in about 60 rooms in our building, and it replaces a very old limited clunky system. Skedda really saved us from having to rely on that awful system, or on a series of Outlook calendars, and it has saved us from a system where one person did all the work, and only one person knew what was available when. It's the exact right solution, it adds transparency to the process, and allows several colleagues to help themselves within limits. We use it all the time! 1600 reservations by 40+ users in the last 3 months!

Pros

It's easy, yet complex!! It's very easy for my colleagues to use with minimal or no training (Skedda is super easy for them to figure out on their own), and it has the complex/nuanced admin settings that we need in order to limit certain rooms and users to meet a variety of needs. It has truly been a life-saver for our entire community, and we often use it as our gold-standard example when we're discussing "the exact right solution for the problem" (as opposed to other problems where we have an inelegant incomplete solution). Thank you for being awesome!

Cons

It would be helpful if it were easier to see a list of rooms that are available on a given date/time, and it would be helpful if we could add the option to include set-up and break-down time to a reservation. We currently add set-up and break-down time as separate reservations, so for our events that require this, each reservation is actually 3 entries (set-up, event, break-down).

We managed to use Skedda to solve the room booking system as an alternative to what was the process which was booking through excel which was inefficient. My experience with Skedda has been made so easy through the help of their staff which I feel all deserve lots of credit. I mainly spoke to two people called \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and they were both excellent. They answered any questions I had and there were quite a few as I wanted it to operate as perfectly as it could and they did so with no qualms. Always so professional and great to receive help from so I wanted to add how great they were!

Pros

The features on the software were incredibly easy to navigate for both the individual setting the framework up and also the Users and there hasn't been much difficulty aside from asking a few questions to staff to see how much we can do with the features. Through the help of staff I have been able to efficiently utilise the software in such a way that it functions without much attention which is great as it has actually increased productivity by not diverting my time away from my role to look after the software and making sure it runs correctly. If I were to pick one thing I liked most about the software it would definitely be how user friendly it is. I love the fact that people can join and although we do offer the opportunity to discuss how to use it through messages it isn't really needed as it is so easy to get on with!

Cons

The only con I can think of was when trying to navigate the payment process feature. The way it is set up through the order method of 'if this' or 'when this is met' was fairly hard to utilise exactly how I needed it. However, there are always alternatives for example I simply export the usage to an excel sheet and manually invoice which doesn't take much time and works great so It did not make me have an issue with the software at all!

Reason for choosing Skedda

After looking through about 15/20 companies and their software I realised that the free trial that Skedda offered allowed me to get a real taste for what it could do and when I saw the price I thought it was just perfect. I showed my Boss and the same day it was being implemented so it was just clearly the best option.

### "Booking system that works"

Pros

We started using the free version of Skedda 3 years ago as a booking system for open outdoor beach volleyball courts in 4 different places. What we liked about Skedda was that it was really easy for new members to sign up and they could reserve court right away. It was also super easy to work with as an admin, setting up the venues and time slots, and even see how many booked over the year, and all this was in the free version. So when we needed scheduling system for our business (indoor beach volleyball courts for customers to rent) there was no question that we took the business version of Skedda for our company.

Cons

Unfortunately Stripe which is the payment partner of Skedda does not offers service in our country, so we can not use the payment feature.

Pros

The ease of use the most feature I like informal. adding to that, the informal tone of the used language in the app is something new and was very nice to see.

Cons

being able to create casual accounts. This caused lose of control for us, people were forgetting their account password and thy would not reset the password, instead they just created a casual account. creating casual account was more convenient than resetting the password.

Sometimes people misuse it. They booked and don't use it hence there are some features that allows to send notifications of seat being empty.

This saves us a lot of time in handling room bookings and allows registered users to manage their own bookings when it is convenient to them.

Pros

I love that this simplifies and standardises our room booking processes. It is also great that registered users can make their own bookings. Payment is simplified.

Cons

I would like more of a sliding scale for subscribing once the 5 space limit has been used: rather than it jumping up suddenly to a full subscription it would be good to have a lower cost option when you are only moving from 5 to 6 spaces. I would also like to be able to send receipts for payments directly from Skedda.

### "Skedda for Small Holistic Centre"

The therapy centre has been using a paper room booking diary for the past 20 years. Skedda will make life so much easier. It means we can be much more responsive to clients wanting to book treatments and therefore appear more professional, and mean that we have to rely less on colleagues to make bookings on our behalf if we are not in the Centre. It might seem like a little thing, but for me it will be quite life-changing! As the person responsible for setting Skedda up, I have been genuinely blown away by the customer support, even for the free version. I have had numerous queries (some fundamental, some less so), all of which have been answered - if not immediately - within an hour or so (even on a Saturday). The excellent support is probably the biggest reason why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skedda to others, and why I feel confident now sharing it with my colleagues.

Pros

Skedda provides my small organisation of self-employed therapists with a really clear, straightforward and user-friendly alternative to the paper room booking diary system that has been in use for the past 20 years. We don't need anything fancy, or special features, and the free version is perfect for our needs. The fact that it looks very similar to our regular diary, and the ease of use, has also made it easier to persuade colleagues who were less certain about making the switch.

Cons

The only issue that I have found so far, is that regular 'users' cannot see WHO has booked rooms, just that they have been booked. In a small organisation such as ours, we sometimes need to swap treatment rooms for accessibility reasons etc, and this would have been a useful feature. It is a minor gripe, however.

Reason for choosing Skedda

I looked at many other products before choosing Skedda. It was the one product that entirely met our needs as an organisation, and the fact that we can use it free of charge has made it much easier to persuade colleagues to try it.

We were a rather unstructured tennis club but when the Covid pandemic hit we had to start controlling access to our courts to ensure there weren't people hanging around waiting to play. I searched for a cost-effective solution for an online booking system and came across Skedda. The free usage option was great because it allowed me to freely test the system without having to pay. Items that require payment are highlighted making it a transparent system. I set up the conditions and parameters for our club in an hour or two and find it easy to make tweaks and adjustments. It is also great for collecting data on the usage of our courts. I am very happy that I found this option for our online booking system.

Pros

It was relatively easy to set up and our tennis club members (who are not very tech-savvy) have easily adopted the new system and enjoy using it.

Cons

Based on how we are using the software I have not experienced any cons. I think the software is great.

Manual management of rooms is time-wasting and consuming. Skedda has helped us optimize the process of managing our spaces plus the product can be configured and deployed easily. I would definitely recommend this product!

Pros

The product is straightforward, easy to use out of the box. It has the features that you need if you will manage 2-3 rooms only.

Cons

The basic features are good enough to manage the day-to-day booking management. I would suggest if you could allow the free users to see who has booked the rooms.

This allowed us to manage spaces safely during the covid 19 pandemic by altering the number of spaces to suit allow individual use or small groups

Pros

It took the pressure off individual in charge of managing the centre and gives great access and flexibility to users.

Cons

Setting conditions is a bit tricky and would like to require different tags on different days.

I love it and it has made our company flow better!

Pros

What we like most about Skedda is our workers has the ability to schedule a room with having to call admiration office to book a room. This lets the admin office have more time to attend to office work in stead of booking rooms all day. Also we love the feature with the picture of the room you are booking. This software is really one of the best thing that has happen to our facility. I have introduced Skedda to all my friends with facilities like ours.

Cons

I have found no cons, the fees are straight to the point and a 5th grader can operated the software!

It has been a satisfying experience so far. Our company has been able to save costs and be even more organized with this application.

Pros

With Skedda we are able to do the following: - Automate our room bookings. no need for a personal assistant or receptionist. - Increases visibility. Since this is all online, nobody can make the excuse that they booked the room versus the other person.

Cons

The following are what I like the least/needs improvement: - Skedda could integrate with calendars or with mobile technology. For example, I could be texted if I had an upcoming meeting. Peope are not on mobile data all the time. - Improve the times. We could also have 10 minute, 15 minute, etc. length of meetings.

We were in a quandary because our local method of scheduling labs experienced a fatal blow. Now we don't have to worry because Skedda takes care of everything. Users are happy, I, as the administrator, am happy and the administration is happy because everything runs so smoothly. Also I love the fact that you can have multiple administrators--that means someone in the office can be a back-up administrator as well as someone in technology support. FANTASTIC Product!

Pros

We use Skedda to schedule our computer labs. The ease with which users can schedule their lab times is unparalleled. They can extend the times if they are going to be in there for more than one period. They can repeat the schedule with the click of a button if they are going to be going for multiple days. It's fast and easy--what could be better than that???

Cons

Regular trusted users can't delete their own reservations if they change their minds about the schedule. But it's really not a big deal for me to go in and delete their reservation. I just think that they would like that flexibility because sometimes plans change.
