Pros

The test your knowledge modules forces engagement and easy to use computer-based training

Cons

Some training is not detailed enough for covering the topic The now module is more cumbersome then the older module

Customer service has been great and we received our files and can select the courses we want to use in our LMS.

Pros

We switched over the BLR and received our Scorm files quickly. They are affordable and cover the required content we need.

Cons

I have no issues so far as we only joined recently

Overall I think it is a good platform but when you run into problems they are not resolved quickly

Pros

Great platform for a variety of training

Cons

The glitches that dont get fixed quickly and is hard to reach a customer support person

Safety Training has never been easier for us to track.

Pros

That it is Online and everything is easy to access, versus us using Classroom forums and tracking individually in a program like excel.

Cons

Trying to add more training modules to our already setup Library.

Overall, it's been easy to set up and work with. From start to finish, it is simple to onboard new employees.

Pros

The number of courses offered is a huge advantage. I'm able to get everything my employees need in one platform

Cons

I'm not a fan of the new format for selecting courses. They changed it a while back, and it's no longer as straightforward to browse through courses.

We use TrainingToday for new hire training. We have the gold subscription so that we can create our own courses. We like that it is easy to use on the administration side and the learner side.

Pros

Ease of use and easy to figure out how to navigate without a how to guide. I like the ability to create our own courses.

Cons

The only thing that is a little tricky is reporting without running a report. I wish there was a button I can click to see all recent completed training like we were able to in the old system.

From the sales department to the website break down, everyone has been so helpful

Pros

That it provides both online and ILT courses. I'm able to easily group my employees by "positions" making it so much easier to issue all of them their specific training by their group.

Cons

I think the only con I'd have to say is the fact that when I issue online training, it doesnt notify me when they complete their training. I would need to go onto the website search their name or the course to see if they even started.

Our overall experience with Training Today has been great.

Pros

It was easy to go through the course selection to set up monthly training for employees. Employees are notified of monthly training.

Cons

Setting up reports to get the information needed has been difficult to set up. Customer service was a help to get the reports set up and automated.

Pros

Excellent variety of training courses, lots of practical knowledge, and the transcripts often have additional information that might have been missed in a casual listening. The questions require some note-taking, but not an extreme level.

Cons

It is possible for someone to complete a class once, and that completion will be permanent. Even if a company has a requirement for the class to be retaken annually, the class does not reset from its completion status. Similarly, if a course is updated there is no way that I can see for the course to have its completion status reset so the user is required to take the course to get up-to-date knowledge. By allowing for 'resetting' the completion status for annual review or updated knowledge, this allows a company to ensure that its employees are receiving the most up-to-date knowledge. In the "Course Listing" screen, in the left side, under the 'Tags' section, there five tags that are English words/abbreviations, and several dozen alphanumeric tags that start with 'x'. Do those 'x' tags need to be displayed? In the "Course Listing" screen, in the left side, for language options, selecting 'English' does not 'suppress' all of the courses offered in Spanish. For example the "Accident Investigation" classes in both English and Spanish are displayed in the list even though only the 'English' option is selected. However for "Acute Respiratory Illness Pandemics" the Spanish version is not displayed. So some classes are configured correctly for different languages, and some are not.

Good, not great.

Pros

A wide variety of training available to learners.

Cons

Two items:1) Specify industry for training. Some titles sound like it would be excellent training, then the learner dives in and it is in a completely different industry that theirs. That information on the front would be great.2) The search function is limited, and only pulls based off exactly what is in the search bar. If a learner misspells anything, the desired results won't show.

Finishing the modules, googling the company, and trying out the chat (closed for the day).

Cons

The guidance provided in this interface is pat and superficial. There is certainly a way to introduce concepts that influence workplace attitudes, practices, and behaviors, but these modules say little that people don't already say to each other - when in a good mood. They are filled with stereotypical images reminiscent of pharma photo shoots, when workplaces - all of them - are almost all far from polished. To improve, a shorter set of "do this next time" happy endings should be replaced by interactive features at the outset of a scenario. There is enough LLM and natural language processing to generate some remarks that might actually be useful, and the process could be made engaging.

As a user, the software is very appealing and friendly. I have no experience with the administration of the software.

Cons

As a use of the software, I would like to have a way to report errors or glitches in the program. In one of the courses, all of the letter "f" were formatted as a box (wingding?) and made the narrative very difficult to follow. There is no way to report this type of thing.
