Customers can book online and I receive immediate notification. I don't have to do a thing!

Pros

They set up everything for me; no worries with that end of things at all. I would have never figured it out myself. Also, they are ALWAYS available in the chat window. I've never had a problem they didn't help me with immediately.

Cons

Well, I've been hounded by some other companies to switch at a lesser price. I'm loyal, though, and will not switch. But in comparison, they may be a bit more expensive.

Pros

Excellent customer service. They are always adding new features that make it more useful and efficient.

Cons

Over the years I've had many specific complaints about the software, but they have eventually made changes that addressed almost every one of those issues. The one remaining change I'd like to see is the ability to send invoices for a booking that allows the customer to pay a deposit online.

Pros

Their customer service is prompt and our rep is really helpful when I have questions about how to set up the system to meet my needs. Before Xola I used a different booking software and experienced a lot of abandoned bookings because the user interface was so clicky. Now with Xola I experience increased sales and the abandoned booking's feature is well worth it. I highly encourage anyone opening an escape room to use this platform!

Cons

The sales don't tie back to the correct sales person if an order comes in via the front end and it is confirmed through the back end of the software.

We have been using XOLA for a tour business for 3+ years. XOLA provides both the Customer and Business an easy to use platform that makes managing bookings as easy as possible. The technology in their "Automated Remarketing" feature delivers business for us even when we're not actively emailing, calling potential customers. XOLA's customer support is also always friendly, timely, and overall very helpful.

Pros

Customer Service, Mobil App, Data Tracking, Easy to learn and navigate

Cons

can only send confirmation emails to one email address within your company.

Our monthly costs are lower than with our previous system and the customer support is more robust.

Pros

The initial start up and basic functionality is good. Not overly complicated.

Cons

Too many obvious functions that are not included: no group name in client info, cannot make adjustments like deleting tax after a reservation has been saved, reporting functions are limited... I'm no programmer but feels like there are plenty of options that would be easy to add that just simply are not included.

I like the way it allows you to keep tabs on visits to "book now" and works to reconcile abandoned bookings.

Cons

The fact that you can't see communication with clients unless you navigate into the messenger column, it makes keeping track of weekly reminder functions difficult.

Pros

The flexibility and ease for customers who are making reservations. Also very easy for reservations and bookings on the back end.

Cons

When customers are making reservations it takes them to the next available booking date without much notice. We have had customers get confused with this.

\- Like any software, it sometimes lacks the exact solution you need, but Xola is customizable enough and the staff assigned to you are ultra-helpful and will help you find a solution that works.

Cons

Loses some of its functionality in chrome, and at times, trying to make changes to a reservation can be complicated.

Scheduling and reminders are fantastic. Overall Xola is great ! weekly payments are great, scheduling and ability to offer unlimited workshops

Pros

Ease of customer use- they rarely have an issue. Always works, works with my outlook calendar

Cons

A couple things : its confusing to cancel and then reschedule a client from my side. Changing the "book now" box to a custom box that matches my web page better and finally - limited wordpress use.

Pros

The main user interface is super easy to use and my employees can easily make reservations, check participants in, change reservations etc. without having to ask for help. Any time we have needed to call customer service/support , they have always been very responsive and solved our problems quickly. The reports section is a wonderful resource that saves me so much time. Reports are easily exported and converted.

Cons

You can't easily switch back and forth between accounts if you have multiple locations. This requires us to have multiple tabs open and signed in individually on each account. Program will sometimes freeze up in the middle of making a reservation/taking a payment.

Pros

Its easy to read what i have available to book for my guests. Whenever I have an issue someone is always quickly helpful.

Cons

It's not easy to use on the go. I do not sit in front of a computer so I need the system to work well on my cell phone and it's not always easy.

Much improved revenue streams and HUGE reduction in personal phone calls due to online booking absorbing the majority of client contacts.

Pros

Its awesome. Very user friendly and attractive on point of sale end and I appreciate all the revisions, updates and tweeks that seem to occur on a regular basis.

Cons

Not happy with the hiccups caused by refunds. I have brought this to the attention of Reps but there does not seem to be a cure. Like to see this fixed.

I have been using Xola for about 2 years. Due to change in location I am FORCED to change to another booking/marketing software company. I have been using the new company for about a month now. NOT EVEN CLOSE to Xola for ease of use . It is simple. Customer service is top notch. Xola CHAT is the way to go. I didn't think I'd like this at first. But it is super efficient. I can start a chat at 5 am when I'm doing my book work. I don't have to talk to anyone at this early hour. I don't have to hold my phone while entering data. My questions are answered and problems solved immediately. New company...I have to email or call. I choose to call as I usually need help immediately. Phone is not always answered and I have to leave a message. When someone calls me back, they usually tell me it's "so and so's" department and that they'll pass the message along....WHAT? To me, this is not 24-7 customer service.... Use... When changing a price for an item (which I do frequently for special events) it is a simple process and gratuity (since it is entered as a percentage) is automatically updated to the new base price. Unlike the new system I'm using (have to go back and update/add the gratuity. An additional step. Xola reports are detailed. They break down base, tax, processing, gratuity and refunds.... Although I haven't had much experience with the new companies reports, it seems to be lacking (so far).... I WISH I did not have to change over. If you're undecided, TRUST ME...Xola is the way to go....

coupon function is placed in a not easy to find location, android apps are strange , no reason why do you have two of them when none of them is perfect

Pros

Overall platform and modality of being able to receive bookings online. Being able to accept bookings on iPhone and all paper work and administration of booking now handled and all receipts, reminders sent to guests. The POS & service fee/percentage is very competitive and certainly an important factor as well.

Cons

We have seasonality associated with our offerings and the booking calendar does not default to the start date or month - which mean our guests are scrolling through blank calendar pages and not sure why or what's going on? Seems like that would be an easy fix but seemingly not as we have been waiting for over two weeks for update that has not happened yet. We were told yesterday it would but were sent email saying delay again. I'm not sure why they wouldn't have thought about that as they are dealing with tour operators and many our seasonal?

Pros

When training new hires, it sure makes that easy, since it is so intuitive. It's a 1000x better than our old system of pen and paper and it seems to me to be better than Fareharbor.

Cons

I least like the iOS app. I like that there is an app, but it seems to be missing a lot of the features available through the website on my browser. I don't expect every single feature to be available and maybe there is more than I'm aware of, but I definitely think the app could use some work.

I've yet to find the perfect booking system but we did take a pass on Xola after the free trial. When we initially looked at it, the model of charging clients a service fee for the booking was extremely off putting. At this point, they have different models to work with which include a flat monthly fee which is much more palatable. If we ever get upset at our current booking system, we would probably move to Xola next.

Pros

\- Flexible & easy to use - Intuitive - Mobile aps & desktop availability - Very nice interface

Cons

Not really any helpful resources to get your problem solved. You can solve it over chat but that can be annoying at times. You can't integrate with MailChimp or TripAdvisor Review express. Requests don't seem to get applied very quickly.
