Quick access that is easy to use

Pros

The software is very intuitive to use and they continually seem like they are adding valuable new features. Even on weekends I will get a response usually within hours or even minutes.

Cons

I wish it had more mobile functions that I could do from my phone that I need to do from the computer but even many of these have gotten better recently.

Napa Valley Paddle (NVP) has been booked one to two months in advance for some time now, and with business ramping up for the summer XOLA software has changed our lives. It saves us a tremendous amount of time and is very effective 'softening' customer anxiety with respect to securing a reservation. Being a Bay Area small business owner I would compare this software to the signs along our freeways showing driver times. Traffic can be extremely frustrating whether you are behind the wheel of a car or behind a computer screen waiting for 5 o'clock arrive. Xola software gives customers real-time, instant access to the calendar and the ability execute there OWN reservation. So, we no longer have to deal with our customers throwing "email elbows" wondering if they will land a slot on our tour. And the calls we do get often result in us adding tours to the schedule. In this business customer service is the battlefield. Xola software pays for itself and then some - one of the best decisions we've made in 2014

I was able to print my guest list and and being able to run the reports I needed. Also I liked that I was able to refund guests when needed and check availability on the calendar.

Pros

What I liked most was being able to book all my reservations and find them when needed. Also to be able to refund people if necessary.

Cons

I don't remember much of issues I had with the software.

Our Xola experience has been great! From the obviating process to now, we’ve done well. I honestly credit Xola for part of our success because of how easy it is to use!

Pros

I love the ease of use for our customers. What we’ve learned is that our customers are able to purchase their tickets for our tours with ease. We’ve gotten compliments on how simple our process is.

Cons

I’d say what I like least is there are features I with we had that haven been implemented yet. For example, the ability to duplicate a tour. I’ve had to call in twice now to get this done because it doesn’t exist. This is minimal, but it has been a small challenge for us.

Pros

It is pretty easy to use. There isn't much I like about it.

Cons

I don't like the refund process the summary especially The fact that they take there 3% right after a booking Customer support at other places wil do things for you

Pros

Xola's overall ease of use is what is most impressive. It makes training staff a breeze. My staff is able to quickly learn Xola through interactive videos and very clear functions. We have received multiple complements from customers on the attractive layout of the booking software and the thoroughness of the confirmations, post booking.

Cons

There are some kimitiona to the software that come down to very specific scenarios. Though they have been fairly good about addressing these issues. Customer service is quick to response but the quality of assistance can very depending on who you get paired up with.

Front office ok, there is nothing PRO to write except the abandone booking view even that they don't give you the contact just an email follow up!

Cons

Slow, Very hard to navigate, Hard to see to all my employees including me, App it's a straight nightmare, See reviews.....Big Mistake!!!

My experience with xola has been great and I also like the fact that they are continuing to grow and develop new things to change or add to make the software even better keeping up with time and market industry staying on top of things in developing new and more ways to use the software.

Pros

I love this software I use it every day for my Escape Room. It does everything I need all in one place to me it is exactly what I need for my booking software for escaperooms

Cons

nothing least about it but one thing is the ability to stop negative reviews from being posted that's the only thing everything else I love it.

24 hour experience only it can not be extended to a flexible experience (ex: 3 days, 3 hours per-day) with a flexible guide assignment

It's a fantastic peice of software with first class support.

Pros

The customer service was and is absolutely fantastic. It is rare for software to have good real people customer service but vital when you run a tour company and may gave a booking issue with clients/ guests standing infront of you.

Cons

It should integrate with Viator more completely and the fees be lower on large ticket bookings such as ours. Fee may put off customers.

Pros

Easy to use as an operator and the front end is built to be very user friendly. Full app functionality makes sure every manager has Xola at their fingertips. The updates keep making the platform better and better.

Cons

The platform is so simple and easy to use that it sacrifices some of the options to customize. (However, most of our concerns have been added in through updates)

Easy booking platform to navigate with excellent customer support, which is a crucial aspect of using a reservation system.

Pros

Xola offers straight forward booking services. The dashboard FAQ and demos offer the chance to learn about the program easily. Customer support is always there to assist and the team is knowledgeable and ready to walk you through the steps and provide thorough explanation.

Cons

I understand they are still learning all the unique features each business requires but they take note of requests and do their best to produce functions to accommodate. Once you get to know the program a business can fully utilize all functions to increase profit.

Advance purchase and daily ACH deposits are great. Having client emails will be helpful too.

Pros

The software is easy to use and mostly intuitive. Over the past few years a number of features have been added to make it more user friendly. Customer service is very responsive. Site has very few "down" times and only the occasional issue with international customers having interface issues. Overall, we are pleased.

Cons

There is still room for improvement. The two most annoying issues are: occasionally clients make errors entering contact email information. I cannot edit the email to help customer if they are a return client (we have a 70% return rate). System will not allow edit to a preexisting email address. Second, have have 40+ guides. There is no way to alphabetize the list of my guides when assigning them to tours. They are listed in order of joining my team. This ends up making guide assignment cumbersome. Finally, Xola is expensive. I am reluctant to have customers pay a 6% additional fee and absorb cost myself. That cost is significant and concerning.

Easy to use, easy for guests to use, pretty much meets all my needs of a reservation system

Pros

I like that it doesn't take much time to book a customer. The user interface is easy for multiple people to use it.

Cons

Limited functionality, mostly due to the fact that the interface is oversimplified. Limited reporting, and there are often "work arounds" for tasks that usually would be very simple.

Pros

It is very user friendly and easy to manipulate. The customization makes our small business look like a Fortune 500 Company! The customer support is amazing.

Cons

There are a few things we would like to change but aren't able to. Little things really. Most of all the option to enter a past booking Customers bookings listed chronologically Consolidation of customer list More than 1 email option available for confirmation notices (so it can be emailed to their guests) Payment options as in making multiple payments, instead of one lump A way to un-cancel a booking (people change their mind) A way to choose whether or not to notify a customer when canceling a booking.

Keeping track of groups, adjusting specifications per group, viewing the calendar and the list of groups for each given day of the year.

Pros

I have had a great experience with customer care at XOLA. They really take their time to walk you through the steps and are always available for questions. It takes me less than 3 minutes to book a group, have it printed, and submit to departments, which saves me a lot of time, as Fort Ticonderoga books hundreds of groups May-July. It is also helpful that I'm able to adjust guests. I think my favorite feature about this software is the "edit listing" option. A lot of our groups have specific accommodations/pricing.

Cons

I don't like how I'm the only one with access to the software. It would be helpful for other departments to be able to logon and see the groups we have booked--however, I believe this can be changed if we decide to upgrade to the next level in the software.

Pros

Online, immediate, Customer support. The customer support is friendly and knowledgeable. If they are unsure of how to assist you, they will call to discuss and talk you through a difficult task. This has been most helpful for me, as I am tech impaired.

Cons

Sometimes needed changes take a while to implement. Sometimes changes dont happen until a year or so, but they do eventually get done.

It's been one year we're using Xola and we are 100% happy with the software. It's very intuitive, fast and completely adapted to the way we run our business. We use a lot the mobile app which is very easy to use when we are out of office. The guide management feature is a great time saver: we don't need to remind our guides when they have a tour with us. Probably one of the best booking softwares on the market.

Pros

I really enjoyed the user-friendliness with Google calendars and it’s ability to adapt to the schedule. Notifications sent to Gmail and notifications 30 minutes before tour really helped keep my schedule locked down and fulfill my daily duties.

Cons

I do not like having to forward my responses to the tour office separately. Should be a bit more fluid with response being sent directly to your office and not forwarded.
