The Direct Booking Engine: This is Lodgify's "bread and butter." The website builder is incredibly intuitive, allowing you to create a professional-looking site that actually converts. Great customer service every time I have needed them, they have been super helpful, patient and kind. That is important to me today more than ever!

Pros

Streamlining the amount of work, it takes as a property manager, is what I was looking for. Lodgify allows multiple properties with customized pricing, guest communications and more. It has been pretty easy to use and what is not clear, they are happy to explain. This has been a great tool for me.

Cons

Because messaging is in multiple places it takes me much longer than it should to know what I am working with. I think that process could be set up in a cleaner format.

### "App Doesn’t Work – Avoid"

Lodgify was sold as a complete solution, but the app simply doesn’t work. After 3 weeks, I still had no usable features, yet no refund was offered.

App is extremely slow and often unusable Vrbo sync still didn’t work after 21 days Booking.com connection took more than a week Channel manager sometimes doesn’t load on laptop neither Sales team oversells features (e.g., EFT payments possible, but not if you sync Vrbo) Refund refused (“cannot provide monetary compensations for every technical issue”), and onboarding took longer than the 14-day cool-off period, so I couldn’t even test before losing the right to a refund

After reviewing your case, we’d like to clarify a couple of points: The connectivity issue with Vrbo is due to a bug on their side, which unfortunately means the messages are not always reaching guests as expected. Our system is sending them correctly, but we’re dependent on Vrbo’s fix. Regarding the technical issues with Booking.com, the initial connection request was missing requirements, which delayed the process. Once the correct information was provided, the connection was completed on September 11. We understand how important reliable syncing is for your business, and we’re actively following up on these issues with the relevant partners and teams. My overall experience as been a 9/10. Again, with the exception of a few minor reporting bugs and the lack of some (nice to have) features, Lodgify has delivered on all fronts. I would recommend (and have recomended) this PMS for anyone needing to manage their listings on multiple platforms.

Pros

I have been using Lodgify (Pro) over the last year I have found it to be very useful in managing my two listings across Booking, VRBO, and Airbnb. Additionally, the website builder was also very easy to use and set up. The security of the site seems fairly standard with a 2FA option that I use. Customer support is very helpful with the option to chat or call, and the onboarding process was individualized. Payment for the platform is again fairly standard with the options to pay by month or by the year and the payments are auto drafted. All in all, I have found the platform to be a fair value for the money.

Cons

I have noted a couple of bugs in some of the reporting tools that come with the Pro level subscription. most notably, when Lodgify records the number of nights book they are actually reporting on the number of days booked. This is def not the industry standard as we charge per night in most cases. I have reported the issue months back and it has not be corrected. This particular bug has a downstream effect on other reports such as ADR as well as others. One feature Lodgify does not support and I hope it does soon is the ability to include short videos to the website. This is particularly useful for property walkthroughs and for compelling landing pages.

### "Best way to setup a direct holiday rental website"

Hugely successful. We get regular direct bookings. People often find us on Google maps after first finding us on Airbnb or Booking.com. We are now taking bookings for our second summer and even though it’s still only February we already have more bookings than last year. Around 50% of bookings come direct, saving a tonne of commission fees that would otherwise go to Airbnb and Booking.com

Pros

With Lodgify I was able to make a professional direct booking website for our gite in France. It synchs calendar availability with Airbnb and Booking.com. Very easy to use and I had my website ready to use within the trial period, making this a zero risk purchase decision. Lodgify made it easy to integrate with a secure payment processing service (Stripe). We use the automated price optimisation facility which gives me a lot of confidence that we are maximising both our daily price and occupancy. The AI help system is REMARKABLE! Virtually all questions I have had were quickly solved. And when I needed human tech support that has been quick and super helpful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever had from a software company. Help articles on subjects like SEO have helped me further improve performance. Our property now ranks top for our main search criteria and we have direct bookings via Google maps.

Cons

Integration with Vrbo was too difficult. But that has since been solved and in truth the technical problems were the fault of Vrbo whose technology stack is a hodgepodge of old systems held together with sticky tape, the result of years of acquisitions and cobbled together integration.

### "Great Support and Clean UI, After a Rough Onboarding"

The onboarding experience was so-so and, honestly, pretty frustrating. I felt like I was handed off to customer support to figure things out instead of being guided through a clear process. The Vrbo integration was especially confusing, and Lodgify wasn’t very helpful there. Thankfully, I found a great contact at Vrbo who knew exactly how to set it up and helped me get everything working. Now that everything is running, the platform is much easier to use and quite powerful. The tech support team, in particular, has been fantastic—they’re responsive, proactive, and genuinely go out of their way to help, which is more than I can say for the onboarding experience. Overall, it’s a strong tool once you’re past the initial setup hurdles. I can see why many stay away given the onboarding process.

Pros

The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the customer service is truly top-notch. The tech support team goes above and beyond to help fix issues and make sure things work properly. Once everything is set up, managing listings and operations becomes very straightforward.

Cons

Some of the workflows for the website and listings feel unintuitive. For example, I sometimes have to publish changes and then go back into the backend to undo or adjust things for them to properly reflect across platforms. It’s a bit of a workaround—odd, but it does work.

I couldn’t fault it really! I’ve had a really great experience with the software and support team. The onboarding process was simple and easy and I don’t think I would ever change my software from Lodgify!

It would be good for Lodgify to show the price of the payout we get on air bnb if that was ever possible - it currently shows the figure before air bnb commission and for accountancy reasons potential refunds it would make it easier to work out what’s is needed

Very happy with the functions, ease of use, and integrations with Air bnb and VRBO. I would recommend Lodgify to any other vacation rental owners.

The reports are only available with the premium subscription. Sometimes there is a delay in messages received from Air BnB customers.

Pros

Intuitive, Very easy to understand and use. Excellent on-boarding and on-going support. Unlike other services that drop you after you have subscribed and paid for service. The customer support staff are very competent, knowledgeable and patient.

The website development page can use some improvement by offering more options and AI assistance to improve your website.

I have been so impressed with the support. From the minute, I signed up I have been helped along the way. If it’s something simple, I email and I get a response back usually in less than 12 hours. I also realize that some of the expense of the website with Lodgify would be offset by lower expenses from VRBO. I am very, very happy with my choice.

Pros

The support of the team has been amazing both via email and phone. And the on boarding to get my webpage up was really fantastic and the person who helped me with above and beyond. I am over the moon about my website.

Cons

I would say the only downside has been that it changed how VRBO works. One thing that was a surprise was that I now collect the VRBO payments. I did have a stripe account already so that was a plus. And since I added on a Booking .com listing as well, the things I needed to do for VRBO were the same thing as I needed to do for Booking.

Overall, my experience with Lodgify has been very positive. As a newer host with just one property, I’ve found it to be extremely user-friendly and approachable without feeling overly complicated. It gives me exactly what I need to run things smoothly now, without being overwhelming. At the same time, I really appreciate that it’s built to scale. As I grow, I feel confident the platform can grow with me instead of needing to switch systems down the road. I also value the integrations with other services, like insurance, which help simplify the operational side of hosting and make everything feel more streamlined and professional.

Pros

I absolutely love Lodgify. What makes it stand out is that it brings everything together into one unified platform, instead of juggling multiple systems. It makes managing listings across different channels so much easier and far more organized. I especially appreciate how simple it is to track everything in one place without feeling overwhelmed. The fact that it also includes my own direct booking website is a huge bonus and makes my business feel more professional while giving me more control. Overall, it has streamlined my workflow and made managing my rental so much easier. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a centralized, user-friendly solution. Also the customer service has been excellent

Cons

Initial setup requires some upfront effort to connect all platforms and optimize settings. Once it's done it's great, but getting there takes time.

### "Happy customer"

Great Experience in using the tool. Also when you have a question the support is great and follows up as agreed.

Pros

It is a simple to use product that does what it promises to do. Even when you only have one property, it is still very usefull.

Cons

The propertymanagement environment is still a bit Messi, but still is improved constantly. I believe this will get better in coming releases.

My experience has been great so far, my property has more visibility and it easy to manage, i will argue it is good value for money the customer support has been great as well

Pros

The ease at which yoy can have your property liested on mamy platforms and onlmy y need to manage it from one

Cons

Nothing to note at the moment, i will say continous improvement on the general user interface allowing for easier axcess to tools

### "New STR Owner "

I'm brand new to being a STR property owner and even before we closed on the duplex I knew I wanted to list my property on multiple OTA's and make my own direct booking site. I did my research and Lodgify was the solution I chose. Still getting to know the system!

Pros

I find it easy to navigate around the platform and customer support has been extremely responsive. I need to dive into the website builder more in order to create a more interactive platform, but I'm glad Lodgify gives me that opportunity.

Cons

Lag time exists on email correspondence I receive directly from airbnb to appear in the Lodgify system.

My experience with Lodgify so far has been pleasant. The representative was succinct, detail-oriented, and did a wonderful job presenting information in a way that was easy to understand. They were patient, clear, and professional — a true asset to your company.

Pros

What impressed me most about Lodgify was the representative I worked with. They were able to meet me exactly at the point I was at in the process, understand my situation, and then clearly explain and walk me step-by-step through to the point I needed to get to. That human ability to listen, adapt, and guide was what made me a customer today. No amount of automation, tutorials, or knowledge bases could have replaced the clarity and trust that came from that conversation.

Cons

Nothing yet. My hope is that the type of personal, human-centered experience I had today translates into a long-term business relationship.

Good company , they respond fast . You can speak in your own language to a representative . Easy to use web builder .

Pros

Very easy to setup , you don’t need to be a web designer. Online help available . Preset themes makes things easy for a novice

Cons

You are limited on what you can adjust on there preset web builder . It’s still good . Very useable , looks professional

Be able to operate all channels from a single platform

Cons

That the sync with Booking is not available for "Booking Request" configuration and that the PM Modules and Reports available at Ultimate are not adding too much value.

### "Lodgify is better than I expected!! Highly recommend!"

My overall experience with Lodgify has been better than I expected. For months, I researched various platforms such as Ownerrez, Hostaway, Hospitable, Uplisting, Guestsy, etc. I was extremely hesitant to move forward with any of them due to mixed customer feedback from all these platforms. I had a hard time finding a good source of truth. I finally decided to take the risk and try Lodgify based on all their features. Especially the website builder which I heard was amazing (this is what sealed the deal). I can say wholeheartedly that I have no regrets. I am very happy with my decision and would recommend Lodgify to others. I am extremely impressed with how fast I was up and running and their excellent customer support team. No matter when I call, someone always answers and is able to answer my question right away.

Pros

There are so many things I like. For starters, their website builder was very easy to learn. Creating my first rental website was quick and if I ever got stuck I called customer support and they helped me right away. Integrating my OTAs to Lodgify was a seamless process (it did not cost a thing and the customer support was amazing). The customer support team set up time with me to ensure all my connections and information was working well. I was up and running in no time. Lastly, I can't say enough about the excellent customer support and service you can expect to receive from Lodgify. Whenever I have called with questions, they have been able to answer them. Their knowledge article base is very helpful. They make learning their system very easy.

Cons

I wish their Professional plan included ability to set up various bank accounts for multiple properties. I had to upgrade to the Ultimate plan for this feature but Lodgify was kind enough to give me a big discount.

### "Basic platform"

Meh. Nothing great to review. Just a bland platform with nonspecial bells or sparkles.

Pros

Ease of use and interactions with all of the booking sites.

Cons

The added costs for nearly everything othet than absolute bare minimum for the software. Want a simple report..you have to pay more for that, want to see your payment history from a vendor...you have to pay more for that, want to see metrics...you have to pay more for that. For $500 a year..you get zero reports, zero insight, just a basic platform. At minimum we receieve no less than 2 emails about "upgrading our plan" additional hundreds for basic reporting functions that should be included as bare minimum in your software. Often with 3rd party sites..messages do not come over to Lodgify misisng valuable and important communication from guests.
