Cons The first time I applied for the Gusto card it took a while before my fun’s were on my card and my deposit was not sent to my card right away. It is extremely easy to use and intuitive. Also, the customer service is top notch. Pros I am an HR professional who has tested dozens of HR and payroll systems. It is the perfect assistant to ensure that paystubs are done accurately, in a timely manner and allow for employees to have access to their tax documents. Pros As an employee I loved Gusto! It provided real time feedback and allowed me to see my most recent pay stubs down to the minute. I appreciated being able to follow it weekly. Cons The only downside I found with Gusto was the delay. Their software development department messed up my Paid Time Off and blamed in on me, without any proof (they said, 'the proof is because we say so') They ignored the employee termination date twice, costing me unrecoverable funds. Very clean UI with great hand drawn art before the days of A.I. art. Managing paystubs and requesting time off was very easy and enjoyable. I had a really good experience with using Gusto, until my company moved to a competitor provider. Pros I loved Gusto's simplified and easy to use GUI. It also had very nice minimalist art that was very cute and appealing. I enjoyed using it to track my paystubs and submit request to take paid time off. It is hands down a great payroll software. Usually you have growing pains in the first month but Gusto was so seamless to use and took a lot of the work off of my plate. If they had the integration with Rent Manager, it would be a 10/10 Pros Hands down, the best payroll platform I have used. I have used ADP, Paychex, and Paycom. It is easy to use. The support responds the same day. They have training within the platform, offer letters, and criminal screenings within the platform. Amazing. Cons I do not like that you cannot send a 90-day notification within Gusto. Sometimes, there is a probationary period, and that reminder would be beneficial. Cons There are some features that you can edit and customize on the Gusto mobile app but cannot update on the web version, and vice versa. We have to continually ask contractors to let us know when their invoice is online.
