Pros \-Ease of use -All that I needed was self-contained -Can be used across different consultant jobs Cons \-I'm still new-ish to the software so I haven't had a chance to find flaws. It's super easy to split checks into savings and checking accounts, and do all the little things that you should be able to do with your money. Pros Gusto is a huge improvement over the previous paycheck software my company was using. The user interface alone is so much more modernized. Cons There are limited navigation options on the side, which makes it a little difficult to figure out where to go edit your bank account direct deposit information, etc. Review Source HS Hunter S. It also lets you get part of your paycheck early if you need it which is super helpful. Cons The only con I've found is that there was no way to edit time off requests. So happy my boss choose this payroll method! Pros I love their emails every payday. They are a fun reminder that your check has made it into your account. it is also super easy to use, you can go in and see your PTO, sick days, tax info, everything is super user friendly. Pros It is very clear what is included and choosing plans is a breeze. The UI is great and their customer service is outstanding! Cons I really don't have any complaints about it. Pros I like how easy it is to look at a paycheck or schedule time off. It also shows all of my benefits nicely. Cons One thing I don't like is that it doesn't require you to do two-step verification. Pros The automatic feature for filing payroll taxes and w-2s is fast. All the technology makes everything accessible and it’s all simple and in one place. Cons Automatic health benefits just selecting a package seems sterile and most of my employees would like a more hands on, personal explanation of the benefits they’re receiving rather than just trusting a software. Accountant Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Cheapest, fastest, best service" July 27, 2016 4.5 Pros Their pricing is not only competitive, but scales linearly with the size of your organization - beating many other services handily price-wise for smaller companies, especially if you run bi-weekly or weekly payrolls. The ability to pay Gusto by month rather than by the payroll gives me flexibility in paying our employees more frequently without added cost. To top it all off, their customer service reflects their aim of taking on their relatively enormous competitors - they have an incredible support team. Cons They don't show net pay until after you hit submit. It makes grossing up bonuses a pain, but that's ultimately not a big deal. Plus, for how few times I've had to do it, it remains a possibility that they've got this functionality now and I'm just not aware of it. The area for viewing prior payrolls also bothers me, as I'd prefer something less flashy and more strictly functional (don't gate viewing prior payrolls by making me click to scroll the list down, Gusto, it's aesthetically pleasing but functionally it's an unnecessary hassle). Pros I think the best thing about GUSTO is support and the advice that experts offer when you need it, it can be chat, phone or email. Cons I have no complaints about this tool. Love that it integrates with other apps to save time and effort. Pros The pricing is very reasonable. It also integrates with some other popular apps, like expensify for quick reimbursements, and larger accounting suites, like QB. Also, it allows you to make charitable contributions automatically from your paycheck. Cons As a user, the interface was almost too simple. Some of the options are buried and not intuitive. Pros Gusto has the cutest emails and great animation. It is a really personal experience as a user. It makes a topic that is not usually engaging/fun very engaging/fun. Cons It was a bit hard to find certain documents, especially for tax season. The top bar navigation could be greatly improved.
