We have put additional resources into this feature to enhance the document loading of the platform. As for creating profiles, are you referring to groups? When creating a group the content role and project role are defined by what they can and can't do within the project. It is the best software to store all the important documents at one place with keeping the transaction process smooth. I really liked that you have an option to add users without them able to see who all is in the data room. Overall, it is a great product. Cons I think the ability to delete users or groups from the data room. I am not sure if I can do that, although, I was able to deactivate the users. I hope this can be improved in the future. Automatic indexing and view as group are some of my favorite featurs. Cons None really. Maybe drag and drop uploading could be reworked. Firmex is by the far the best VDR platform I've used (cost combined with functionality). Cons The process of allowing users to view certain documents within the VDR could be improved. For example, not having to setup permissions by group, but by user. Further, understanding when users are downloading information by receiving email notifications. As for reviewing user permissions, we offer multiple different methods to do this whether it be at the group level or the folder level with our view as tool which allows you to see what folders have been hidden from certain groups. Pros The dataroom is easy to set up and easy to use. As an administrator, it is easy to add users and control their access. The watermark feature is great as there is a timestamp of when documents are downloaded. Cons Downloading the entire database is not easy and takes a lot of time.
