### "Powerful time tracking software"

Overall, BigTime is a user-friendly software that helps us keep track of our business

Pros

With BigTime we never miss a thing, we attend meetings on time because of its powerful time tracking feature. The support team was very helpful while deploying the software.

Cons

The software offers limited billing options and some of our billing needs are not met. I hope in the future this software will be updated.

Time entry and project tracking. BTW, CSR was awesome! She is the first one to actually respond to an email with an actual solution. Better keep her!

Pros

Time tracking and the first level of project set up is good. It is fairly easy to work with once you take into account the cons below.

Cons

Lack of field name consistency is a huge issue. It makes it hard to do reporting. The same information has multiple field names so you have to test everything over and over to get the right data point. Also, you lack customized calculation fields - that is a major issue with the software. Any user should be able to create a custom calculated field for measurements.

### "Big Time for UNS"

Pros

Big Time is very easy to use. We love that we can set up and assign projects and have it integrated with our consultants calendars. We love the timekeeping piece and reporting.

Cons

Setting up tasks and allocations for long term projects can be time consuming.

We have been using BigTime for many years. If we ever do run into software issues, which is not too often, customer service is top notch and the resolution is quick and easy.

Pros

BigTime software is easy to use and input our staff time. Also it syncs with our Quickbooks desktop which is vital to our daily operations.

Cons

The reports could be more user friendly and customizable.

### "No implementation support"

Not happy. We have asked for a full refund.

Pros

App is a nice feature for mobile time entry. Updated interface is better than older software.

Cons

This company was heavy on the sales side with relentless calls but has been completely ghosting us on implementation support. After numerous calls and support tickets, they have only directed me to online videos. All we want is to spend an hour with a support agent to ensure the correct setup to avoid lost worktime.

We use Bigtime mostly for time and expense tracking and the software works quite well for that.

Pros

BigTime covers all of our needs for time and expense tracking as well as connectivity with QuickBooks. The reporting is quite robust as well.

Cons

The learning curve for BigTime is pretty steep. I spend a lot of time in the knowledge base, as well as with customer support. Once figured out, the functionality is great though. There are some bugs, but BigTime customer support is always on top of helping with correcting my software/reporting problems.

I don't import to an accounting package and would like to be able to mark time as paid in order to run an unbilled report.

### "Easy and effective"

It captures and organizes my team´s times and expenses, providing great operational and management reports, plus information for Project Management EVA (Earned Value Analysis) control.

Pros

The simple and straight forward interface, information structure and ease to operate.

Cons

There isn´t anything I don´t like. The only issue I had so far was exporting reports to Excel 365 on a Windows 10 laptop.

The program is user-friendly in terms of time entry, project management, budget tracking, and establishing allocations. Cons

As with many programs, there is a time-intensive learning curve to rolling this out across a team. We've found it improves efficiency in the long-term but is an adjustment considering its complexity.

Better project tracking for project managers

Pros

Timekeeping and tracking are super easy. You can report on most anything and being able to export info is great. The support staff is quick, efficient and friendly.

Cons

A few things take a lot of steps to use effectively - you'll have to enter info, run a report to see the results and then change the info.

Once you are running it is OK. Our previous bookkeeper had several customized reports that worked well. Good for ease of timesheet.

Cons

I own a small engineering firm. We hired a new bookkeeper and she had questions and needed a bit of training. Nothing out of the ordinary. To get to a human is impossible (please fill out a work ticket with your issue and we will respond to you when we get to it). To talk to a human is impossible. As owner I have called 4 times requesting support. We have repeatedly ask to PAY for support and how this is done-- the email response was Yes. No pricing and no next step. Spoke to service manager who said she would address immediately and that was a week ago with crickets ever since. DO NOT expect any level of human support. Expect support will have to be extracted at an extreme cost of time and effort.
