### "Great Onboarding and Support"

Ryan Anderl has been great. He has been very patient with all our requests and questions. He records our training tapes and I am embarrassed how much we interrupt him and talk over him. He often lets me 'drive' during the sessions, so that I can learn where the options are instead of just doing it for me.

Pros

Lots of flexibility, lots of robust functionality. Provided time keeping, invoicing, project budgets. Remote employees able to use the product. Compatible with Quickbooks.

Cons

Because there are so many options, it is a bit confusing. It is not a plug and play program. But online training and personal assistance from Ryan Anderl have been outstanding.

Reason for choosing BigTime

Lots of functionality. Lots of flexibility. Provided time keeping, invoicing, project budgets.

the software is nice, the implementation guy and the support team does not seem to know it well enough

ease of use, sync with Lacerte, cloud, layout and features

Cons

Implementation person assigned to us (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]) lacked good knowledge on the software and was vague and unclear on best practices of the software, did not have a full understanding of features, import capabilities, etc. We purchase the data import package and that process was bad, the numbers did not match ours, he just told us the import was done and provided not reports to show the numbers matched. Also the WIP import time was not able to be billed and he pushed us to support.

### "First Impression of Big Time"

My experience with Big Time has been pretty positive. We hope Big Time will help save us time with manually entering items and help atomize this process by being able to export data to import into our accounting system. The mobile app will help our employees turn in expense reports and time sheets on time and be able to snap a picture of their receipt for future input.

Pros

Product is very user friendly. Many options to customize fields, invoices, and reports. Communication with support and representatives is great. So far it is very easy to use.

Cons

There are a couple of features that are missing pertaining specifically to my company. There is not a direct vendor bill field or a way to create a contract for clients that have billable rates/fees that could vary month to month. But there is a work round to achieve this.

Vorex was not very user friendly. Many features available on the system we were not able to use due to still being in development. Reporting function was very hard to use. No way to export invoice data to import into our accounting system. Customer support and representatives hard to get a hold of and get issues fixed.

It's a love/hate relationship but when I start getting anxious Support is right there and quick to respond to assist.

Pros

Very easy to use as an employee to add time and see individual reports.

Cons

Submit button isn't on the time sheet so you have to leave the page to submit your time sheet.

BigTime has many useful tools that we're using several times a day across the entire company. It's helped with communication, management & all our invoicing needs. Easily the most useful unification system we've implemented.

Cons

Initially there were concerns with compatibility along with concerns about cost. Thankfully it integrated well with our current networks & ended up cheaper than we anticipated.

Pros

BigTime is a very powerful time, expense, budget, and billing tracking software. It's fairly easy for employees to track time and expenses and offers powerful reporting capabilities and a lot of customization when drafting and sending invoices. The on-boarding experience was smooth, albeit a bit work intensive, and customer support continues to be extremely helpful and responsive. It integrates more completely with QuickBooks than the software we were using previously, so is helping us cut down on small bookkeeping issues we used to run in to.

Cons

We don't find the UI to be the most intuitive, and it lacks any visual images of the data or numbers. The capabilities of the software definitely outweigh these downsides, though.

We wanted more robust reporting functionality, and a way to budget for labor hours and expenses in a single budget line item. BigTime definitely helped us solve both of these issues.

### "Useless with Quickbooks. SUPPORT inept."

After devoting many hours to BigTime I realized they would NEVER be able to meet our needs. I had paid for a full year and so asked for reimbursement for the remaining time in the contract because BigTime COULD NOT PERFORM. Management denied my request. This is foolish, short sighted management. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Pros

Customer service was polite and fast , but NEVER SOLVED A SINGLE ISSUE.

Cons

BigTime DID NOT INTERGRATE WELL WITH QUICKBOOKS. Whether we invoiced with QB or BigTime there was always duplicate time. I was contantly merging jobs and zeroing out duplicate invoices. Jobs often posted incorrectly so I couild not get a complete report. SUPPORT repeatly said they were working to solve the issue and would give me a "back door" method which duplicated work. Time did not always get posted so we UNDER INVOICED several jobs. Again SUPPORT WAS UNABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. Entering jobs was laboriously. Certain clients would not accept additional jobs and again SUPPORT WAS UNABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

The chat feature. Customer support are awesome and always help you work through the issues

Some of the screens are not conducive to all the changes we would like. But BigTime took our thoughts down and hopefully in newer versions they will be available.

### "Lightweight and Flexible"

My company has been using BigTime for over a year now. We're a busy office of 25 architects and logging hours and expenses is one of the lesser enjoyable activities of the day. Before we were using Deltek and found their interface too exhausting and burdensome for the team to actually use the software or for me to learn how to use it. My experience with BigTime has been great so far. The interface is intuitive and has allowed for more accurate data from the team and more efficient administrative processing on my end. There is the occasional glitch: sometimes I can't export to a spreadsheet but I can export to a word document, sometimes approving expenses doesn't work and I can't figure out why and the mobile app won't upload expenses for only some of the staff, etc. But these aren't the end of the world and response from customer support is always timely, friendly and efficiently solves the problem. We don't currently use it to its full capabilities, but we hope to soon. In the future, it would be great if BigTime were able to sync with an HR and/or payroll app.

A little slow to start, but we are getting there. One recommendation I have is to spend more time educating BigTime reps on the specific practices and business model your company uses, so that then BigTime can guide you on the best set up versus what we did which was try to learn all the functionality that BigTime offers and then give thought to how it would best work for us. We did it backwards which cost us about three weeks of loss time.

Pros

The support. Our implementation rep, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\].

Cons

There has been a couple of glitches or areas (caught one bug so far) that I think could use some improvement, which is why I gave a few four stars versus all five stars. But we are still learning the software so we hope to be fully operational soon, and I will check back and update you on my new experience in a couple of months.

Very positive. It has been a long implementation process to get our historical data into program, but we are coming along very well with the support of CHAT and help feature. It has been a steep learning curve, but well worth it. Continue to learn more about the capabilities of the program every day...this is good!

Pros

I love the customization features of BigTime and how simple the layout is. I have also found the live chat function extremely helpful for setting up our software with the help of an agent in real time.

Cons

There could be even more customization options to provide more individualization.

### "Great Customer Service for a Newbie"

Terrific customer service for a lost newbie.

Pros

It makes keeping the attorney's time records easy and the customer service is top notch. I got thrown into doing monthly billing rather unexpectedly when our last lady left, so I had lots of newbie questions that Custome Rep helped me out with over multiple chat sessions.

Cons

Some features hard to figure out on your own. I had to use the chat feature a couple of times to get help on the system.
