Outstanding - implementation was thorough and supported. The training we received set us up for success. And the system is easy to use!

Pros

Ease of implementation and use! The reporting feature is robust, and the Personnel Action Forms make employee changes so easy!

Cons

The entire system works well for my needs. I haven't found a feature yet that I don't like. I haven't incorporated every Paycom feature yet, but everything is great so far.

Overall my experience has been great. From what we were using previously to now, it has been a drastic change. We get much more interaction and support through Paycom.

Pros

I like that it has streamlined my HR items and eliminated my need for paper. The Paycom staff are always very helpful and willing to assist when needed. Overall it has made my day-to-day operations much more efficient.

Cons

The item that I like least about Paycom is scheduling. It does seem that the scheduling feature is more for a hospital setting or consistent schedules, which does not work for what we need.

I have been in my role and using Paycom for about 9 months and feel like I have an overall good sense of how to utilize the key features. I am often overwhelmed by the amount of features and regularly unsure of what each function does. I think Paycom is capable of doing all of the tasks I want it too but I have no idea how to make changes to get to that point.

Pros

I love having the ability to access most features from my phone. The team is also very responsive although sometimes don't always have a quick answer, it is pretty easy to get in touch with a representative.

Cons

It is incredibly challenging to figure out where/how to make changes to certain things. Or seems to be multiple locations to make changes that are very similar. A good example is adding a pay code to a specific employee, often times we need to go to the employees profile to see what labor allocation profile they are in, then go to the labor allocation profiles and either create a new one or find an existing one that allows the correct access, then go back to the employees profile to change it to this and then also edit the user access profile for the manager to be able to see this employee. It is just a lot of steps for simple procedures. This is just one example but feel similar about other features.

After our account was accurately set up, paycom was a little easier to use. Needs a better set up process and training.

When we first started, customer service and the communication and set up process was a bad start. too many representatives changing so often.

I have found Paycom to be very easy to use for all the basic functions, payroll, HR, reporting, etc. The more difficult areas which take time to master is understanding how the performance reviews, discussion forms & personal action forms can work together.

Pros

Every module is within Paycom - that was the reason they were ultimately chosen as our payroll vendor. This allows for no outside glitches within the software; everything is similar in understanding as you move through the options.

Cons

Sometimes when trying new modules there is a learning curve to understand how everything works together. And to remember when you do some things only once a year, like benefit rollovers, year-end processes like ACA.

I have used Paycom for over 5 years and have recommended switching to Paycom when I encounter a business using another platform. Paycom's sales, onboarding, and support divisions communicate effectively and help clients feel secure and learn how to get the most out of the Paycom system.

Pros

Paycom's system feels organic rather than cobbled together like other systems. Paycom listens to their clients and may make adjustments to their system if the recommendation has merit. I appreciate their dedicated team customer service model. I always get an answer.

Cons

Some team members are not as experienced as others in all aspects of Paycom. Regardless, it seems that the team always finds a subject matter expert to get answers/results for clients.

Paycom has been a very appreciated platform within my company. Employees have had raving reviews and it has given me the ability to focus on higher level items without having to worry about data entry. It gives employees ownership of their wishes and make changes live when they want.

I have used Paycom since early 2022 and prefer it over other HRIS systems. The reports section makes it so easy to select items that I am pulling for reports!

Pros

Very easy to use, love the easy select reports I can Call to get help, or use the help tools Have used with several companies now and feel confident in Paycom ability to deliver a good product

Cons

I hear that the breakdown of our billing is not the easiest, but this is not my area of knowledge at this time.

Overall we use Paycom on the daily basis, it seems to cover the majority of what we need for our HCM needs.

Pros

The all in one solution makes things easier as I only have to enter an employee one time. It keeps me from being redundant in my work.

Cons

Customer service is hit or miss. While their customer service is great if you get a tenured rep, if you get someone who is not tenured it is a mess trying to get them to understand what you are trying to explain and the issue at hand.

Bad, we thought it would save us time and money and boy was i wrong, it cost more per payroll not to mention how much more team member time thad to go into simple payroll processing each week.

The support was adequate, but it had to be becasue you will need a lot of support with this platform

Cons

The most overly complicated, bloated and poor designed platform I have every used. Right from the start we realied we had made a mistake and it was too late.

It has rough at first, but it has gotten better with learning the software and teaching others how to use it. It is a great product.

Pros

I like that employees can clock in and out with ease on their phones, make corrections to their time, manage tax changes, direct deposit changes, and personal information changes. Also, I like that we can go through webinar trainings of the new product features every month.

Cons

I felt that the initial implementation was done so quick that we had a lot of trial and error before understanding some of the components of the software.

My experience has been good with Paycom. The staff at Paycom is very helpful and if they do not have the answer for you, they will find someone who does.

Pros

Something I really enjoy about Paycom is the training you get. If you sign up for one of the trainings and you miss it, you can still watch it later. The other kind of training besides the webinars is the step by step instructions how to process anything.

Cons

It is hard to find where some things are located on the site. You have to go here, then here, then here to find a lot of things.

I enjoy using Paycom. I have used several other HR platforms and Paycom is very competitive. Their service model needs some work and some of their modules need updating, but I would consider them highly competitive in the HRIS space.

Pros

East of having a connected data base with several connected modules so limited integrations are needed.

Cons

Some of the modules are outdated (leave administration); Lacks certain modules---employee relations; recognition. Service module is very poor. No true client facing ticketing platform to monitor open tickets. It's basically call your Paycom rep and hope that things get resolved.

### "Still wouldn't recommend "

Overall I have had an unfavorable experience with Paycom, but it is improving. Unfortunately due to integration I would still not recommend.

Pros

One stop shop. I like the trainings and report building. Blake Kennedy knows everything. We have been through several reps don't respond or don't know, but we have a good one now.

Cons

Integration was a nightmare and I will never recommend Paycom because of the horrible experience we had. They even would place blame on us for things. Everything is extra. Items are billed per paycheck and not in lump sum or per actual user. Other payroll companies have been able to charge supplemental tax and normal tax on the same check automatically and Paycom cannot. The tax department is almost impossible to deal with. They just have us upload things over and over again and never really resolve an issue until I call and complain or even figure the issue out myself by.

Love using Paycom! Employees efficiently punch in with department, project, and on-site and off-site status. Employees also have access to posting comments and submit punch request to supervisors before approving their checks.

Pros

The ease of use within both the APP and the online version. Easy of communication with customer support with both email and phone support. Paycom is a great value for money which includes features like reporting employee performances with ease of recruitment for advancements.

Cons

There only thing don't like about Paycom is the reports for Labor Allocation does not include the column with exact dollar amounts of the taxes paid by employer and total of all taxes paid for the labor expenses portion of job costing.

Easy to use and I've been pleased with it, as long as positive updates keep happening. Our specialist knows our company in and out and while it's best working with him to reduce explanation, the rest of the team steps in well.

Pros

It has a lot of on the go options that are helpful for managers out in the field. The customer service is always on point, we can resolve issues quickly.

Cons

Lots of bugs when new updates are rolled out. This often gets in the way of normal processing and can add a lot of time to the website refreshing. When in registers, the inability to look up your full population of people is frustrating.

### "Best HCM...Easily"

Having worked in several HCM environments, Paycom is easily the most well rounded and provide exceptional service.

Pros

Far and away, Paycom provides the best customer service in the space. They ensure that the end user and administrators can efficiently and effectively perform tasks without assistance. Both the client and admin sides of the platform are intuitive and easy to learn, even for beginners. We are loyal Paycom customers and have no intention of even considering other platforms.

Cons

While there are occasional hiccups, the support team is quick to reply and ensure resolution is swift.

I believe that my organization actually underutilizes everything that Paycom is capable of doing due to the complexity of the organization. I would recommend all companies at least talk to Paycom if they are thinking of using or changing a HRIS and Payroll systems.

Pros

Paycom's BETI has increase my workflow to the point that I am able to submit payroll a day earlier. We recently signed a 3-year commitment to them in order to receive the best pricing that we can get, and it is worth every penny. I find that the system is easy to use for day to day activities, and once you have been using it for 9 years as I have, you learn how to use the system to make it work for you and to be the hero to put out "fires" when they arise. For issues that I do not know how to do on my own, I know that my dedicated specialst or one of their team members will be able to either fix the issue or point me in the direction of how to solve it. In fact the support team and I have worked very closely over the years that they feel more like work friends. Paycom is an always evolving for the better both as an administrator and an employee. As I mentioned BETI has made my work life better because with the "Approve my Paycheck " feature, employees have been able to inform me of issues they see with their payroll before I start processing payroll rather than on Payday when reversing payments or additional physical checks would be needed to reconcile the situation.

Cons

My main issue is that Paycom does not work just by my thoughts alone, but nothing does. However if you have the settings for BETI set up correctly, it almost feels like that. Update days used to be a "hold your breath" day because the updates would improve one area, but then reset or cause issues with others. However, we were informed that Paycom is changing their update schedule from monthly to quarterly in order to give more time for testing.

### "Highly recommend Paycom for HRIS system"

Overall, the best HRIS platform I have worked with. The platform is easy to use, intuitive; their tax team and garnishment team is easy to work with. The customer service is always great as well.

Pros

More intuitive platform compared to others; ability to hook into carriers via API is great. Customer support staff is always great too!

Cons

Some out of the box reports aren't quite helpful and require further work. More summary level reports would be great.

Overall, I just love it! The system, the company and the support that me and my team gets is very valuable!

Pros

Most I like is my representative, \[sensitive content hidden\], who is always available, very knowledgeable, very patient and kind. This makes my work so easy when I have a support from person like him! Second, it's how it looks (bright and colorful) and the way everything is set up, that is usually very easy to use. I also like that PayCom is adaptive and always ready to listen to our feedback and make update/changes based on our needs.

Cons

Though I do really appreciate they Paycom constantly develops and improves everything in their system, I wish that new features were simply added to existing once versus very often the hole section can be changed so much that is hard to find something again especially if you do not use something very often by the time you need to use it again it can look completely different or in a very different spot and then you spend too much time trying to find something that could be done fast and easy.

My overall experience with Paycom has been very positive. It has helped improve efficiency within our HR and payroll processes and reduced manual work. The platform is reliable, organized, and continues to evolve with useful updates. It has made a noticeable difference in how we manage employee information and payroll, and it has helped create a smoother experience for both HR staff and employees

Pros

Paycom has been an excellent all-in-one HR and payroll solution for our organization. The system is very user-friendly and makes managing payroll, benefits, and employee data extremely efficient. I especially appreciate how employees can access their own information, submit requests, and make updates through the self-service feature, which saves our HR team a significant amount of time. The reporting tools are also very helpful and allow us to quickly generate accurate data when needed. Overall, Paycom streamlines processes that used to take much longer.

Cons

While Paycom is a great system overall, there can be a slight learning curve when first getting started, especially with some of the more advanced features and reporting tools. However, once you become familiar with the platform, it becomes much easier to navigate and use effectively.

I use Paycom daily for payroll, wage garnishments, ask here inquiries, and many more tasks. I have always had a great experience with learning new things and ways to be able to save more time in completing those tasks. Customer service has been a pleasure with understanding the assistance I am looking for and a speedy response. I would definitely recommend Paycom to any business.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of being able to navigate through the different features of Paycom. I work with many different aspects. When I find I am unsure of how to complete a task, I can easily navigate to the help center to be able to implement the information given to assist me further. Otherwise, the support team at Paycom has always been an excellent resource through their email and phone support when needed. I also love the aspect that our employees are able to take charge of their own information through the ESS, at the same time that when they come across an issue, we are able to assist them with ease.

Cons

The least of Paycom that I have challenges with is the company maintenance and where to find a feature I am unsure of due to not being a part of the set up with my company. However, the more I have used Paycom and my company's customization of it, the more and easier tasks have become.

I found that the phone support is the fastest and best in the industry. I belive that compared to the other services that I have used in the past, they are the best.

Pros

The value for the money and customer support is the best in the industry. I have worked as an HR Director for 20 years and have used their services and products in different industries. The customizations and options they offer are a plus.

Cons

The EDI support for the benefits can be challenging and could use more details and clarity in training especially in the topics of open enrollment during intial introductions.

### "You need paycom"

Pros

Paycom has amazing email and phone support. If I ever have an issue or question customer support is always there to be helpful! I think the program is very user friendly, and can be customized for my stores needs.

Cons

There really is not anything I don't enjoy about paycom. Any issues I have are always handled within the call, or day.
