Outstanding - implementation was thorough and supported. The training we received set us up for success. And the system is easy to use!

Pros

Ease of implementation and use! The reporting feature is robust, and the Personnel Action Forms make employee changes so easy!

Cons

The entire system works well for my needs. I haven't found a feature yet that I don't like. I haven't incorporated every Paycom feature yet, but everything is great so far.

Overall, we have been very pleased with the outcome of switching to Paycom and find that it has created an easier and more efficient workflow.

Pros

The Paycom Specialist assigned to our account is always accessible and quick to respond any time we have a question or concern. The ease of processing payroll sometimes feels almost too simple and having a one stop shop for everything from payroll to recruiting to onboarding, provides a more seamless process in HR. Our associates also love the ability to navigate the tool on their phones through the Employee Self Service portal.

Cons

Would love for more functionality in the accrual categories to define sub-categories of time within buckets like PTO to make tracking for reporting purposes based on state laws a bit easier to navigate.

Many troubles with benefits and arrears, making our team have to do the labor that we are paying for within our agreement

Pros

Cons

Too many updates that require you to sit in on webinars multiple times per day and week. No written communication about updates. Don't have time for these.

I was the lead for our implementation. It was alot of work, but new it would be great. It has been an amazing experience and would highly recommend to any employer to use. I love all the trainings offered and my rep is ALWAYS willing to make time for me.

Pros

It's easy to use and understand. The service is amazing and my rep always responds quickly and helps make sure I understand the full process behind what I am trying to accomplish.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. I promote Paycom every chance I get and have been very satisfied with the implementation and long-term care program. There is nothing I do not like about Paycom.

My experience has been good with Paycom. The staff at Paycom is very helpful and if they do not have the answer for you, they will find someone who does.

Pros

Something I really enjoy about Paycom is the training you get. If you sign up for one of the trainings and you miss it, you can still watch it later. The other kind of training besides the webinars is the step by step instructions how to process anything.

Cons

It is hard to find where some things are located on the site. You have to go here, then here, then here to find a lot of things.

We've been with Paycom for 3 months now and the ease of use and capabilities of the platform are top notch. Moving to Paycom has been smooth and saved me, an HR department of one, so much time and effort!

Pros

Everything is connected, no third party sites, just everything all in one. Truly this platform has all of the features, our implementation team was fantastic and responsive with every question we had. Having one profile for employees versus toggling between multiple has been so helpful for data management and employee tracking.

Cons

Scheduling needs a few tweaks - an easier way to delete a shift or mass remove a schedule would be helpful!

Overall my experience has been great. From what we were using previously to now, it has been a drastic change. We get much more interaction and support through Paycom.

Pros

I like that it has streamlined my HR items and eliminated my need for paper. The Paycom staff are always very helpful and willing to assist when needed. Overall it has made my day-to-day operations much more efficient.

Cons

The item that I like least about Paycom is scheduling. It does seem that the scheduling feature is more for a hospital setting or consistent schedules, which does not work for what we need.

My overall experience for the past 15 years has been excellent. Great customer service and now with AI, even better!

Pros

I like most everything about Paycom, including how it functions, the ESS, and all the government/compliance offerings, learning, background screenings, tax credits, the ease of payroll, benefits administration, expense management, E-Verify, COBRA, ACA, various reports, etc.

Cons

There is anything that I don't like in Paycom, as it works well with our company and we get everything we need in one place.

### "Paycom won me over"

Overall, it's a great system to use and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality HRM program and service. I exclusively work on Payroll, and payroll is very easy to use in Paycom. It's consistent and I can trust that the system will work accurately 100% of the time. Any time I have thought something was "wrong", it was me misunderstanding how something worked.

Pros

Paycom has been a very consistent product since I've started using it. Generally, elements of the website do not change often, and when they do it's easy to adjust and move on. There are no massive changes or adjustments made to the product, and it's easy to use day over day. We have a customer service agent assigned to our team, \[sensitive content hidden\], and he's been wonderful. Any time I have ever emailed him for support, he consistently answers all of my questions and concerns. He doesn't talk past me and will communicate something to me in the way that makes the most sense to me. Reporting is really dynamic and I appreciate how powerful the Advanced Report Writer can be.

Cons

The site can be overwhelming to start with. A lot of options don't feel like they're in places that make the most sense. I struggled to understand the basic report center initially, and the advanced report writer can be a LOT to try and understand. Some of the options in the advanced report writer don't make sense until you generate a report with those selections to see what it pulled in. We've gone through two other customer service agents previously. They did their job ultimately but definitely did not give us any kind of confidence in the product. I did not trust Paycom much until \[sensitive content hidden\] was assigned to our account. 401k matches are not adjustable while creating payroll checks. This is a MASSIVE pain. There was a single update that took place that allowed us to edit the matches on paychecks, and then it was reverted or removed. PLEASE give that back. It is insanely frustrating that I can't see a 401k match calculation until I go to the check register preview portion of payroll. I should be able to adjust the item or AT LEAST view it to see how much is calculating.

My overall experience with Paycom was very poor. Great promises, high hopes that things would be addressed, and never once was anything delivered on.

Pros

The sales people were great!.... The employee mobile application was also enjoyed by my staff and something they felt was easy to navigate.

Cons

Implementation and customer service were atrocious. I'm truly not sure I've ever had a worse experience with a vendor. They set things up improperly - we had spreadsheets sent to them with tax information that was never setup as it should have been - and we spent hours upon hours fixing things because of this. That's just one example of so many things that went wrong.

Easy to use and I've been pleased with it, as long as positive updates keep happening. Our specialist knows our company in and out and while it's best working with him to reduce explanation, the rest of the team steps in well.

Pros

It has a lot of on the go options that are helpful for managers out in the field. The customer service is always on point, we can resolve issues quickly.

Cons

Lots of bugs when new updates are rolled out. This often gets in the way of normal processing and can add a lot of time to the website refreshing. When in registers, the inability to look up your full population of people is frustrating.

### "Paycom; BETI makes Business Better"

I believe that my organization actually underutilizes everything that Paycom is capable of doing due to the complexity of the organization. I would recommend all companies at least talk to Paycom if they are thinking of using or changing a HRIS and Payroll systems.

Pros

Paycom's BETI has increase my workflow to the point that I am able to submit payroll a day earlier. We recently signed a 3-year commitment to them in order to receive the best pricing that we can get, and it is worth every penny. I find that the system is easy to use for day to day activities, and once you have been using it for 9 years as I have, you learn how to use the system to make it work for you and to be the hero to put out "fires" when they arise. For issues that I do not know how to do on my own, I know that my dedicated specialst or one of their team members will be able to either fix the issue or point me in the direction of how to solve it. In fact the support team and I have worked very closely over the years that they feel more like work friends. Paycom is an always evolving for the better both as an administrator and an employee. As I mentioned BETI has made my work life better because with the "Approve my Paycheck " feature, employees have been able to inform me of issues they see with their payroll before I start processing payroll rather than on Payday when reversing payments or additional physical checks would be needed to reconcile the situation.

Cons

My main issue is that Paycom does not work just by my thoughts alone, but nothing does. However if you have the settings for BETI set up correctly, it almost feels like that. Update days used to be a "hold your breath" day because the updates would improve one area, but then reset or cause issues with others. However, we were informed that Paycom is changing their update schedule from monthly to quarterly in order to give more time for testing.

Despite multiple conversations, UKG consistently failed to demonstrate urgency, communication, or reliable solutions, ultimately undermining our trust and forcing us to seek a more dependable provider.

I have worked with Paycom for a long time and done so on both ends of the spectrum with regards to employer size. Their tools are adaptable for any size or situation.

Pros

I like that Paycom's tools are flexible to the extent that they can provide core functionality for smaller companies and be scaled up at any time to an enterprise level.

Cons

We still see the odd tax issue here and there. Paycom's tax team should work on improving communication and transparency, especially when it comes to registering new accounts.

### "Not going anywhere, any time soon!"

We love Paycom. I get reach outs weekly from other providers that we never entertain. Most are trying to push us on price, as Paycom is known as the premium offering in the industry. However, the time and frustration we save and the ease of use to our employees makes any price differential worth it. It truly is very user friendly. We even have about 20% of our population who does not speak fluent english, and they figure it out. Our older (no-tech saavy) population have also adapted well. We still do a good bit of paper work arounds that we upload into the system. This is a must for us as we transition into the digital world but still require personal touches. I have been with outher systems that try and really force you to use their products digitally. Our reps from Paycom really listen and help us use the products to suit our employee's needs. We could not ask for a better partner for the HR side of our business.

Pros

I love the access our employees have to control all of their stuff. More than just see their paycheck, they can make changes in real time. The time to do payroll is so minimal, it has changed that world for us. I love their commitment to continuing education and that they listen when you have new improvement ideas. Those seem to come much faster than they have in the past.

Cons

Some of the products are still a bit clunky in my opinion. Mainly scheduling and performance. Scheduling is most likely to accommodate a more diverse schedule workforce or one where shifts can be picked up or traded. This function changes alot and one frustration we have is that when those updates happen and we make a change to an employee, something breaks and we have to dig in deep w/ our specialist to figure out how to fix it. Performance is just very broad. There have been quite a few updates in the last year that make this easier; however the build-out is still a different thought process than we normally would go through. For example, I would expect to open up a screen and build things out, section by section- like you would go through a document. Instead of this, you have to go to different screens and prebuild each section. Then start to build the review and pull those items in. It just leaves room for confusion in the building process. Once its built, it works great on the mgr and employee side- really just the initial setup that is a headache. The only other thing is there are still some special characters it doesnt like and when copying and pasting in certain screens, it takes a professional editor to figure out why you cant save.

Paycom is a highly user friendly tool that’s simple for managers to use and just as easy for our employees.

Cons

At times, Paycom can be slow to respond, which can make tasks more time-consuming. In addition, it can be challenging to pull reports because Paycom offers so many options.

Overall, I just love it! The system, the company and the support that me and my team gets is very valuable!

Pros

Most I like is my representative, \[sensitive content hidden\], who is always available, very knowledgeable, very patient and kind. This makes my work so easy when I have a support from person like him! Second, it's how it looks (bright and colorful) and the way everything is set up, that is usually very easy to use. I also like that PayCom is adaptive and always ready to listen to our feedback and make update/changes based on our needs.

Cons

Though I do really appreciate they Paycom constantly develops and improves everything in their system, I wish that new features were simply added to existing once versus very often the hole section can be changed so much that is hard to find something again especially if you do not use something very often by the time you need to use it again it can look completely different or in a very different spot and then you spend too much time trying to find something that could be done fast and easy.

Overall, the software is simple and intuitive. That's really the basic level I could ask for. My dislikes are really just small improvements, but it's good regardless. The AI tool, "IWant" was recently added, but I will probably never use it. It's so easy to use, the AI isn't necessary for me.

Pros

I really like how simple and easy Paycom is to use overall. The UI is appealing and easy to navigate. I don't remember experiencing any bugs or issues; it's quite reliable. I love that Paystubs are easy to find and access, and the Test Sample Paycheck feature is cool. The app is great, however, I prefer the web version for most tasks. I mainly use the app to clock on/off.

Cons

1\. When you have pending punch edits and PTO requests, I wish the Read-only Time Sheet would show your current total hours as well as your tentative total hours. 2. Emails for approved punch edits do not show the date. So, when I have multiple punch edit approvals in a week, I don't know the dates they pertain to. 3. I do not like the Read-only Time Sheet view on the mobile version. Not a fan of the layout.

I love our cust service rep and how ingenuative \[sensitive content hidden\] is in solving issues. He has a tracker with development requests and stays in tune with the things in the pipeline so we can be informed and also so we can get everytghing out of Paycom that we possible can

Cons

lack of playing well with others aka integrations. Also, it is expensive. It is hard to commit to great initiatives (like certifications) when we only need it for 25 percent of our population but have to pay for it per user. Some flexibility with pricing based on usage would be helpful.

My overall experience was good. It allowed me to learn more about how to electronically submit my work hours, requests for sick days and vacation time in a timely manner.

Pros

I liked that the website was organized, structured and less confusing than other pay roll websites. It was easy to navigate and did not have multiple tabs that can confuse users.

Cons

Least of all, I did not like that you could not add multiple hours for days worked all at once because sometimes people forget to put in their hours. It would help if user could edit and resubmit hours if they make mistakes.

It was great at the beginning and then I started having issues with getting responses back from Paycom. Once they restructured their departments and I got my current Paycom Specialist, I started to have a completely different experience and I wouldn't trade Paycom for any other payroll company.

Pros

How automated it has become. It will make the life of an HR professional easier. I have eliminated paper benefit enrollment. Automatic file feeds to vendors. The user interface is simple and extremely easy to use. An employee can easily change their language on their screens. My Paycom Specialist is top tier! He gets back to me right away or someone else from his team will answer my question.

Cons

I don't have anything that I particularly don't like about Paycom. At one time I would have said, customer service. That has changed in the last couple of years and I now have AMAZING customer support.

Overall, Paycom is great. There is so much you can do and it helps a tremendous amount in our operations.

Pros

I love the access to everything. I am able to navigate the dashboard very well and learn about things that I don't know how to do. The Paycom representatives help a tremendous amount.

Cons

The only thing I dislike sometimes is that things can get out of order sometimes when a small detail is incorrect. I know that is a lot on the user, but having to dig and find the small little error can be quite a task in the vast display of everything.
