Customer Service Consumer Electronics Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "I Love Ziprecruiter" October 3, 2018 5.0 Pros Let's start with the one-click apply which is just about the best function for when looking for a new job. No need to type everything out every time anymore with ZipRecruiter. As well, the site has plenty of features for filtering out what you do and do not want to view. They also constantly update you when an Employer has reviewed your application up the three times which not only is good for letting you know you are being viewed but also good to find out how you stand out among the rest of the people applying for jobs. ZipRecruiter also makes it very easy to create a job posting and get it into the appropriate channels. Cons I would suggest updating the app more as this is where I mostly use the app. ZipRecruiter does not have many issues. The biggest one is the amount of emails you receive from them but you can always limit what gets emailed to you. Review Source MB MAURICIO B. " July 26, 2018 3.0 Pros I like how easy it to use when apply for jobs. Candidates do not have to do much to apply, making it easy for them to browse through many jobs. As an employer, it is really easy to us to post jobs. It is nice to have the candidate's resumes come right to my email. This makes it super easy to review them and then contact them to discuss job opportunities. Cons It would be nice if our jobs posted in our ATS would scrape to this site without us having to pay for postings. As a candidate, the site does not seem to have as many jobs to apply for on it, since it is relatively new. ZipRecruiter has potential, but is not there yet. Review Source MS Madeleine S. Pros This was easy to use and sent me emails everyday. I could choose my location and choose relevant jobs. Cons Too many emails and had to filter through the nonsense. Ultimately ended up preferring Indeed and LinkedIn. All that changed when paying for the service. Pros Organizes applications and candidates, putting everything in one place. Makes each step of the hiring process so much easier and more organized. Cons Very pricey for how many good applications you get. I did a free trial and got tons of applications. All people called on showed up for the job. Tried the program two more times, but had to pay for it. Those times all the applications we got were duds. Called for interviews and no one showed up. Review Source RZ Romeo Z. Pros \-Dashboard is quite simple to navigate. Posting a job listing doesnt take more than a few minutes at most. -Posts on multiple job listing boards for you concurrently so you dont have to post it yourself one at a time. -A high volume of job candidates are sent to you that you can search and filter through for the right one. Cons \-Like the other reviews have stated, you do get back a large number of unqualified candidates if you are searching to fill a highly skilled or technical position. -Even after putting qualifications and experience requirements, I have gotten back a few "spam" candidates that I suspect are bots. September 24, 2019 1.0 I have tried to use it many times but in my honest opinion I would use Indeed or another search engine over this anyday! Does not do what I need it to do. Pros It's simple to use and to navigate but I feel there are more cons then pros with this app for me it just doesn't work, it might work for some people but just not my cup of tea. Cons There are to many ads on it, I have a hard time scrolling with out seeing some other site pop up, it doesn't search your key words it just does a over all random search and pulls up nothing I needed not my favorite. It breaks it down and will be specific in the job that i am looking for Cons Sometimes when you find a job that you want to apply for, when you select apply now, it will hesitate and when you get to the company website to apply, the job disappears and you have to search their site and it is frustrating. Cons When I used ZipRecruiter I would get the same candidates applying for every job multiple times. Another thing that I enjoyed a lot is the salary tap where anyone can learn and see the salary of jobs. Cons If anything, the least thing that I didn't like was not having enough jobs on the site. Pros It was easy to find candidates but you often find resumes and not sure if they are looking or even interested. We reached out to some resumes that were a fit. But we only had two interviews amongst many "qualified applicants." The cost seemed to outweigh the benefit and we discontinued use. Cons The cost. Other job search applications charge per interview scheduled instead of monthly. Pros LOvE the interface. Ease of use. It stores all the data (resume, cover letter, applicant info) It stores user data long after I’ve made a hiring. Ability to download all user data for in person interviews. Number of applicants in the Los Angeles market is always very strong and much better than Indeed.com or Monster.com Cons Forcing me into a paid monthly plan just to store my applicants is not fair. That’s about it! I’d like to have the ability to set an admin and create separate user accounts so my co-workers could have their own portal that my HR manager oversees. Cons I din't like that there weren't a ton of options for the specific job I was looking for. When you go on sites like Indeeded, Monster, etc, it give you what you are looking for, as well as related jobs that you may be interested in. ZipRecruiter is a lot more specific w/ searches.
