Pros It's ease of use and implementation as a CRM. It has very good use for automating customer relations messaging, keeps track of customer information well, and does great for multi-market companies. Cons Pulling reports can become an issue as there are sometimes issues with being able to put all information needed onto one report, such as pulling leads to sales. You have to pull one report at a time and can't pull all the information into one section sometimes. Pros Marketsharps cost is absolutely the most competitive for a CRM. If you are in home improvement and need a CRM cheap, this is the one. Cons Customization is the biggest downside. If you have custom fields you need to track for specific product types, you are very limited in what you can do. From the start, their sales team misrepresented the product, using high-pressure tactics and making false promises about the software’s capabilities. After signing, it became immediately clear that the software didn’t deliver on any of the essential features we were promised, especially the webhook functionality they touted as a core selling point. Within weeks—way before our first billable month—we canceled, realizing that this product simply didn’t work for us. Despite canceling and explaining the lack of functionality, MarketSharp is now attempting to collect fees, even threatening legal action for a product we didn’t even use for two full weeks! On top of that, our team invested substantial time and resources, totaling over $50,000, trying to make their flawed system work—time and money completely wasted due to their deceptive practices. It’s disheartening to see a company like MarketSharp prioritize short-term profits over customer satisfaction and honesty. No company should expect payment after failing to deliver on their promises and pressuring clients to sign up in the first place. Simplifying CRM use and being able to access customer history is invaluable to us. Pros User interface is clear and logical. Tabs, buttons and hot links are all very functional. Cons This is not an app. You will not benefit from it if you dont learn all the aspects of what it can do. We made the mistake of thinking we "knew it all" and have spent countless hours correcting our assumptions. The Marketsharp university is a comprehensive source for how to do it right. We also send out emails for long term follow-up after potential clients have not hired us for their project, to see if they may want to return to us for future projects. Pros MarketSharp is useful for keeping track of all the clients we encounter, and then being able to see what projects we have done with them in the past. It helps us know when clients contacted us, how they found us, and what was the result of the contact (phone calls, meetings, jobs, etc.) Cons The reporting! We find it difficult to get the information we need without going through trial and error many many times. We try this and then try that, and hope we get what we want. All the different options seem confusing to us, and not very straight forward. The reports use up so many pages and seem like they could be condensed on the page to not require so many sheets of paper.
