Director of Preconstruction Construction Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "PipelineSuite saves me hours of work every week and keeps all my bids and vendors in one place" July 1, 2021 5.0 I have managed my bids and my vendor lists manually using excel spreadsheets for almost 30 years. I was never able to find a system that could do what I wanted/needed it to do to replace my manual bid management and vendor list management processes until I started using PipelineSuite. Now I can't do without it. I recently started a new position with a new company and one of my first steps was to get PipelineSuite set up. Pros Switching over from my excel spreadsheets to PipelineSuite was quick and painless. Once I figured out I could do everything I wanted to do it was a simple choice to completely drop what I had been doing for years and use PipelineSuite. Cons Finding new subs for bidding new projects in markets beyond my local subs is not bad but not the best. If PipelineSuite had a more robust system of finding new subs for projects I am bidding out of town it would be completely perfect. Review Source JC Jason C. They have worked with us in the past adding new features as bid packages evolved. Pros I used Pipeline Suite at a previous company for 6 years. When I joined Leonard Contracting, they immediately signed up with the software after walking them through the key features. Pipeline saved Leonard Contracting 3 hours of work per bid invite. Cons I do not have anything negative to say about Pipeline. Countless times I'm reviewing coverages or needing to send out notices while out of the office. Pros PreconSuite is an excellent solution for serving as a single source of truth for bidder solicitation directories. Cons "Mass Assign" / "Mass Editing" could be more efficient. June 23, 2021 5.0 I have really enjoyed Pipeline for having the capabilities to look up and submit projects to subs with ease. Pros Having all your subs information online and with couple clicks they are invited to bid projects. Cons The software has some extra options that does not interest me at time. Alternatives considered [Microsoft Excel](https://www.capterra.com/p/176574/Excel/) Reason for choosing PreconSuite I would have to scroll thru Excel and look up subs and attach drawings and etc. for them to bid projects. Not only was it quick and easy, but it was super convenient. Pros What I liked the most about PreconSuite was that it was fast, easy, and most importantly convenient. The product is extremely valuable in saving time contacting vendors. The customer service is also excellent. Pros The software is an easy to use and cost effective way to solicit IFB and manage subcontractor/vendor bid lists. It is helpful that the subs/vendors do not have to create their own account. They can simply click on a link to review the project and upload their quotes. The software also does a good job of making sure emails are delivered and not sent to vendor's spam folders. Could then track who was looking at, who was bidding, send out added info. Worked really well. Pros Inexpensive and easy to use. Pipeline Suite met our needs and accomplished what we needed to solicit bids and track contacts. Cons Everything worked well for our needs, to not really anything I did not like about this software. I can not count the amount of times that we have needed to prove that the ITB was delivered and that it was opened. Armed with this information we are able to manage or vendors and suppliers. August 12, 2014 5.0 Pros Pipeline does just what we need and all their demo promised. We are able to prepare an ITB in minutes instead of hours. The learning curve was non-existent. We were able to load our vendor database and be up and running almost immediately. Our vendors tell us it is the best they see, and they see a lot of different invitations. Our logo is front and center and easy to recognize. We are in control of our database, and it is not shared with our competitors. Selecting vendors is quick and easy and can be duplicated for similar projects, which saves time and effort. We compared four software solutions and chose Pipeline. I'm glad we did. After much research, I found Pipeline Suite, did the FREE demo, and I'm sold! A few of the highlights are that we don't have duplicates anymore, the cost is much more effective, bidders have the ease of responding online as well as updating their information saving us a lot of time on the admin side of things. Our sales rep Rick has been amazing and is always just a quick email away if we have questions. He responds immediately and has always solved any problems we had. I highly recommend Pipeline Suite.
