Pros Its comprehensive set of features, high degree of customizability, and an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. Cons Dark mode would be a great addition to the platform. I'd also like to suggest an improvement to the candidate sharing feature; specifically, a permanent link that directs users to the candidate's profile within the context of a specific job, rather than the current expiring link. The email automations save a lot of time in the recruitment process, and the customer service team is genuinely responsive — they always come back quickly when we raise an issue or question. Cons There are a few limitations when it comes to customising workflows and permissions, and occasionally reporting can feel a bit rigid. The fact that it does not allow you to sync your calendar with the workable bank holidays is a problem. It only allows you to sync days that you asked as leave. Pros Recruitment module very well polished. Fast customer support. Cons The people administration module requires further development. Additionally, certain features should be included at the same pricing as other Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. It is unreasonable to incur additional costs for the performance module instance. When we used Sage this was already included in our pack and price fairly. Very easy to use and to roll out to a large team. There are lots of helpful video guides, and the navigation of the platform couldn't be easier. Most third party software providers are compatible with Workable via the API key, so you can join multiple processes in one. Pros Ease of use across the entire company. Great automation ability to make things faster! Managers find it easy to use, and it's a great way of staying up to date with recruitment activity. Cons It could be more colourful & allow more internal branding. Our entire company uses Workable for hiring, so it would be great to personalise profiles & allow people to adjust their details. Pros It's easy to use, has good features and our account manager is so helpful and friendly. I've done some workshops to better utilise the features and it's been great. The Slack notifications have been game-changing for our workflow, keeping everyone updated on application status and candidate progress without constant platform checking. The candidate pipeline management is smooth, it makes jotting down interview notes, advancing someone to the next stage, and sending automatic emails easy and straightforward. The automated interview scheduling feature alone has saved us hours each week by eliminating the typical email ping-pong of finding mutual availability. While the email templates are solid as-is, being able to customize them for specific roles or company voice is a nice touch. Cons The interface can be somewhat unintuitive with some hidden options and menus which you need to figure out. e.g. The scheduler is a great tool for providing calendar availability, but figuring out the interface took some learning. It is going to be required features for recruiting in coming days. Overall, it’s made our recruitment process more efficient and less stressful. Highly recommend. Pros It's value for money. Very user friendly and the support team is very responsive if you have any questions. Cons None really, most of ATS has similar function, but workable really stand out. There’s not much to dislike, but if I had to choose one thing, it would be that the customization options for some reports could be more flexible. It is not bad, and I need to spend more time learning it, but it is not the easiest to use. Even as we've modified our applicant intake and hiring processes, the configuration and workflows have been easy to update. The Workable team provides excellent service and communicates effectively, so we have confidence that any issues (which are few) will be quickly addressed. The training tools cover a wide range of topics, providing a great benefit to our team and offering helpful resources to managers with limited or no experience in hiring. Pros We use Workable exclusively for TA/applicant tracking activities, and appreciate the ease of creating job postings, the workflow setup, and the AI insights that help accelerate the candidate vetting process. Cons The backend can be a little clunky to navigate. Tools like user permissions or candidate-specific information aren't evident from the landing page, and, for an admin who only uses the system occasionally, finding them always requires a time-consuming refresher. July 31, 2025 5.0 My team and I have been using Workable since May and there hasn't been any complaints. It's made hiring way easier and less of a headache! Pros Super easy to use. We got job posts up fast, managed candidates with zero confusion and the whole team stayed in sync. The LinkedIn Recruiter integration is a game-changer and the mobile app makes things easy to keep things moving on the go. AI matching is surprisingly good and hiring internationally has been smooth thanks to the global support. Cons Reporting feature could be better and more insights would be nice.
