Our team just renewed it for another year. Pros The ease of use of all team members. We have first-time hiring managers using Workable with little to no questions! It is very nicely set up and simple to navigate. Cons The sourcing option: candidates typically don't have updated or personal contact info. Support is GREAT and very knowledgeable. It took a completely disjointed internal process and utterly streamlined it. Pros Being able to manage multi-site, multi-department recruitment on one site. Additionally, user permissions and management make it easy to collaborate. Cons Nothing at this time. The customizable workflows and rejection reasons were the only things prior that I would have improved. Pros I like that Workable is easy to use, with a clean user interface that allows for team collaboration even for users who are not tech-savvy. It makes it easy for everyone to understand the process of tracking applicants. Cons The platform is not flexible when it comes to adding new features, and the customer support has not been helpful to that end either. August 7, 2025 5.0 Pros I love how I can organize and automate all hiring and interview steps in one platform, from job posts to interview scorecards to simply staying organized, and even onboarding. Talk about a game-changer! And yes, it was easy to implement as we didn't need to change our process; we just needed a tool to make it easier. :) Cons I do not like that you can't customize your page within Workable. Yes, it does have some customization capabilities, but it does come with roadblocks. Luckily, I was able to get my internal team to help create a careers page and embed the Workable job posts. However, this is a challenge for those who don't have the capacity or knowledge to do it. Yes, Workable offers a team to help, but that is at an extra charge. I would recommend Workable for anyone who is struggling with their current ATS. It is by far the most consistent, user-friendly system I've used to date. Pros Workable is very user-friendly and offers a one-stop shop solution. It was easy to integrate job boards as well. Cons There isn't much criticism that I have for Workable. Just a bit more flexibility in the candidate search filters would make it even better. Pros Workable is incredibly easy to use and has made our recruitment process much more efficient. The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes team collaboration seamless. Features like job posting, pipeline tracking, and self-scheduled interviews are really helpful. Their customer support is also excellent — quick to respond and always helpful. Cons Not being able to edit workflows after jobs have been published which can be difficult when the hiring process may change as a role is ongoing. Also one good thing is it solves my complexities I can see the applicants in various tabs which is easy to identify Cons The only problem i faced is that I am unable to upload bulk sheets or add bulk comments. I would highly recommend it. Pros Workable is a great ATS system, it allows you to personalise processes as needed and keeps all data efficiently in one place. Cons Overall, Workable is a great system, I think one area for improvement would be related to reporting and creating more personalised reports or being able to combine different report functions in one place. I also appreciated how it saved time with helpful automation and smart suggestions, without losing the personal touch that’s so important in recruiting. Everything was in one place, and it just worked smoothly. It felt like a tool built with real recruiters in mind, not just another piece of software. Cons Mainly response times and performance can be an issue from time to time. But Customer Support is always there to help so its not that big of an issue. But as I mentioned above, some of the features could use improvement, or at the very least be more adequately warned about. Pros It's super helpful for streamlining recruitment workflows. It allowed me to have all candidates in one place, quickly review their CVs and applications, write an evaluation that's accessible to my team in real time, just super useful. Cons It has some default settings that it doesn't warn you about. For example, if you write up a long application process including yes or no questions to filter out candidates, as well as text-based questions, etc. and then select the option post the job to job boards, Workable auto-deletes the questions you've spent so much time writing. Publishes them nowhere, saves them nowhere and doesn't warn you about it. It led to some pretty awkward conversations until we figured out why and how this was happening. Pros We really think Workable is great. It helps us create meaningful vacancies, and due to a really large number of applications we use the AI function to summarise the key qualities we're looking for in a candidate. We're able to be really personable with the customisable features and we really value the support and training from our account manager - which helps us get the most out of the product. Cons Sometimes some of the excellent features are hard to find due to the labelling of the menus - I personally don't always find these the most intuitive - however this is a very small issue! Also, we can easily tailor which staff at our organization can see and evaluate candidates. Pros Workable makes it so much easier that it was previously to advertise for, interact with, and hire new employees. It also is really good for tracking the stats we need about applicants, and allows us to have consistent systems to review and evaluation candidates. Cons Unfortunately, in spite of us having used Workable for over 10 years, and only hiring 2 or 3 positions a year, this year, Workable removed our "legacy" option which increased our costs for the product about 4-fold.
