Pros

I like the bar on the top of the screen. It’s helpful to be able to quickly switch from screen to screen. However, I wish that it was the same for all screens. Specifically, I wish that I could switch back and forth from inventory to whiteboard. Instead of going to the home screen first.

Cons

I wish that when changes are made that they are actually useful. Moving a bar to the other side of the screen or changing colors is not worth the havoc and slowing down of the system that it causes.

OnceI was out of the initial purchase and training period everything went downhill quickly. From the first payment I had an issue with using my rewards credit card; specifically an error message that information was missing and transaction had to be reentered. When I called eVetPractice they stated that it was an issue with Intuit, and they could not help me. I chose to do business with eVetPractice, not Intuit; eVetPractice chose to use Intuit for their payment system and should be doing the legwork. We practitioners are busy, our time is valuable, and I was paying them for their service. These are the truly frustrating issues of practice ownership. In the end it was a lot of hassle for what turned out to be a glorified vaccination reminder program for my practice. To summarize my issues: 1) The system is cloud based, yet not apparently functional for all browsers. Frustrations were akin to Zoetis' website/dashboard. 2) Solicitation. I received several calls and from their partners wanting me to use their payment systems, or buy their product. I am still getting these emails and calls months after discontinuing eVetPractice. This is frustrating especially after the experience with Intuit. 3) Not user friendly for other members of my staff, they became frustrated quickly, even though one had sat in on the training with me. No one besides myself even attempted to use it. 4)At startup I had asked about what would happen to my client records if I chose to no longer use the program. I was told that I would have access to the records, just not be able to use the program or change anything, for a few months afterward. This was not the case, I was locked out as soon as my subscription was over. Even as I was writing this I received a call from Bluefin, asking specifically to speak to me (not my manager, who is capable) during office hours. The representative stated that eVetPractice had asked them to reach out to me and that he knew he was catching me at a bad time.

We regret that you did not enjoy the software. The payment situation with Intuit was frustrating. We contacted Intuit¿s IT as we do not have access to their system. We did follow up, but you ended our service shortly after. The system will run on browsers including: IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Recent versions of these browsers should have no problem, but outdated may. Bluefin does reach out to clients to explain benefits of an integrated payment solution. You were our contact, they would have asked for you. We don¿t have any other partners that should have contacted you. The system is designed to be intuitive, but we encourage all staff be trained during the setup, and we check in regularly. It is not possible for us to tell who is comfortable with the system unless it¿s communicated. It is not standard to store data after ending service. We can provide that for a reduced cost, upon request. You asked that we end your service and said there was nothing else needed.

### "Lots of clicking but easy"

Overall we have been happy. It’s a way for us to go about 75 percent paperless. We like the system and how the company values the users input to make changes and upgrades.

Pros

This software has been used at our practice for two years. It’s a huge upgrade from our previous system. It keeps your schedule nice and organized and can be customized. Information is detailed on a pet and subgroups things ie tests, appointments, medications etc.

Cons

Sometimes it’s very slow. Other users complain of the same thing. Also you have to do a lot of mouse clicking to get to different screens. Somethings are not easy (boarding animals can be a pain)

In general technical support has been good and very responsive. The setup when I initially went to even brutal. It took many hours on my part getting things set up. I am not sure I would have gone through with Evet had I known that.

Pros

Integration with many other apps, lab equipment.

Cons

Very inefficient. It takes a million clicks to get anything done. Also, the inventory section is awful. It should alert at low inventory and not allow a charge to be put through on a zero inventory item. Improvements seem to come slowly. Recently there have been aesthetic changes but not much that truly improves the functionality of the software.

Overall it is good, but the features for day to day use are lacking. Pulse also does not play nice with others and the lack of integration options is difficult.

Pros

Easy to use and train new staff. Helpful customer service. Inexpensive software.

Cons

\-Not being able to print labels directly to a printer-Inventory management-Not being able to invoice while in an exam note-Just a lack of features that similar competitors offer-Not being able to integrate with Vetsource-Not being able to integrate with other payment processing providers

### "Good value for smaller practices"

This is a good product for the money for a smaller practice. We have outgrown it considerably (do not have days in end to work through data spreadsheets). We are currently looking to switch to A more robust system.

Pros

On the user side this system is pretty easy to use and relatively inexpensive.

Cons

Reporting functionality is terrible. Several of their reports simply don’t work (and they acknowledge this but still have them as an option to select. Once you find the reports that do work, you have to export to multiple excel spreadsheets then use your sort and search functionality to get any usable information. You must be very proficient with Excel to get any good data from this system.

### "Solid Software"

Its easy to go eco friendly and streamlines communication with Clients. Takes a lot of programs and brings them all together

Pros

Transitioning to Evet software was relatively easy! Our team was able to easily and quickly catch on to how it works and the intricacies. Love the ability to add or subtract (activate and deactivate) settings and reports, it is very easy. Our technicians love the online anesthetic monitoring form. Finally all of us love that this system is accessible from anywhere. If our internet goes out, we love having the ability to remotely access the software.

Cons

Integration was not difficult, it was actually the opposite. What is difficult however, is how evet shuts down (slows down to the point of not functioning) during our office hours. When Evet does maintenance we are still open and cannot get our tasks done that need to be. Every Wednesday of every week there is some type of slowing down that happens with Evet. We are open till 8-9pm on Wednesdays and when it get closer to the end of our evening, evet slows to the point of not working anymore. The other con would be the inability to store Clients Credit Card numbers, it is high in demand. Printers and label makers are incompatible with Google Chrome - so we often have troubles.

Cons

In our case we have a second practice that mainly does grooming so the medical settings don't really apply to that practice. Maybe add some grooming settings like grooming notes, regular notes get mixed with medical notes. There's also lots of clicking for certain things, when one click could be enough. I also have to be in control of multiple things because I am unable to give the gear icon access to certain employees unless I set them up as business owner or administrators. There should be a level system for employees or the option to select which options from the gear icon they can access. Also we would like to have declined items show up on invoices. Also it would be better to have a Who Got option (who received which medication or service) instead of running a report. Support sometimes doesn't know how to fix things. I talked to 5 different people once to fix a very simple issue. Which was to activate the quick invoicing option.

Fairly easy to get a birds eye view of Patient medical history, current medications, vaccine/test/annual exam reminders.

Pros

Much more intuitive/user friendly than previous product. Of all CRMs I've used in my professional life, this one definitely ranks as one of the easiest to use.

Cons

There are a few features that I've requested specifically around emailing clients , scheduling and app integration (e.g. Outlook for emails and Vitus Vet for chats - currently these are saved in a very odd spot). As far as emails with clients - still a lot to be desired here. Salesforce has great email integration - it would be nice if this were the case with eVet practice.

Wonderful. Have worked for years with two other big name PMS and this one tops them all.

Pros

I love that it is cloud based - so you can hop on anywhere if needed.

Cons

The set up was easy but tedious - but necessary and once done - it is so easy to go back and make changes.

i like that it is in the cloud based. overall, i was debating between ezyvet and evet. im not sure i made the right decision. i am hoping with all the uodates that it will improve

customer service is great! always there to answer my questions and very patient and friendly

Cons

i have a hard time telling if the client transaction isnt cut and dry. if they left a deposit or if they have a balance on the account it is difficult to tell the formatting kn the document template is frustrating. it doesnt work like microsoft word. the tabs and bullet points dont format correctly we had issues with it running slow and our entire schedule disappearing

EvetPractice has eased my anxiety around daily backups, redundancy and hardware failures. Their update management has never left us without functional software. I have recommended and assisted 3 other hospitals transition to EvetPractice and will continue to do so.

Pros

EvetPractice allowed us to move to a paperless process. Integrations with 3rd party products have eased tasks like reminders and lab result management. Pricing is very straight forward - per doctor fee rather than per user or per client. High uptime availability, monthly updates, great tech support available via the app to all users.

Cons

reporting is only somewhat customizable. Many canned reports are provided, but new reports cannot be created by user

EvetPractice was designed by a veterinarian and worked well with our existing process. EvetPactice offered best pricing model.

It has been a good experience. We want to create efficiencies for our staff and our clients. Because some staff turns over, such as reception, it has to be easy to learn.

Pros

It is very intuitive. Relatively easy to enter client and patient information. I like the customization of colors on the calendar. I like the recent changes to the top menu so it looks less cluttered. It is easy to find client or patient information from a management perspective. What I like most about the software is the availability and helpfulness of the customer support team

Cons

Reporting is really lacking. I should be able to run a custom report pulling whatever fields I want. It is cumbersome to remove client and patient alerts...sometimes have to clear the field multiple times. It is not intuitive to create new templates/documents

Pros

I'm a small animal House Call practice, but we also set up Express Wellness Clinics in the Birmingham, AL area doing low-cost vaccine clinics. In July of 2016, when I started to do my county wide Express Wellness Clinics, I was looking for a good, affordable, reliable, and cloud based software system. All achieved. I had used eVetPractice working with a local shelter the year before. For a single doctor mobile practice, cost per month is so perfect for me. This software is very comprehensive ( the good thing), so be aware that it will take a while to learn all the ins-and-outs, but don't be discouraged, once you use this cloud based software, it's a win-win for you and your clients. Great support to get started (Webinars), and follow-up support is exceptional. I have had fewer calls for vaccine records, etc. because clients can access their own records from eVetPractice. I can access from any computer connected to the internet. I have personally integrated with HomeAgain and recently VetsFirstChoice. Wow, how nice to have client/patient information sent directly with no other effort. Lastly, the support from eVetPractice is so reliable. If you do have a question, the "Help" tab at the bottom of the screen will usually solve most of my issues, but the Live Chat is so perfect for me as I have never waited more than a minute to get help. I can only speak as a small animal mobile practice owner, the value is worth more than the cost!

Overall, I have been very happy with the functions and features of eVet, as well as with the ease of use! It is definitely worth the price!

Pros

As a web/cloud based program, eVet makes client communications so much easier with the quick link options visible right from a patient’s record. I also love the interface and how clean and simple it is.

Cons

Some integrations do not work well with eVet, primarily when eVet does software updates.

Pros

I like the fact that Covetrus is so tech-forward. I can move around my clinic, use different devices, and still be up to date with my patients' most recent information.

Cons

This software has improved greatly over the time that i have been using it. I think improving the integration with the prescription software, so that it flows more smoothly, would be very helpful, but that's the only improvement that I can think of!

Pros

Ease of navigation. It's easy to find the same information in several different ways.

Cons

It would be helpful to have Wellness Plan in the pop-up window that comes up when we are scheduling a client that shows all of the reminders for the patient.

So happy to have joined the eVet Users team, we're discovering new things everyday to make us more efficient and to provide the best patient care.

Pros

The customization of eVet is what drove me to the product, the price tag sealed the deal. Being able to access the software, anywhere, instead of being chained to our antiquated server is glorious and the support team has been nothing short of gracious and helpful.

Cons

No hot keys or text expander....we miss those things the most. Reporting is cumbersome and awkward.

Initially it was good but now I detest having to use it.

Pros

Initially the program was useable but now, with each "upgrade" it has become progressively worse ..... doubling time for many actions.

Cons

Almost unusable in a mobile, driving down the road, setting and certainly no features designed to make mobile practice easier.

### "Great for mobile vets!"

Overall Evet is a good product with excellent customer service. Updates can be slow to come but that is understandable at this price point.

Pros

Evet is super easy to use on a daily basis. My favorite thing as a mobile vet is the easy access to google maps for my client's address. I love being able to access medical records on the go, and all my employees have easy access to their work schedules right there on the calender. Its very easy to check people out, change prices, etc. I've used Avimark and Cornerstone, and evet is by far the better product. The help chat feature always has all the answers to our questions in just a few minutes. Really good customer service!!

Cons

Setup took some time. It was also my first time setting up practice software, so I give it the benefit of the doubt on that one. I don't like the constant updates and changing location of buttons for no reason. Don't like the menu list in the gear icon, poor functionality for going deeply into the options.

I do like how functional it is compared to some of the other programs I have used, user friendly once you learn the program and has great customer service if you ever need help.

Cons

Charting is not the easiest along with drug logging and the lack of other important features it could have. Set up on my end was a nightmare.

The overall experience has been great. I believe that EVET is off to a great start but needs some much needed improvements to help make it better.

Pros

Customizability and ease of use. Appointment scheduler is amazing, Packages are nice and easy to set up and being able to give doctors their production percentage on what they actually do has made the packages a great thing. Inventory in the system is amazing!!!!! Reports are good but would like to see them more customizable.

Cons

Takes longer to do medical records because invoicing and medical records are separate. Patients can only be on one wellness plan at a time so for hospitals that use short term medical packages (laser treatments as example), we cannot use the package on most clients and had to find a work around to this which is less than ideal.
