### "Renewed Appreciation!"

Since July 2015, I've found a vast improvement of product and customer service in Reservation Nexus. The GDS connection contract via Innlink was extremely frustrating for me when an issue needed to be resolved quickly and accurately in the past. Now, I'm no longer on the GDS system, rather I have direct connections with the OTA's through MyAllocator which Reservation Nexus contracted with to over come this frustrating issue. Though this is not a perfect system as nothing is, it's far improved and the savings are huge which I sincerely appreciate! I must give accolades to Reservation Nexus for these improvements. I sincerely appreciate Reservation Nexus' commitment and desire to work with me a small 19 room b&b as well as listen to my needs. I've found service much improved after my change from GDS to MyAllocator and the ResNexus' staff makes a point in making sure I'm getting the help I need if I need it. re solved quickly. and when I need it most- they've made a renewed believe in me!

Pros

Report creation and capabilities. Ease of updating rates/inventory. Upload ease of photos, text, etc.

It is a great tool for marketing and for reports. I can see exactly where we are on occupancy and revenu on a daily basis.

Pros

We have been using Resnexus for our reservation bookings for several years. I find it easy to use and if I have a challenge, there is always someone to help me through it. I made the decision to upgrade our website to a Resnexus site and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was wonderful in setting it up and walking me through it. I am very happy with the new site and excited to be able to make changes on my own.

Cons

In regards to the reservation system, it is a bit annoying that when I mark a checked-out, it does not take me back to the grid.

Pros

We love ResNexus Reservation Management Software for our small business in Asheville NC. The initial training period is well supported by their team which enabled us to become proficient very quickly. On-going ease of use and technical support is the best recommendation for a new user as well. We have found that the response from our Red Carpet Rep is fantastic....and no question is too small. We also love the regular updates which are always determined by listening to their customers. The initiation of their Guest "Feature Request" was inspired :))

Cons

Only real issue from time to time is "unhooking" the guest money if we are creating a special circumstance etc....understanding that the procedural policies of ResNexus are designed to protect us as well as our guests.

Great, they work hard at keeping up to date and making the platform easy to use and are very helpful when needed.

Pros

It is cloud based and very easy to use, it has a retail portion so it really is a 2 for 1.

Cons

Some features are hard to find, just takes a little time if you don't use them everyday.

Payments always say "cash," which isn't a huge deal unless our software gets audited.

Overall, it has been a great experience, easy to use and train on the software and decent value. I will recommend this software to friends and business owners.

Pros

We just launched the website with ResNexus web team. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was great to work with. Extremely customer focused and responsive to my suggestions and requests. We worked as a team bouncing ideas off of one another to get to the final design and function of the site.

Cons

We are experiencing slow downs with the reservation side of the software in the Reservation Grid. When testing on multiple sites and locations, it reacts the same, so I've ruled out the internet speed and computer. The Reservation team has been slow to respond. Wish they were as responsive as the website team.

I love everything about it, so easy even for me just learning how to use a computer at 35. Resnexus made learning the computer and my new front desk job a snap. Now I own a Property management company, and still using 7 years later. Thank you Resnexus!

Pros

Easy to find what I am looking for, although the recent layout through me off first day. The reports that are provided in the top package are perfect for checking performance, and any data needed.

Cons

The new lay out is difficult after using the old layout for 7 years. There had been some changes, but none so drastic.

You are correct, ResNexus follows the federal and providers communications requirements of allowing guests to opt out of text messaging with a "stop" notice. ResNexus does not make the regulation, but we do follow it which protects your business from privacy violations. When that regulation changes we will make that change.

Rep is my Red Carpet Professional. There hasn't been an issue that I've had yet that she hasn't handled swiftly and professionally. It is a please to work with their team.

Pros

The ease of use, their support team was the best getting you started with the system, transferring your bookings over to their system, training and most of all support. Any questions, a quick phone call and it is handled with ease. They are constantly improving their own system making your work ever easier and adding new features that we are looking for to improve our business. One of the best parts of the system if you use OTA's, NO MORE DOUBLE BOOKINGS.... What a relief. And the new web site they just designed for the Seven South Street Inn is just beautiful. Already increased my occupancy 10% over August 2017.

Cons

I find the process of trying to process credits convoluted.

From our first presentation, we were wow-ed with the functionality of the system. There really is so much that it can do and you can start small and continue to grow. The initial set up was painless and learning how to add and make changes has been extremely user friendly and easy to learn. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been a great trainer and point person for our many questions.

Pros

What stands out the most about ResNexus in the first months of set up has been how much we will be able to customize and build on the basics in order to help sell and deliver a higher quality product. Starting with the basics, you can use so many of the tools to make a dramatic impact on your offerings. The customer service team, in particular \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], has been top notch. I've never felt like I have been a bother (and trust me, there have been loads of questions) and all of our set up and fixes have been completed in a timely manner.

Cons

At this time we haven't found a con worth noting. We are looking forward to the app and learning more about the capabilities of the software we have not touched yet.

Multi-Day over the phone tutorials, guided lessons, friendly and understanding staff, custom solutions to needs, etc... ResNexus really has it all, and will do everything they can to add what is not on offer. They will train You, and any new employees, they will help any step of the way; and that is if You even need it. So simple, user friendly, and rich in tools / features... Its a simple decision. Do You want the best for Your business? Go with ResNexus.

Pros

It is the most user friendly experience I have ever had with reservation software, or software in general. It takes no time to master its features, and become far more efficient than with other options.

Cons

Some (rarely any) features weren't tailored to our exact resort type, but we knew this going in and many work arounds, and feature changes have been made. This is not much of a dislike, just the only potential downside I could think of.

You can click the "help me use this page" blue button as well. Hopefully these tools and section can also provide an additional resource for you. Of the software companies that I talked to, I was the most confident that ResNexus was there for me, to help me use the features that were best for me and my company. The customer service has been above and beyond! They have been great to understand my needs and able to implement things to make it easier to keep track of the things I need to keep track of for my type of Hospitality business!

Cons

I would like to see some improvements on keeping track of all guests in a cabin.

### "Glad we switched"

When I first signed on with them there were a few personnel changes that were worrisome but turned out to be no big deal. They call back when you leave them a message and seem to genuinely want to fix or change problems that I have brought up.

Pros

This software captures all the information we need for our small motel and it is very easy to use. We opted to have them build and host our website and it is so easy to make changes.

Cons

There are a few things that could use tweaking but for the most part everything works smoothly. Some of the reports could be simpler actually.

Switched from

[Quickbase](https://www.capterra.com/p/157262/QuickBase/)

Whenever there were issues with Base7 there was a long lag time because they are based in Europe and are not 24/7 responsive. Their system caused constant overbooking which was very frustrating. We even paid more for a different channel manager than the one they provide and it didn't help. They also only offered one credit card processor (the most expensive). I could go on.

With ResNexus not taking the CVV security code, I have to contact every person for multiple properties to get it when they book online. This takes hours out of my schedule. Many other companies are lower in price and also have myallocator or a different channel manager built into their fees, with ResNexus it is additional. We have had more over the phone reservations this year because people can't differentiate which property is available or if it is booked. It would be nice for our potential guests to have the grid, because that is very easy to understand. Overall I have been happy but now that credit card processing companies are requiring the security codes, and ResNexus prices have gotten higher, I am switching companies.

Pros

I love the grid. The software is pretty easy to learn and navigate through. ResNexus has great customer service.

Cons

Customers don't understand the reservation calendar. ResNexus doesn't take the CVV codes. Expensive!

Coaching from the support team has been excellent. The assessment I received on how well I am using the functionality of the software has been excellent.

Pros

This software has every thing you need and then some to run a B&B/hotel.

Cons

There is so much functionality, far beyond what I need for my three room inn. I am a sole proprietor and have not been able to become well versed in all the details of the software. I do think it is a bit pricey compared to other options for a very small business such as mine.

I tried 3 other PM software companies and had certain issues with them all. I came across Resnexus while I was looking for website support actually, read about what they offer and eneded up switching over. Im saving money from paying these other high market companies, I have everything I need including and amazing website.

Pros

From the beginning the staff is very helpful, and I've always had immediate response which is nice. The price for everything they offer is half of what I was paying some of these other PM software companies. The website they build for you is awesome. Everything is great im so glad I made the switch.

Cons

The only thing I would critique is being able to change the rate. Of course there is a way to change rates for the entire year/month and make special rates for certain dates. It would be nice if you could click on any day, or multiple days from the calendar and instantly change rates.

### "ResNex Is My Indispensable "Partner""

I resisted using a reservation software for much too long because I feared losing control and contact with potential guests. Finally, good innkeeper friends insisted I give Reservation Nexus a try and it was one of the smartest, most beneficial business decisions I have made for my two properties. There are so many possibilities with the software and so much innovation with the company. Finally, I cannot say enough positive things about ResNex customer service.

Pros

Its flexibility and the outstanding design that blends perfectly and seamlessly with my website design.

Cons

I do nothing with Birthday/Anniversary information and I don't like being "forced" to have it on my listing. I think it creates an expectation of my guests that I don't fulfill and don't wish to fulfill. This kind of information is rather dated and should be optional to the innkeeper.

I think their excellent level support is the most important thing. They knock that out of the park. They are also always working on upgrading and improving the software.

Pros

The company support both in the deployment process and ongoing - day to day - is exceptional.

Cons

The ongoing fees for some of the optional add on features such as door codes and texting seem a little overpriced to me.

Pros

They are working on improving the email marketing products they offer to make them easier to use!

Pros

They were quick and detailed in moving our files and keeping us up and open for business! They have been very responsive to our service requests.

Cons

Having limited customer/tech support on weekends is a concern, however so far they have taken care of everything on a timely basis.

We have had excellent customer service throughout our time with resnexus. From the beginning stage of set up to any issue that may arise while using the program, we have had excellent response and service from their team.

Pros

The ease of use, the customer service to switch us from our old PMS was great, the daily use of is very easy and the continuing updating and listening to hoteliers of what we need is top notch.

Cons

There isn't anything about this PMS that we don't like.
