I also love the GIFs that are offered to spruce up the posts! Cons Theres really nothing that is bad or that I like least. Pros I mean its alright - it does allow you to write a recognition Cons 1\. you cant boost recognitions in any increment you want (if you have 1500 points available you cannot boost because it requires 2500 points ONLY) 2. you dont get any notification on catalogue items that go on sale, so if you want to buy a gift card on sale, you must look all the time. 3. you cant tell who else a recognition has been shared with, I receive a recognition, was it shared with my manager, should i share it with my manager, could it become a duplicate share, I dont know. I like the simplicity and ease/user-friendly site navigation. Cons What I don't like is that you have the option to "follow" others, but choosing to follow doesn't seem to make a difference with anything. I thought that following someone would at least send me the birthday/anniversary reminders in my email for them. Nope. Also, the profile aspect is very lacking. I have never needed to ask how to use it, that just means it's effective for what I need and very self explanatory. I love getting the feedback, giving the feedback and have not not used all my points for a single month for over a year. Got to give them out and it drives me to ensure I recognise people which is important in this day and age. Pros With the fast paced world of operations, the ability to leave instant praise for someone is amazing. It's easy to use, very straight forward but what matters most it recognises my team (and my extended team). I also apprecate the monthly reports that I get as a manager that tells me if my team are utilisig the platform. This means I can encourage them to utilise it, it makes someone's day to hear that they are recognised and this allows you to do that. From Birthday shout outs, to praising an excellent job done, it often puts a smile on someone's face. I also really enjoy the GIFs! Cons I never know what to do with my points, whether it's better to get vouchers or get the product. I also think it would be good to have something to recognise those people who use their points month on month - maybe bonus points available if you use all your points over a six month period - rewarding those users. Finally, don't think it's an Achievers issue - but paying tax on rewards is a real pain.. that could be a local law thing rather than an issue with Achievers though. Also the feeds can be a little clunky, sometimes I see just mine, sometimes I see my org, sometimes I see my team. Wish there was clearer tabs to select which feed I would see. Finally sometimes I want to recognise loads of people with points, but can't split my points into less than 250 pockets. The platform is easy to use and the feed is like a social media feed that you scroll through to see the recognition. 10 out of 10! It enriches my experience as an employee! Pros I love seeing the shout outs from fellow employees from all over our entire company like a social media platform. You can scroll through tons of them and see the positivity and team work. It makes you feel proud of the company you work for! I think more companies should use Achievers and see how it really brings a global company together! Love the notifications for birthdays and anniversaries. If they found a way to make this easier to do for workers on the floor without impacting their workflow this would be way better. Pros The ability to recognize fellow employees with something more than just a thank you and being able to use points to get something more than just a thank you. Cons Works more in an office setting not so much with warehouse workers who never touch a computer. Being able to reward in 250 point increments at the least lessens the amount of recognitions that really have any value, as well as the amount of recognitions I want to give. The system does seem kind of sluggish when using the search function. Pros The ease of use of the system. Its nice that you can incorporate GIFs into your recognitions making them more personal. Cons People search function does work well. You have to type in an entire name to get the right person. Also having pictures mandatory would make it easier to identify the person you're recognizing. I have no complaints with the system, and it is significantly better than the previous paper system I had been using for giving an receiving recognition prior to transitioning to Achievers. Pros My company uses Achievers as a form of giving and receiving recognition. Additionally, there are rewards that recognition points that can be redeemed for numerous prizes. There is an massive prize catalog that includes rewards such as home goods, gift cards, and more. Cons For me personally, it is quite hard to put a finger on anything I don't care for on Achievers. As I had previously mentioned in my initial review, there is a limited GIF selection for use in commenting on recognitions.
