### "Ótimo para organização de quadros e ideias"

February 21, 2022

5.0

### "Essential for my work"

August 2, 2021

5.0

Pros

I really love the board, the fact that you can do almost everything. There is a lot of elements that you can use, which is very cool. And I specially like that you can work together with others and follow their screen.

Cons

I don't like the visualization of files so much (as I said before). Some times I forget to unclick the select icon, and I move some object when I'm trying to just move my screen, but I don't know whats the solution. I tried to use the mouse wheel click to move, but then I ended copying something :D

### "The best whiteboard"

August 6, 2021

The Miro is the best virtual whiteboard. Fantastic tool for any type of work. For example to quickly design a software architecture and share it with everyone at a meet.

Pros

The power and ease of sharing ideas to an agile squad.

Cons

Have more models of visual objects and variations of objects.

### "An intuitive tool for collaboration and canvassing"

May 4, 2022

5.0

Overall, we are keen advocates of Miro. It has helped us to run more effective workshops without relying on endless physical post-it notes, and to collaborate effectively despite having a distributed workforce and client base.

Pros

Miro empowers us to run more effective client and internal workshops, whether wholly in-person, virtually or hybrid. Miro’s broad range of templates and canvassing tools allows us to focus on delivering client value.

Cons

Though recent product updates have included the introduction of a voting function, a broader range of interactive features would help us to better engage audiences and provide more impressive workshop experiences.

### "An enhanced digital whiteboard with the freedom of a whiteboard allowing you to do so much more."

April 22, 2021

5.0

Planning and organizing, decision making, collaboration, brainstorming. I finally have a planning tool that works for me.

Pros

I've looked far and white for methods to do my project planning and tracking. Using the visuals Miro offers me is beyond anything i have found thus far. I finally get my plans in order and get more things done. Both for myself as for my team. Use it heavily to visualize dependencies, use size to signal importance, colors for status (to do-working-done) and use tags to mark technical debt. Zoom out to have the bigger picture like the decision trees, guiding principles. Zoom in and find the details for the daily job, mark your technical debt and more.

Cons

Because the interface doesn't get in your way, starting might be a little hard. I've had no problem with this myself, but found colleagues requiring some time to master Miro.

Reason for choosing Miro

Miro is good at what it does; I can harmonize my way of working with Miro and that's a perfect fit for me and my team (all visually inclined thinkers). It's not that we have the most elaborate planning/brainstorm/schematizing/... tool ever, but we \*finally\* have one that works for us.

Miro has done it for me. It allows me to simply do what i want, and to convey my thoughts and planning to others. It has become instrumental to my thinking process in preparation for a lot of things. It helps to have a visual as a story-telling aid when conveying something new.

### "Miro is a way to go when you are in today's fast past workspaces"

July 9, 2023

5.0

Our overall experience with Miro has been a successful one. They have not been down and we could not access our account and for that we are able to stay consistent in our task performance.

Pros

Miro seems to be the premiere when it comes to creating an interactive online workspace for your company. It allows us to see changes in real time and discuss it in real time. We use our online meeting space and Miro is an app that can be integrated into seamlessly, which makes the discussion so much clearer. Miro was not our first mind mapping and after we used this software we saw that we were loosing time that we did not know was there.

Cons

The isn't any to many cons at this moment, because the cons that were there at first Miro actually improved on them. The meeting room software integration was definitely a surprise addition.

Reason for choosing Miro

To keep using and learning these type of softwares to make apart of your business is not easy. So when you find one that does things like Miro you should not be constantly trying something that may get the things your company needs to get complete. You should use the one that is getting them completed efficientlylike Miro.

### "It's too much expensive"

August 3, 2021

4.0

It's a unique tool to have around when you deal with creative processes however it's too costly to upgrade and you can't expend your usage throughout your business.

Pros

I generally like the idea of having a canvas where we can freely work aND see the whole work in one look. Other than that, there're great templates to play with and they help greatly when you don't know how to work. I also like that everyone can work at the same time and it works smoothly.

Cons

It's too way much expensive. Just because of it's price, I tended to look for other software what miro tries to do but not as good as miro. Although we appreciate as a studio and would like to continue using in business levels, we look for other options. Rather than price, interface is not smooth as expected from it's work environment. You accidentally move lots of thing and takes too much time to correct what you've done. I don't understand why we can't lock everything...

Reason for choosing Miro

It's UI is better although it has it's own problems.

### "Fantastic option for remote collaboration"

December 4, 2021

5.0

Miro has become a critical tool in today's fully remote and hybrid work environments. I highly recommend it to anyone who values working with teams of people, especially where collaboration among the group in visually impactful ways is important. Miro is awesome!

Pros

Miro sets the bar for work collaboration tools in a remote environment. It is intuitive, very easy to use and feature rich. At its most basic level, it is a white-boarding collaboration tool and works excellently as such. Virtual post-it notes, text editing, visual effects, and the ability for multiple users to work in the same space concurrently all make it an outstanding tool. Most users can operate sufficiently in Miro within a few minutes after basic navigation instructions. However, it also has lots of more advanced features that make it powerful for advanced users. I also love the templates that are built into Miro. They are great starting points for collaborating with remote teams.

Cons

Miro has so many features that it can become overwhelming. Basic navigation is simple enough, but there are lots of features that are not as straight-forward. Miro also relies heavily on icons rather than text to indicate what the feature is. These often leave people guessing and it leads to lots of clicking to learn by trial and error. It would be great if Miro had more advanced, guided walk-throughs within the product to train people to be super users.

### "Great online collaboration tool"

August 3, 2021

5.0

Miro kinda saved me when I didn't have any alternatives in facilitating my creative sessions when Covid hit. I was able to implement it very quickly and it resonates to most of the users I have so far introduced it to. Great tools and templates to make work efficient.

Pros

It is a very reliable collaborative tool that provides a very intuitive user experience even for the most digitally challenged users. Most of all, it makes many dreadful meetings more fun.

Cons

As an admin it is difficult to manage my team. Currently it is very hard to control the type of membership of people in my organization. I have paid members, free members, trial members, free non-team users and everything in between. It seems like I cannot find a proper approach to have people join as a free member, it just happens, or doesn't. Also, it's a bit annoying that opening a board results in the 'hand' tool by default, while there are many other navigational tools available. Set the normal cursor as default instead?

### "A creative solution to collecting team members' ideas during interactive meetings"

March 17, 2023

5.0

With Miro, the cooperation between colleagues has become more powerful and effective, as it is great that we see the additions of team members directly on the whiteboard, which enables us to always discover new solutions to implement plans better.

Pros

Miro always helps us devise effective ways of collaboration to ensure we stay on the right track, as the whiteboard from Miro, in addition to the set of tools and features, is very great for organizing interactive meetings where we can exchange ideas and solve problems. Using emojis, shapes, arrows, and text boxes to create a workflow charts is very simple. I also like how Miro also allows us to collaborate on Proto-Personas, prioritize and set up experiment maps, and I also like that there are so many ready-made templates that give us great ideas for making all of those charts and more easily. It is also good that we can request the approval of the participating members on the final charts before they are sent for approval by the responsible manager.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike about Miro, especially since the interface is intuitive, the learning curve is very low, and adding new members is easy.

### "Miro changed the way I do University and Work"

August 4, 2021

5.0

Since I use Miro, Teamwork is too easy to manage. It changed the way we share documents, images, sketches and ideas. It is like a real White board where you can embed almost anything and collaboration in real time is such a great feature.

Pros

As an architect I love to have an organized and free Workspace. Miro is that amazing virtual workspace. I like a lot tools like Pen, Frame, Shape, Mind Maps, Kanban, Tables, etc. These tools do their job and are extremely easy to use and undestand. Presentation mode is a pppfff , it´s amazing , I love it, It´s so versatile. Video chat is a great tool, is very important for teamwork. In general, the App is very complete and has a big potential.

Cons

Well, as creative guys, we need many tools to express our ideas. I´d like to see tools like 3D on Miro. Tools related to Interior design, industrial design, architecture. I mean, tools that allow us to create what we´re thinking , what we see on our imagination. Because the creative process is what makes the difference. It comes to mind tools like 3D , complex shapes, to embed VR and AR docs, maps, idk... maybe not a tool but other Apps conected.

### "Collaboration with Miro is effective and visual"

February 20, 2023

5.0

Miro is an exceptional collaboration and whiteboarding platform that offers a range of features and functionalities to help teams work more efficiently and effectively. Its easy interface, extensive collaboration tools, and seamless integrations make it a powerful tool for remote teams, designers, and creatives.

Pros

One of its primary advantages is its intuitive interface, which makes it easy to navigate, even for first-time users. Additionally, Miro offers an extensive range of collaboration features, including real-time collaboration, commenting, voting, and video conferencing, enabling teams to work together seamlessly. Another advantage is Miro's customization options, which include pre-built templates, drag-and-drop functionality, and a library of icons and images, allowing users to create unique and visually stunning boards. Lastly, Miro integrates with a wide range of third-party apps, including Slack, Google Drive, and Trello, making it easy to incorporate into existing workflows.

Cons

There are some potential drawbacks to consider. First thing is that Miro's pricing can be costly for some users, especially those who need access to its more advanced features and functionalities. Secondly, while Miro is intuitive, it can still take some time to learn and master its many features and functionalities, which may be a challenge for some users and could take some time to learn all the features. Additionally, Miro's payment options are limited, as it only accepts credit cards as a payment method.

### "Miro is my pandemic best friend. "

April 15, 2021

5.0

I've been using Miro actively for about a year now and I can say that it's definitely upgraded and changed its game since I started. I've been openly recommending it and talking about it with peers and colleagues. It's a great tool and I can't wait to keep using it.

Pros

Miro is a great whiteboarding tool that is, at the core, easy to use and navigate. And, it's a joy to explore the tool as well. It's very friendly in a sense that it doesn't intimidate new users (as platforms like Adobe or Figma might), which is great when you're collaborating with people who aren't from design teams. The implementation of the miroverse and being able to explore a multitude of templates has been one of my favorite updates thus far. It's allowed me to understand and see the potential of Miro beyond what I tend to use it for. I find the timer tool (with the music update) to be extremely effective when I facilitate workshops internally or with people from other teams as well. The snap to grid tool is awesome.

Cons

I don't know why I can't increase font-size beyond 288px. Sometimes when I'm whiteboarding and really in the zone, I don't think about my dimensions or sizing and I get really frustrated when I size up the text and the textboxes elongate and enlarge automatically. I also don't know why I can't make the text inside sticky notes bold, and why there are only two font options for them.

### "Th golden standard in whiteboarding"

March 8, 2022

5.0

Generally the use and feel of Miro is great. We used it for planning, layouting, inspirations and moodboards. This is working absolutely great. ven exporting a backup from Miro feels as it is intended - no hassle. Just download the file. Same goes for exportin to PDF etc. Works. And that is the biggest added value.

Pros

The ease of starting using Miro is amazing. Just register and start whiteboarding. After a while if you need any functionality you can think of you start to dig through the menues in the app and just like that - you find what you need. Be it a canban or a timer or building blocks for flowcharting.

Cons

It is definitely on the pricier end when it comes to collaborative editing. Of course there is a free and a "consultant" plan, but even after signing up for that one sharing boards and stating editing feels a bit rough. So you might pay for users and taht gets expencive.

### "An infinite canvas of possibilities "

February 10, 2023

4.0

Miro has allowed our team to be on the same page when it comes to big projects. Be efficient, productive and in many ways be creative even in with the hardest clients.

Pros

It is one of the most compelling infinite canvas app we have ever tried. It's a program I've used in high school, college and business. In my industry we use it to keep track of our projects, during mind storming events and in everyday task related to design. It has a broad range of tools to keep creativity flowing and keep the team on the same page.

Cons

Though Miro has many advantages we believe there is room to improvement starting with security. We'd love to see a two steps verification system. More integration between other apps such as calendars would be appreciated. Maybe new tools and allowing third party plug ins (like Figma does) would elevate the Miro experience even more. Finally I think there must me a more elegant way to update Miro in the macOS platform.

### "Enough about project management, Miro is awesome for teaching !!"

August 3, 2021

5.0

I'm a university teacher. Since the pandemic started, I have been trying different platforms and software every semester. I have a pen tablet (Wacom Intuos L), but pairing it with the right sofware or platform is kinda tricky. I'm very picky and demanding about the quality of the drawings and visual tools I can present to my students in each class; and that's why I'm always looking for better tools. I've used OpenBoard, MS Whiteboard, MS OneNote, Krita, Blender (yes, not kidding!), Google Jamboard, Inkscape and Diagrams IO. Since I found Miro, everything changed, it's like... this is the tool !!... finally!!... I use it for each one of my classes. Also, I started using it in my other job, as a patent examiner, because it was so easy to visually represent all the information about a technical invention... but primarilly I use Miro as a teaching tool. I like Miro so much, I'm thinking about making a series of videos in my YouTube channel about how to use Miro for teaching, so the other professors at my university can use it too... and maybe like that we could convince the university to buy us some license... I hope it works. oh... I also used it to teach math to my niece, she is 13 years old, she really loved it

Pros

The "upload"-->"saved files" its the most usefull tool ever. I work with Inkscape to produce PNG drawings for my classes, and with Miro I can upload them into my "saved files" and re-use them in other classes... it's like having a library of drawings. Absolutely brilliant.

Cons

The price. I think you could make a simpler version for teachers that don't have enough money for a tool oriented to project management. The "teacher" version doesn't need Canvas, and all the others fancy integrations, just give us the "saved files" and the basic tools and we will make magic with Miro.

### "Great multiple purpose tool"

May 4, 2022

5.0

Mostly I am using it to create interactive screens that allow my team to cooperate while working on a software design for developing web applications. This tool is great for this purpose.

Pros

Great in process of software design and very useful for describing features for each user story. Also, a great tool while holding team integration and ice-breaker events.

Cons

Sometimes it may be hard to share a link that will be available for everyone - some features require a signed-in licensed user and even though I have the feature available I cannot share it with newcomers.

### "It is an invaluable collaborative software"

November 23, 2023

5.0

Visual ideas are very easy to represent in Miro. This has allowed us to expose ideas better and spend little effort on communication. It has also been a way to create fairly complete prototypes. We also often invite clients to see the first steps of commissioned projects so they can comfortably give feedback.

Pros

It is not necessary to download the app to use Miro. Inviting unfamiliar people is an excellent opportunity because it makes it easier for them. Also, it generates a lot of confidence in not having to install it if you don't know it. It is also a scalable and flexible software. From a couple of users to ten or more can collaborate without affecting functionality.

Cons

The way of sorting the tabs feels very clumsy. It's impossible to save them in folders or sort them to make them more accessible according to individual needs, which sometimes makes me uncomfortable.

### "Interactive and online meetings with real-time collaboration."

October 16, 2022

5.0

It is a totally new experience since this platform is completely different from other collaborative software. It is new, it is dynamic, it fully guarantees online collaboration and it has multiple functionalities that can be used intuitively.

Pros

With Miro, we do not need to have prior knowledge of the use of this tool, we can literally see it for the first time and start using it in collaborative mode without any type of training or instruction. This is a huge advantage to bring other people into an online meeting, tell stories and get feedback in a dynamic way.

Cons

There is a free version, which is excellent and provides multiple functionalities, however it is important to think that to grow in the organization we must budget for the paid version since it is important to have the documents in their repositories without the risk of losing information over time.

### "Miro is the dream product for remote teams!"

December 20, 2022

5.0

I love Miro, it’s helped me organize my own thoughts and ideas, and collaborate with people in any location and at any time (or asynchronously). It’s just Ana amazing repository, and a really flexible tool that provides all sorts of solutions.

Pros

Miro is the digital whiteboard I spent 20 years to see, and it’s almost as awesome as I always hoped. Being able to quickly and easily collect all sorts of materials, designs, references, links, diagrams, etc, and have a permanent, shareable repository is HUGE for teams.

Cons

I understand pricing st a basic level, where it’s basically just myself and a few reviewers, but I don’t understand how to scale it where large numbers of people are creating within it, and it seems like that would get expensive quickly.

i tell everyone about this tool. mainly folks outside the tech world. like furniture makers, jewellers, photographers, artist, anyone that needs to work through creative ideas with a collaborate partner or client.

Pros

I am continually surprised by little moments of wonder. like the first time a dragged a URL into a board and it created a beautiful thumbnail of the page i was just on! brilliant!

Cons

no cons per-sey. just new features. it looks like video calling is being rolled in. Playable videos in the board would be nice. collaborating on word/pages (or the whole suite actually excel, slides, etc) docs would be handy. I would also like to copy and paste from one miro to another.

### "Tracing paper and pen in a virtual environment"

October 5, 2021

5.0

With remote working, collaborating on complex design related problems became much more difficult. Screen sharing with snapping images and marking up was a quick fix, however this was slow and a 1-way communication. MIRO solved all of this and became the virtual equivalent of rolling out tracing paper and having a handful of people developing the design simultaneously. I think that it would be useful to enhance the sketching experience further. If there could be a virtual tracing paper with variable opacity to contain (group) a series of sketches similar to a frame this would be useful. This is currently possible with multiple objects but it becomes unwieldy. This would also allow the development of a simple layer system. Partial deletion of a hand drawn line would be really helpful. (I have in mind some of the user-experience of the Procreate sketching iPad app)

Pros

I found MIRO intuitive with no training necessary. You can invite collaborators effortlessly with only browser access required. This has been transformational for me during remote working.

Cons

When boards become large, the download process can be a little slow and it sometimes trips up with downloading the content that is currently in the viewer's screen. This can easily be resolved by archiving and starting a new board. Perhaps an option of local caching some content could be useful.

Switched from

[Microsoft Whiteboard](https://www.capterra.com/p/203470/Microsoft-Whiteboard/)

Ms Whiteboard was glitchy, did not have much rich content, and most critically you cannot see other users' pointer location. Pointer location is absolutely necessary to have a meaningful design discussion.

We use Miro for all our meetings, it's best choice collaboration tool for brainstormings, mapping, customer journey design, mostly used for this even if the tools offers a good and simple task management tool with also assignation. But the best use we make of this tools is always for meetings, sharing info, notes, brainstorming, clustering and solution sharing. It's very difficult we can change for other tools.

Pros

The collaboration within this product is very effective, nontheless the good amount of possibilities to share comments, notes, links, images and the intuitive use of the tools present give us good moment since we are mostly remote workers. We use it for all kind of meetings from brainstormings to task management, but we surely prefer use it for brainstormings than for showing static contents.

Cons

The most met problem is rendering time, I suppose there are a specific set of settings for the board, but it makes screen sharing very tedious sometimes, using the desktop app sometimes solves the problem but even passing from a tab to another make people nervous.
