### "Great for mapping functions "

July 11, 2024

4.0

Pros

I love how easy it is to use and all of the different functionality, whether it’s building out process mapping or whiteboarding it really allows me to make difficult situation more visual and manageable

Cons

The ability to save custom templates would make life so much easier. I build a template that works well for me and my team but then I have to build it out from the start every time. Would score this tool higher if it had this functionality

### "Awesome for workshops/ collaboration use cases"

April 30, 2024

5.0

This is a great tool for workshops (hybrid or fully remote) or brainstorming session types. It is simple to utilize, no training is required to participate, and there are also nice host-related tools (for example the popping up time keeper counter, the "pre-defined templates, etc)

Pros

No training is required. Defacto intuitive for new joiners. Scalability (you can start from 1 board, and then create many more). Very easy to collaborate/ brainstorm via post-its, comments. Templates are also great for hosts/ moderators (this makes workshops pre-work simpler and more efficient)

Cons

Complex to manage licenses at the corporate level. You may end up letting business users buy 'on their own' whenever necessary. A bit complex as well to manage access to participants.

Pros

I love that this is a highly interactive collaboration tool that I can easily use to facilitate meetings with remote staff. I work for a global non-profit and we have team members all around the world. Miro gives us a common ground to work.

Cons

I'm grateful Miro has a free option, but with a company our size it can be expensive to formally adopt for larger teams.

### "Very good tool for remote visual project management"

May 28, 2024

5.0

Pros

The Miro software is versatile, it allows you to visually manage all types of projects remotely and in real time. Very practical for teamwork. Perfect for workshops, it offers a collaborative work space. Highly appreciated for its flexibility and ease of use, it adapts to several uses. It integrates several applications as well as several functionalities.

Cons

Miro may become slow when multiple people use the dashboard simultaneously. The free version contains a lot of advertisements, and to have access to some more developed features, a paid subscription is required.

### "Bring visual elements into just about any meeting"

April 23, 2024

5.0

Pros

It is \*very\* easy and \*very\* quick to diagram with Miro. Ten minutes will give you a functional skeleton, thirty minutes will give you a really great flowchart/workflow/mind map etc. That's half the time I would expect to spend, based on my experience with other tools. What this means for individuals is that you're only a few minutes away from having something to share at a meeting. Even better, Miro makes it easy to share your work in a lot of different ways, including plain ol' export as a jpg, which means you can reach people who aren't necessarily going to jump on a video call with you.

Cons

Though the interface is pretty easy to use, some of the advanced features will force even experienced users to pause and say "Wait, what does this do?" Also, digital accessibility isn't Miro's strong suit and I doubt they're meeting all the WCAG guidelines.

### " A Deep Dive into Miro's Visual Collaboration."

November 17, 2023

5.0

Miro provides a highly visual and intuitive platform that enables teams to collaborate effectively, allowing for brainstorming, planning, and organizing ideas in a visual format. So personally I enjoy using Miro and I have recommended it to other people as well.

Pros

The platform's real-time collaboration features facilitate simultaneous work among team members, fostering quick updates, discussions, and feedback exchange. Miro's allows for various use cases, from project management and agile workflows to design thinking, allowing for diverse templates and frameworks. Enables teams to brainstorm, plan, and organize ideas in a visual format.

Cons

Some times as boards grow in size or complexity, the performance might decrease, leading to slower load times or potential lags in responsiveness. Beginners might initially find Miro's interface and features slightly overwhelming, requiring some little time to get use to it.

Pros

\- You can use Miro for free- You can be able to ask participants and join even if they are on free version- Creative tool in brainstorming and ideating for teams.- You can customize the board however you like to suit whatever you need.

Cons

It is a little bit expensive and a little buggy from time to time.

### "The best tool for visual collaboration between teams"

August 21, 2023

4.0

It's bright and cheery, there's plenty of room to spread out, and we can all use the whiteboards to coordinate our efforts. It's also simple to save favorite boards.

Pros

It's a great way for everyone to see where the project is at any given time, which helps with visual communication. It can be accessed from anywhere and on any device, and it's a breeze to use. In short, it is a useful tool to increase efficiency within the company.

Cons

It would be nice if Miro's wireframing made more sense; I have to constantly resize icons to make them seem right, the layering is a pain, neither the mobile nor the desktop template are included, neither of which is ideal. When all else fails, I just manually capture the screen.

A speedy method of producing wireframes for communicating ideas to groups before developing high-fidelity designs. The ease with which several selections can be layered is another fantastic feature.

### "The best Whiteboard solution so far"

November 17, 2023

5.0

When being used to it, using it is very intuitive. I use it often with clients in remote calls. They love to see the progress of a consulting or mentoring process visualized.

Pros

Miro offers a vast number of options and the highest flexibility. Tons of templates, automations, sharing options and AI support are great features.

Cons

The complexity of the systems requires some time to get used to it. It is an unavoidable downside when you want the most functional system.

### "Exceptional Collaboration and Creativite Platform"

August 1, 2023

5.0

Miro has become an indispensable tool in our creative and collaborative processes. It has elevated our team's productivity and fostered a sense of unity, even when we work remotely. I highly recommend Miro to any team seeking an innovative and powerful platform for collaboration and creative expression.

Pros

Miro's collaborative features are unparalleled. It allows our team members, regardless of their physical location, to collaborate on the same canvas simultaneously. This has significantly improved our efficiency, as we can brainstorm ideas, share feedback, and work together in real-time without any lag or delays. The extensive collection of pre-built templates is a game-changer. Whether it's for project planning, brainstorming sessions, or design sprints, Miro offers a wide range of templates that cater to our specific needs. It saves us time and enables us to jump-start our creative processes.

Cons

I wish they had an option for selective HIDE for few board members, it would be helpful during presenting/ sharing ideas in a chronology.

### "Great virtual tool for sharing ideas and team communication"

August 15, 2023

4.0

It's simple to implement and facilitates simultaneous teamwork on a shared board. The learning materials made available by Miro are great for getting up and running quickly and mastering its features.

Pros

The Miroverse community is the most useful aspect of Miro. This is a website that brings people together and provides more than 2000 premade Miro themes. When you're familiar enough with the options, you can make your own board just the way you want it.

Cons

Even if Miro's community site looks great, more attention should be paid to the many user communities that make use of it. Consider doing a user spotlight every other week to share how you're using Miro for your own purposes. This would help people who have never used Miro before learn the ropes.

### "Use Miro if you work on teams and save a lot of update calls!"

September 20, 2023

5.0

I love this tool to go through a design thinking process with my clients and we can work on the project at the same time and irritate it even if we are not in the same room.

Pros

I really love the fact that you can save your board with a password so not everybody is able to access the board if they are not supposed to. I also love that is really easy to handle and intuitiv. It helps all the team members to work on one project and it doesnt matter where you are.

Cons

I actually dont like the zoom in miro. This is actually better in figma or similar tools. I sometime get to close or I select everything by accident. I hope miro can fix that in the future.

### "Operational asset"

March 7, 2024

5.0

Pros

\- Very intuitive UI that unlocks efficient diagramming - Wide range of templates that optimize the time you spend diagramming - Very versatile, you can do a number of things for remote and on-site teams

Cons

\- The zooming in and out with mouse can trip me up sometimes, and cause some frustration - I do wish there were more options to 'label' grouped items together or that when adding a background to a section, the background moves with the section
