I've contacted their customer support once and they were very friendly and helpful. Cons I haven't experienced anything that I disliked about VidCruiter. I also didn't use it for so long though. With Vidcruiter we are able to spend less time doing phone calls for reference checks. I feel the references are more forthcoming with their answers about the candidates by filling out the forms rather than speaking to one of us on the phone. Pros I liked the compartmentalization of notes, video, etc, it was easy to multitask and stay engaged with the process. The video quality itself is very good- we spoke to folks around the world and I have shaky internet and there was no lag from vidcruiter. Cons It would be helpful if at the end of an interview session you could somehow be transported to a separate video call room (like a breakout room) so you and the other interviewer could debrief there. I'm always a tad worried that the interviewee will somehow log back into the original room, so we try to debrief offline. Recruitment Specialist Primary/Secondary Education Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Best value for the functionality of doing one-way interviews" February 19, 2017 5.0 Our department decided we wanted to explore the possibility of doing one-way interviews as part of our application process because we serve a unique demographic that is spread across many different islands. We looked into three different platforms in order to see which had the most functionality for the best price. We ended up going with VidCruiter because of the large variety of functions and how customizable each feature is. Also, when compared to other platforms that offer the same customizations, VidCruiter was able to provide us with more for less money. They also were more flexible and offered to give us a trial rate with the option to add on more if we were happy with the product. Lastly, they offered us a 20% discount for being a non-profit organization. We were happy that we were able to get a very robust platform for much cheaper than the other platforms we had looked into. This will be our first year using this product, but we feel confident that it will provide us with the tools we need as we were given multiple demos and their customer support has been fast and effective. Pros We used VidCruiter to undertake a substantial and complex recruitment process and found it invaluable. The software enabled us to easily schedule, interview, rate, and review over 100 candidates in a short timeframe with minimal administrative input from our staff. The system was easy to use for candidates and panel members; and creating reports of outcomes was also easy.
