It allows for easy and smart course creation for all types of learners; one can easily manage and track the learning activity across different tiers of learners. Cons One cannot make easy graphic level modifications, without basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. The user experience is not that great as compared to other Learning Management systems. Pros I really like the overall learning experience. I also appreciate that Docebo brings in product updates based on customer feedback and offers flexibility to tailor learning for different audiences. Cons The learning plans could be improved. For example, it would be great to have more options for segmenting courses or letting learners choose electives from a set of courses. Also, It would be helpful to have the option to create courses from a template to save time and maintain consistency. Exploring gamification looks like it may be promising but honestly, I'm already disappointed that the demo environment presented to us has all sorts of customizations that require external resource/effort to create. We've used it for onboarding, internal upskilling, and instructor-led programs. The flexibility of the platform allows us to design a branded and engaging experience, while the API and automation capabilities help us operate efficiently at scale. There’s some room for improvement in ILT admin workflows, but overall the platform performs well and continues to improve. Pros Docebo is highly customizable—both in how it looks and how it functions. We were able to tailor the learner experience to reflect our brand and workflows. The automation and API options save a lot of admin time, and ILT sessions are easy for learners to access, even on mobile. The support team is also exceptional: responsive, friendly, and very helpful when solving complex needs. Cons Instructor-Led Training (ILT) management still has some limitations on the admin side. For example, there's no built-in automation for session-level enrollment, and the instructor role permissions are broader than needed. We’ve worked around these issues with custom solutions, but native improvements would reduce admin overhead. We have monthly meetings with our customer success rep which is really helpful and enlightening to system updates I wouldn't have become aware of on my own. There are a few hiccups here and there, but nothing extremely major, and typically very easy to use. Pros It is extremely user friendly to administer. One does not require an extreme amount of technical/coding knowledge or background to successfully manage this platform. Cons It can take a while for the Docebo team to make updates to any given pain point, because there are a lot of areas for improvement in the system. It is just that some are not as necessary as others to me/my team. Our team went through a Docebo to Docebo migration which was definitely not seamless and required alot of manual work. The Docebo team was fantastic however, and their technical experience was a lifesaver so the project was successfully completed. I use Docebo as a Superadmin everyday and overall I would recommend it to others looking for an LMS. Pros Customer Service Experience - Support agents are super helpful Knowledge base is built out - the amount of courses, knowledge base articles, and the Docebo community for peer learning is again super helpful Cons \- No option to archive courses, only put under maintenance - Our org needs to have more power users permissions, to avoid the amount of super admins we have - Lack of customization on pages. Our company was using another LMS provider that was not integrated well and there was low engagement. We did put a lot of effort and resources to build out the Docebo LMS, which paid off as we have high engagement, a deep seeded admin and power user team, and the platform has been quickly integrated into company learning quickly. Pros ur team appreciates that there are meaningful enhancements to continually create a better admin and user experience, which is why we have added it to our long-term roadmap. I personally appreciate the admin support chat and email team. Cons the need to have an in-platform authoring tool that is robust, interactive, and has more options and tools. They just launched a version, but it is very basic. This would allow us to launch the platform globally, as other regions need in platform authoring. The other piece is that Docebo has a Salesforce-type technical approach, where they have premium partners that can assist with dev and API work. Cons Since we have over 2500 employees it did take some time to setup since we integrated this platform with our payroll system. Cons The length of the onboarding over a number of weeks. We would have liked a more intense onboarding course over a shorter period of time. They are very engaged with me & when I was at their annual meeting, the account manager introduced me to people who could help in some things he knew I would be interested in. Just one more reason to appreciate the customer experience with them. Pros Docebo has a platform that we can grow into. They make updates that make the organization look good, as it keeps the learner view and/or experience fresh. The customer service aspect is very good - there is a chat & a knowledge library & community at your fingertips. And they have a system of upvoting ideas that the community may make. Cons When setting up your system, there are a lot of things to do. One of the frustrating things can be the number of clicks to create something. Reason for choosing Docebo Ultimately, we choose Docebo because it looked fresh, it looked like it kept up with the times - our customer base ranges from 19 year olds to 80+ and so we needed it to be visually appealing for our great content, but we also needed it to be user-friendly. Customer service and technical support is fantastic. Pros Our company needed to combine both external and internal training content from several LMS and merge into one central LMS. The ability to set up branches has allowed us to do that while still allowing customization and controlling the type of access needed for each departmental usage. Cons Reporting feature (as with all LMS I've come across) is still not robust enough in it's customization features. We still have to export raw data into another application to get the reports we need. I have yet to have an idea to implement in my Docebo LMS that I have not been able to execute. The sky is the limit with Docebo! Pros Docebo is a user-friendly platform that allows you to build customized and intentional learner experiences. Cons While the out of the box reports can get you most of the metrics you need, the labeling of reports and they way they organize the data isn't always the most intuitive. The custom report builder can do most things, but getting to your final result isn't always an intuitive experience. Our implementation specialist was very transparent with us. When she couldn't answer a question we had for her, she made sure to follow up once she found the answer. Our CSM has also been great! Always very responsive. Docebo has allowed us to tackle so many new projects and provide our learners with a ton of new on demand resources and training. We are so excited to see what is down the road for Docebo! Pros Customization - The ability to customize homepages, additional fields, notifications, etc. has been extremely useful. Usability - Our users find it very easy to use on their end. It is very user friendly Overall Training - We have been able to accomplish a ton of training since we went live a few months ago. We have been able to create training in house and assign it to our sales teams in Docebo and upload content from an outside provider. This has given our learners a ton of opportunity to learn when they want and where they want. The People - Everyone we have worked with at Docebo have been very responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Cons Would love move functionality when it comes to reporting, surveys, and rating/commenting on courses. We'd like more customizable and powerful reporting. We need the ability to send pre and post course surveys for many courses (same survey, but need to know which course it is filled out for). We also need the ability to see the number of ratings on courses and be notified when our users comment on a course. A couple other things.... Response time can be frustrating. Our platform can be slow sometimes . There are a few other "wants" as far as functionality goes, but it is overall very powerful. It is very turn-key experience early-on, but also allows you to grow it into the LMS of your dreams. My LMS admin has been able to shape the learner experience by utilizing all the many customization features Docebo has. It is an integral part of our company's daily learning. Pros The control the platform gives you. The customization options are off the charts! We've completely bent Docebo to our desires and set up various views for different roles and departments, as well as customer reporting. The white label experience is also fabulous. Cons The thing I least like about Docebo is actually an asset to them. They offer additional modules including social learning and learning insights, but both at additional cost. Since we didn't purchase those when we first started with Docebo, now I'll have to get separate budget approval for them. There are great ways to categorize data, and the reporting functionality is very robust. Cons There are many constraints in Docebo that do not appear to have any purpose other than to degrade the experience and make it harder to use. It is a shame that these issues exist as they prevent Docebo from really reaching its full potential. We do due diligence a keep an eye for what is in the marketplace, Docebo keeps surprising us with upgrades, they really listen to their users needs, and because of that they keep meeting our needs, even the one we did not knew we had :) Pros Ease of use, learn as you go, support is there when you need it. We chose it because it reporting tool and continuous enhancements. Cons As a tool it is great no biggies. One of my pet peeves is that when exporting users profiles, the default is: do not include headers. Allowing power users managing channels to delete comment from their channels. At this time only SuperAdmins can delete a comment. More out of the box integrations with HRIS system. Many clients want to manage their training from their system, and need two way communication between systems. Without to having to get programmers into the mix.
