WPS Office is a free, small and fast office suite, that provides you three powerful applications known as Writer, Spreadsheets and Presentation. It is highly compatible with MS Office while presents a similar interface to the latter. I've been using WPS Office for more than three years, and I love it so much that I stopped using other similar apps. It is very user-friendly for beginners. I used it for document management.

Pros

Additionally to being simple to use, I can directly create DOCX files on it. In the past, I had to do this by opening Microsoft Word on my computer. It is very efficient in file sharing.

Cons

The advertisements in the free version are the main disadvantage. Certain features, particularly those related to PDFs, are blocked by a paywall. Sometimes, when complicated documents created in other programs are opened, formatting somewhat changes.

Nel complesso per me è stato utile soprattutto su smartphone con sistema operativo Android o IOS utilizzandolo come strumento di redazione e modifica testi in formato doc.

Pros

Per me è una valida alternativa qualora non si desiderasse o non si potesse usare Microsoft Office. Utile anche su smartphone sia su sistemi operativi IOS che Android.

Cons

Il confronto su Microsoft Office si fa sentire. Per la funzione dedicata alla redazione documenti (.doc) non è così fluido e immediato come Word.

It is a solid 8.5/10 software that can be used on a daily basis. this is most suited for beginner company or a student who is looking for cost effective measures. It basically works 9/10 times. However, limitations are there like lack of features, advertisement on display.

Pros

Cost effectiveness is what I like the most about WPS office. If you are a beginner or a student, it is extremely handy tool that gives access to edit and view documents. Also, it works seamlessly in all platforms like windows, iOS.

Cons

Least liked: lack of features. For instance, if you have to add digital signature in pdf, you will need to subscribe the premium version.

It been great using wps office for over 3 years now, especially the app version, I dropped other related apps for it. It very beginner friendly.

Pros

It is easy to use, and I can also create DOCX files directly on it. Before, I had to open Microsoft Word on my PC to do this.”

Cons

I do not like that I cannot upload all my text, DOCX, and PDF files to a cloud server and import them easily. When I change my phone, I have to back up everything offline, which is stressful for me.

The transition from Libre Office or the one from Microsoft was smooth and unnoticeable at first. I have not used any office product from Microsoft, i think that Edge has a way to use Word Excel, power Point , will check it out.

Pros

It's almost the same as the somewhat "traditional" office software, I know that Google also has its own office tools and a lot more companies also have their own, but WPS is a great option, it does not require many resources to run.

Cons

Sometimes ads can be annoying, I just want the free version, it already offers a lot and in my case it's more than enough, 1gb of cloud storage it's a good decent amount.

I use WPS Office to manage my word document, spreadsheet, and presentations all at once without safety on compatibility issues whenever I share files with my other colleagues who use other suites.

Cons

When I change to a new device sometimes the cloud sync fails to update me of my current changes so I have to check on the file to make sure it is up to date.

Overall, WPS Office has been a reliable tool for my daily work. It handles documents, spreadsheets, and presentations well. For a free alternative to MS Office, it performs above expectations and is perfect for students or freelancers.

Pros

WPS Office is fast, user-friendly, and works smoothly even on basic systems. It opens all Office files easily and maintains formatting well. The tabbed interface is very convenient for multitasking, and the built-in PDF tools are a nice bonus.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the ads in the free version. Some features are locked behind a paywall, especially for PDFs. Occasionally, formatting slightly changes when opening complex documents made in other apps.
