Generally speaking, it's easy to find what I'm looking for, and the information on the resources/articles I use is well-vetted and accurate. I think there is always room for improvement, so I would give an overall rating of 9 out of 10. Pros I like the 50-state charts. They simplify compliance monitoring. As an HR compliance analyst in a company that has employees in more than 40 states, these charts are immensely helpful. Cons Some articles/resources, such as one regarding new hire paperwork in CA, are long. A table of contents with links on the side would make it easier to navigate articles that are unusually lengthy. Staying on top of compliance issues and the changing of policies is difficult. This system makes it a lot easier to manage! Pros I love how easy it is to look up the information that I need. The other thing I love is that I can review policy by each state to keep up to date on things I might not know. The checklists are incredible as well. There is a lot of value in the system. Cons I do not have anything that I do not like about Brightmine. I like that you can favorite sections of the website to keep them in the front of mind. I think this is a newer feature. Pros Brightmine is very easy to use and navigate and contains a wealth of information which can be accessed very quickly. It's regularly updated to reflect legislation changes and is my trusted source for employment information. I wouldn't want to be without Brightmine; it's become an integral tool enabling me to do my role quicker and more efficiently. Cons The cost, it's quite expensive compared to others although the product is far superior to it's competitors.
