Truly best in class. Pros Latest ability to separate team rewards by person makes it even easier. The app is incredible. Not many know about it but its so easy to use. Someone did me a huge favor in the shop. I shot a picture and easily gave them a inspire award while they were machining my part. Cons I really dont have anything to report. Pros The awards are impressive, and the product selection is extensive, offering a variety of items to choose from. I've personally purchased blankets, utensils, an air-fryer, and many other useful household items. The customer support is excellent, and the products delivered are always genuine. Cons Did not find much con. But if there had been an option to get Amazon vouchers. The main demerit of having brands like BigBasket is that the prices are always in the higher side in BigBasket. So even if you purchase it from there, you end up spending more than market prices. One more important part is lack of review system, which can be improved. June 10, 2024 4.0 My team didn't have anything like Workhuman before it was brought in, so it's very popular, and I always hugely appreciate a meaningful reward for my work. The ecards have been absolutely brilliant for either bringing big purchases into easy reach or making some discretionary treat justifiable, and it always feels good to see a nomination notification. However, the selection of ecard providers seems to be narrowing in Ireland and that has damaged confidence in the program, people do find themselves wondering if they should use their points ASAP in case a vendor won't be available next time they check. The loss of some, notably Argos, without replacement, makes the points far less versatile too. Pros The user interface is generally good, and it's a clear, valuable reward for employee performance rather than an empty gesture. It makes a big difference to be able to select for myself what I put my rewards towards, and the ecards are brilliant for taking the edge off a pricey hotel or some really useful household goods that unexpectedly need to be replaced. Being able to select gift cards from other countries for online shopping is great too. Probably the best perk in my workplace, and it's a big deal to receive a nomination. Cons The Irish gift card catalogue selection is notably narrower than other territories (such as UK or France) and seems to be getting narrower all the time. This means that when Argos (a handy catch all) pulled out of the Irish market, Appreciate vouchers became far, far less useful to us. I recently wanted to use my points for a hair straightener - the only two options for me to use them available were way, way overpriced and one would have required me to wait for vouchers by post and then go to a store, which just wasn't practical. Cons I would like to request whether the logistics component could be improved, like a progress bar or milestone bar showing the state of the order. On the topic of gifts, there are a lot of options. Cons I don't think there are email reminders to approve awards, so if I know one hasn't been approved, I have to dig into the recognition to find out who I need to contact. Our teams love getting modest monetary rewards through the Applause program that they can spend on fun items. We also like using these points of recognition in our mid year and annual reviews. Cons Choice of gift cards or rewards are limited at times. We would like to see more options for vendors to use gift cards at. July 1, 2024 5.0 Since I joined my actual company, I have used Workhuman as a weekly tool to express gratitude whenever I feel the need to express it. It's a tool that motivates people to continue doing their job the best way possible. I have never experienced a failure in this platform, I think it works very well. And the initial questions that orientate to give the award are a good step to think about what exactly you want to recognize. For me, every company should use this platform. Pros I like the most that it's a platform where you can express words of gratitude to other coworkers with the help of an autocorrect so that the message is written in the best possible way. Sometimes is hard to say thanks face to face so this is a great help, to use the correct words. From my experience, your coworkers really appreciate this kind of recognitions. Cons I understand that everything needs to be reviewed by a manager or a supervisor, but sometimes, from my experience... for instance, you place an award of 800 points because the coworker really deserves it, and the supervisor changes it to 300 points, for some internal politics inside the company. July 5, 2024 5.0 Pros I really enjoy our ability to create and share feedback with others, as well as the Awards feed that showcases feedback given to other members within your company workgroup, or optionally, org-wide. The ability to recognize and cheer your fellow workmates on, as well as the ability to see others be recognized for their success is a great boost to moral. The ability to get paid in points that can be redeemed for actual merchandise for doing a good job at work is especially encouraging as well. The features within the "Conversations" section of Workhuman is great for empowering you to own your development. You can notate your achievements for the quarter as well as add feedback received to your review directly from Recognize. Then your manager can respond to your review, add feedback, and so you can collaborate to build a continued development plan together. Cons When leaving feedback for others, I don't think the survey it offers for deciding points is particularly helpful for its intended purpose, as it often recommends giving "Thanks"(no points) even when you believe the action that initiated you to leave feedback was impactful enough to deserve points.
