It works, recognition flows naturally and people feel seen. Company culture almost immediately became like fresh oxygen in a stale room. But like any powerful system, it has needs: We had to dedicate someone to intentionally set it up And it required some leadership buy-in. Pros Workhuman Boosts Engagement and Morale (For Real) This is where Workhuman earns its reputation. It encourages connection across teams It builds a culture of gratitude It Improves satisfaction We noticed immediately stronger engagement and a more connected workplace. Cons The Rewards Value Isn’t Always Perfect The idea is great—the execution, however can vary. Some items are overpriced....and The points don’t always match real-world value If there is a flaw it is that the reward pricing can feel inconsistent. Using the WorkHuman app allows me to see who else is receiving recognition within my department so I am no longer left wondering why I am receiving recognition. WorkHuman is helpful in allowing me to be more proactive with my co-workers as I can now easily recognize them from my phone. WorkHuman has saved me actual dollars as I have used my points to purchase items such as a watch instead of spending my own money. Pros I was pleasantly surprised that I did receive the Sony noise cancelling headphones for the points I redeemed and I did not pay a single penny in shipping. I thought the onboarding process was going to be much worse than what it turned out to be. I also was happy to find out that I didn't have to contact IT one time. The app does work while I am walking down to the break room and want to quickly send a message. Cons The tracking for electronic gift cards has no tracking at all. This means I will have manually go through my spam and try to locate the gift card. I've seen some instances where the delivery date for the electronic gift cards are way over the estimated delivery date given to me by WorkHuman and it is frustrating. Review Source AR Agnes R. I used it to get a replacement for damaged product I bought elsewhere and the customer service was far better than that company's. It never lets me miss someone's work anniversary because the data is already saved within the database. Pros I can send a badge from the galley as I wait for our flight to land, and my laptop is currently melti…they’re burning my legs due to the busted fan The system didn't fail when I tried entering with just my normal work email. Cons There are too many tabs in the application this creates another frustrating case. The website is so easy to navigate making it very user friendly. Plus having so many options in the storefront is always a plus! Cons Sometime I wish the filters in the storefront had more option. Pros It's an awesome and complete tool to recognize employees, the best perk is that the tool is very efficient, so whenever there is a recognition to anyone is fast and that credit is available to be used for a lot of variety of gift cards, those gift cards also come really fast to your email and they always work. Cons If you purchase items or products other than the gift cards, almost all the products are overpriced, sometimes they have a discount but still they are way overpriced when you compare the same product at any online retailer. Pros Easy and Simple way of rewards redemption with the multiple options to purchase. This is a great platform in giving and receiving recognition. I like that the service is user friendly and useful to recognize employees which helps to build a positive and encouraging workplace. Cons Need to improve their customer support and if they can concentrate on the redemption of the reward points balance to exchange as gift cards without rounding up the points example, If an employee having 1020 points balance he/she could only redeem their balance by starting 300 points in 3 times, So that they will get 3 gift cards worth the balance with the left over 120 points in their wallet, instead of this if they can exchange entire reward points to gift cards it will be helpful to use convert all the points to gift card is worthy. July 26, 2024 4.0 Overall, my experience with the Workhuman system is positive, and I am grateful that our company has chosen to utilize this system as our Reward system over the previously used on. There is more flexibility built into the system and it feel much more rewarding. I would love to see the Workhuman system replace other reward systems outside of our standard Annual Merit Increases, used by our company as well. Pros What I like most about Workhuman is that the system allows Leadership and Peers alike to recognize others immediately when merited. When using an Annual Merit Increase system, many of the positive efforts put forth by employees gets lost in all the other work that takes place. Being able to recognize employees quickly for a 'Job Well Done' really helps employees feel like their contributions and efforts are meaningful. It feels bad when employees are quickly acknowledged when something is wrong but forgotten when something positive happens. In addition to the previous comment, the fact that our Reward Point do not expire is positive in a way I cannot even express is this small amount of space. HUGE Win there. Cons A couple things I do not like about Workhuman: \* Poor default sorting of catalog items \* Inability to truly customize sorting and filters \* Inability to request additional Manufacturer options for Items and Give Cards in a formal way that gives employees a chance to explain the request and or discuss the inability to add certain items due to extenuating circumstances. Too many times in the corporate environment, employees are given a canned response to questions like this and all it does is cause frustration. We are all adults, let's treat each other that way.
